| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this season sure didn't waste much time getting right down to business. The bath scenes came in full force with all the guys nearly nude. Feels like this season is going to feature a lot of manservice like the previous seasons. The talking animal gimmick is back too lul I'm prepared for a crazy ride of mindless entertainment fun. |

| Purple hair guy (seems to be the main character this time) dreams a lot (both sleeping and "make up" stories) and orange hair guy likes to care for him. So this time there are 2 first years and one 3rd year. Student council also introduced. There's still hot tub. Mysterious guy appearing all of the sudden and showing lots of magic. As well as becoming small animal. They are ignoring him. So kiss is related to transforming. "GDGD" fight like the previous series. lol @ "Are you happy?" So the victim has an old voice, which is his complex. So it's brother fight of the kingdom. Enemy appearing in front of them right at the very first ep. OP aired as ED this ep. |

| Love-Hajimeru, I haven't had the chance to watch the first episode yet so take this with a grain of salt, but my guess is no. Happy Kiss is a separate series from LOVE with all new characters, and even though the setting and some elements are the same, you can probably enjoy this one without knowing much about LOVE! This is just a prediction based on the material staff provided beforehand but... |

| "Are you happy?" "Yes!" I love that this is back, and still cheesy and adorable as the previous series was. That otter is seriously too adorable though. I want him as a plushie, lol. New cast seems pretty much like the old cast, but shuffled. I quite like the new costumes as well. Especially the pink one. So yea, this feels pretty much like the first series rebooted, and since I loved the first one, I am down for this one as well. |

| I was really worried that this was gonna be a copy and paste of the last two seasons but I was pleasantly surprised! Also having the laid back character be the main one is pretty interesting so far. |

| The first two seasons were extremely cringy, but the comedy was good enough, so I was able to watch them. This season, the cringe is too strong, and the new characters aren't very likable. I will probably watch a few more episodes to see if this gets better. So far, I am not liking it. |
| This was fun, I think I like all of the new cast, especially Kyotaro. The lazy one being the leader this time is a nice contrast to Yumoto. The transformation sequences are nice, the manservice is nice, the otter is cute and good thing he has his own body this time and won't need to use the old man's. lmao The only thing I didn't like was the outfits, they were too flamboyant to my likes, but oh well. Looking forward for more of this! |
| I really liked the LOVE! series (plural) a lot more than I probably should have, and maybe I grew too attached to Ryuu and Yumoto, but so far the guys haven't really appealed to me. Interested to see more of Maasa, the student council bishounen, however! I do like the the looks of Pink and Green, but they haven't won me over yet. The manservice was nice... but hopefully they step it up just a bit. Not quite sure how I feel about Takuya Eguchi as an otter, but I guess I'll see. And Hiroki Yasumoto as the evil animal again? Wasn't Zundar and Dadacha enough?? |

| They might bring the previous characters back for at least and episode, or at least even Yumoto or Goura seeing that the hot springs is where they work. Especially since during the bath scene they made the wood chopping noises very apparent, and given the last 2 season we should know who is chopping it. xD |
| I didn't hold my breath for it, but it was worse than I had expected and quite a lot worse than the first season and its first episode that I still remember because Chikuwaba was pretty fun. These new characters are duller too and the dialogues are literally putting me to sleep. Sure, it's a bit of a twist that the most low-energy guy got to be the red ranger instead of someone very energetic like Yumoto, but that's pretty much the only thing this show has going for it. I'm not sure if I'll be watching this... maybe if there will be some time left to spare... |

| Just finished the OVA for the old series and decided to jump into the new one, despite feeling really torn up over the ending. The new characters seem interesting. A protagonist even lazier than En-chan, I see. And if there weren't enough bishounen, it appears the animal mascots have human forms too. Although when they started pulling something out of the bath I thought it was going to be another almost dead sensei (seriously, is it even Binan Koukou without dead sensei jokes??). I loved the allusions to the past Defense Club, seems like anyone who uses that club room is just fated to save the world. So far, I don't think it has the charm, heart, or even the comedy of the last one, but with more development maybe it will get there. Also, what is Yuu Kanda doing as the Binan student council president? |

| Seems like too much of a retread -- They go to the same school, are in the same club, go to the same bathhouse, and the antagonists are the student council again... The characters do seem different though, can't find counterparts to the previous one. The new red is pretty much the opposite of Yumoto. I fear they may have gone too far with that, Yumoto really brought the energy. The rest don't seem as strong as the others, but it's probably too early to judge. Glad they fit in both happy and kiss into the episode. It was funny when they talked about how Carls was like part of a cult or something. |

| This cast is quite different than the previous cast. They don't seem that interesting, and the "lazyness" of the main guy is quite annoying, but hopefully things will get more interesting in a couple of episodes. |
