New OP song sounds quite similar to the first season's though. The entire season might be about the tournament arc but I'm not too impressed at all by Ayato and Julis' opponents. Looks like they got the battle stuff on the way already so I'm glad they sped up the pacing. Those two twins has my interest so far.  |

| What im excited to see is, 1) Ayato/Julis vs Jielong twins 2) Saya/Kirin vs AR-D/RM-C 3) Ayato/Julis vs AR-D/RM-C The op pretty much pack with many spoilers, did i just saw the final gattai form of AR-D and RM-C against Ayato? Amazingly to see episode 1 was specially fast pace also. The announcer voiced by Aoi Yuki not bad at all. Just watched both raws(an early watch) and with subs(in HD), found some fault in the subs and the subs a bit lacking but not wrong at all. Can't complain because its free after all and japanese sometimes is hard to be translated. Is it just me or Flora's voice is weird =.=? her voice almost pierce my eardrum lol. |

| I hope, this tournament arc ends fast because i frankly don't really like it. Just show more of the generic tropes of this series. ED once again trumps the OP, but both are worse than 1st cour songs. |
| I'm excited to see the rest of the tournament and the new opening is quite good imo I hope Ayato finds a way to break the curse his sister put on him New Loli!!! :3  |

| I love the new OP and ED equally with the ones from S1 tbh Great return to the series this was for many reasons starting with with actual fight in itself I really appreciated that those martial arts guy decided not be cliche and actually went all out against Ayato and even tried to double team him.too regardless of his handicap.... We could have easily got the usual "Oh, I'm too honourable/kind to go all out against a weakened opponent, so I'll hold back and keep it 1v1 to make it fair which would inevitably be us throwing the match regardless" thing but nah people, we're not having that bullshit here But what I loved even more was the strategy that Ayato and Julis thought out and implemented and there really is no shame for those guys losing because they were clearly the better team, but alas, that strategy was well thought out and executed perfectly and I have to give Julis props for that at the very least I'm very hyped for those twins though =o Art and animation were great as usual with this series and the OST and the directing in this episode were good too imo....Loved seeing that quick summary of the other matches/intro to the other big teams |

| A great episode to return this series. I loved the strategy that Ayato and Julis used. It was smart and made sense. I love the new op. It might just be my favorite op of the year. Ed was good but i liked the first better. Hopefully we will see what happened to the sister soon. although she might be dead. I think that Flora might be one of the kids that Julis took care of at the orphanage. Cant wait for the next episode. |

| I actually really liked the OP and ED, though the 1st cour's were loads better, imo. I really liked the fight scene, especially the beginning of the fight looked fluid. Pretty exciting first episode. Looking forward to the rest |

| One of the better fights in the series, but overall it continues to be a sub-par show. |
| Really enjoyed the brief 2v1 Ayato had this episode, felt intense and was nicely animated. Looking forward to the next 4 fights as they were the best of the tournament, also enjoyed Fan Xinglou need more of her. Based on the OP seems like we'll go right before the Gryps which is what I expected, just hope Sylvia will be shown in all of her glory. |

| The new OP & ED songs are pretty good, but are definitely a step down compared to last season's. Sound aside, I'm glad their jumping straight into the action and not bothering doing some annoying recap. That said, I hope we don't spend the whole season in tournament mode, that'll get real old real quick. Lastly, someone needs to spank those twins, get ride of that annoying seal, and cut off those annoying hair side burn things on Ayato's head. I just can't take him seriously when it looks like he has basset hound ears. |

| Animation quality seems to have improved somewhat compared to the first cour, but would A-1 be able to stay consistent? OP & ED are pretty decent though. Also yes Claudia, I'm quite disappointed due to the lack of your screentime. >.< |

| you guys they adapted the fight soooo well it was near perfect tbh in terms of animation and the team work between julis and ayato AND ALSO JUST AS A SIDENOTE TO ANYONE WHO STILL THINKS JULIS AND AYATO ARE OVERPOWERED AFTER THAT: julis nearly had her ribs broken when luo nailed her with his staff. just a little trivia as they do take damage and they barely scraped by in that one. the op and ed are 10/10 again. i think the op animations a little messy tbh but its maybe because they dont actually want anyone to see any of the characters true fighting abilities. great start to the season WELCOME BACK JULIS. |

| The opening was good, didn't really like the ending but whatever. The episode was good, I liked how those guys went all out and now everyone knows the mc's secret. Looks like those twins are trouble, should be a fun match. |

| I think the first season's OP and ED were better, but maybe I'll get used to these ones. The animation for Ayato and Julis' fight was really good, it looks like a lot of effort was put into it. I'm interested in what those twins can do after hearing a little bit about them from the guys Julis and Ayato defeated. |

| OP is definitely better than the first season, I like it alot especially at the 35 second mark ED was good, but the 1st seasons ED is just million times better. Animation in this episode was pretty dope can't wait for more ^^ |

| Cool fight to start off the season. Not really feeling the OP sequence and song yet; the first cour's was just too godly. But the ED is not bad at all and they put effort into it. Hopes for this season: more Ayato x Julis |

| Ah, it's back again! Julis' strategy was pretty neat and the fight + teamwork was pretty good as well. And as always, great music again. Loving both the OP and ED, and their respective visuals and animation, though I probably prefer the previous ED, but I like this one as well. Good and interesting start. Can't wait to see more! |

Its still as boring as season 1, BUT...for the first time the battle was actually atleast a tiny bit exciting...it looks like the next fight might be something, but my hate towards this show makes me wonder if in even gonna be able to go any further than second episode...*sigh* |
