I really love MGS 1. I always did like the stealth parts of Batman Arkham series, and somehow, a game that came out 26 years ago feels just as refined if not moreso. I love having to sneak around and try to figure out to get to the next area, finding weapons and updates through my own wit. My only grips with the game are the times I stop doing that and have to use guns. It’s the one time it feels dated and hard to control. There’s also this section where I have to button mash to resist torture, and oh my God, I hate it so much that I had to use a spoon to get through it and now my controller looks like this:
Oh that’s great to hear! Hopefully they finish it by the time I finally get around to playing it.
I can’t wait for Autumn even more now with the upcoming hurricane. Seems like it’s going to be tough around here for a while, but I think I’ll be safe and fine.
Funny enough, I’m now reading the Yu-Gi-Oh manga lol. Like you sent this comment a day or two after I started reading haha. But Kaiba is pretty interesting with his backstory. It makes me wonder if he’s truly evil, or having this act pulled up because of how he was raised. It’s really fun and gets me on the edge of my seat with the card duels. Currently I’m on the part where Yugi and Jonouchi (who I love so much) are in a two on two match, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Ah that’s unfortunate. Was the Dark Side of Dimensions a good movie at least? That’s sweet of you. It almost sounds like you gave them to the next generation of kids. I actually went out and bought the cards for Yu-Gi-Oh the other day:
I tested out the starter deck with my sister, and I was having fun until they started talking about the extra deck stuff. I don’t really like how complicated some cards get with how many abilities they have. It hurts to read and decipher what on earth they mean. Link era cards? What are the different eras in Yu-Gi-Oh?
How come Lego is a strange brand to you? Is it because of all the licensing they do now?
If I had to guess, the first image is a grasshopper?
And wasps get that small????
I am indifference to bugs, but I have this weird interest of loving to hear about random animal facts and watch stuff like that. I say weird because I would never go out of my to research it, but if I see it explored in a manga/anime/show or a friend telling me about them, I’m very interested. Do you have a favourite bug?
Ohhhhhh, I actually played this game as a kid but only got to play it once before I could never find it again. It does look pretty fun, maybe one day someone will rip it off again lol.
True, it surprises me we’re already in October when it doesn’t even feel that long.
Wow, that’s really old. Is it a good game or you haven’t played it yet? Well, if we count release date it would be The Rubber Soul album from The Beatles, but I bought that at brand new. By actual age, it would be my stuffed animals, Blue Number 1 and Blue Number 2 (Amazing names, I know):
What happened to your copy of Treasure Island?
Wow, 10 whole years then. Would you consider ARR and the first expansion the best parts of the game with story as well? I heard Shadowbringers and Endwalker are the best ones, and Dawntrail has mixed reactions. Ikr, it’s going to be a while before I finally reach Dawntrail lol. This is also the first time I’ve had to paid for a subscription for a game, so I have been holding off until I have enough money to do something like that for months.
Ah yeah, I heard they were releasing those in cinemas again. How was watching the first one again? Nothing coming out in cinemas atm, but I am looking forward to watching The Colors Within and the rerelease of Cowboy Bebop the movie next year. I mostly watch movies from back then, like I watched The Road to El Dorado and I want to watch Treasure Planet soon. Oh is it really? I want to watch the original Transformers someday. Lol, do you mean the Transformers movie or you’re watching something different with them? I watched the cartoon for Scott Pilgirm, and it’s kind of this continuation thing where it trackles new themes with the characters. A sort of looking back on the events of the original series, and goes into a new direction. I really liked it, but idk if you would like it. That sounds really cool! I’ll add it to my list on goodreads. Maybe they did, idk, I didn’t see anything about it. Oh really, nice.
Yeah, those are way easier to get into and you don’t need a ton of backstory to immerse yourself in. Maybe one day I’ll try to get into some Marvel comics, but I probably will read the self contained ones more often.
Ah so a lot of the modern Gundam then. I heard G-Reco is really bad, but I still want to watch it out of curiosity. Lol, I’ve seen nothing but UC besides Seed, so I get that. Seed is like a modern version of the original Gundam in some aspects, but has a lot more romance and a really interesting rivalry between Kira and Athrun.
I have actually. Right now I’m going through the Tekken series, and I’m on 6 right now. You also saw me play Eastward and I’ve also been playing Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and a bit of Relink. What kind of games have you been playing?
@Nette oh I didn't mean match as in match on a dating app, I meant it like you're set for life if you find one person you wanna be in a relationship with hypothetically. Regardless your point is still valid lol there's so many self unaware/weird people it makes dating hella exhausting. It's why I've become hella picky which is at the same time weird because how much can you really tell from someone's profile?
(i didnt type this reply for nothing so here ya go LMAO)

And no I am definitely not a right winger I assure you x_x Would rather die lmao
