| I heard this show starts to get serious around the 20 episode mark.. I don't mind the comedy. Its a nice change from the previous 100 episodes of UC Gundam. |

| I think Mashymre is a nice character! He romanticizes everything and is very funny. To bad he's with Haman ): And WTF is Yazan? He was such a great villain, and now he sucks. Judau shows a lot of potential. I think he can become even better than Amuro or Kamille. |

If you don't absolutely hate ZZ's guts out for the 'awkwardness' and direction change, then you can expect there to be a few decent moments amongst all the weirdness. There'll also be a general tone-shift in the later half or so. Just don't expect another Zeta, or 0079. Keep your mind open, pace yoursself, and ZZ's not as bad as some people make it. |

| Judau finally seems to finally got over the Zeta's controls, that was the most fluid fighting I've seen yet in this series. These Neo Zeon guys are actually pretty smart they can actually avoid civilian casualties and not blow up the whole damn colony and thus not turn the entire fucking earth sphere against them like the Principality and the titans did. |
| Great episode! I'm pissed at that stupid mechanic trying to act like he knows how to use Zeta. Bright should have bright slapped that bitch. I'm glad Fa bright slapped Judau, but it should have been harder than that :P Serves that stupid Mayor of the colony. I'm pretty sure he was only able to get that mansion with all the back door deals he has done. Judau is getting better with Zeta. I like that :) Yeah Fa should have at least been capable of using Zeta. Don't really care for Yazan. They should have outright killed him instead of sparing him for this season. Oh well, can't wait for the next episode! |

| Why is Fa going with the Methuss when she knows it's the one suit that doesn't work? Why does she have to beg Aikido-kun to pilot the Zeta when she is (or at least used to be) a decent, albeit not great, pilot herself who could deal with fodders and greens like Marshmallow without too much trouble? Why is Bright unable to properly discipline one shitty brat who's prone to mood swings, but still trusts him with the Argama's safety? Why is Yazan so fucking pathetic? Is it the character development that you promised me, @ckan? |

| The tonal shift doesn't bother me too much (probably because I didn't take Zeta too seriously to begin with), but the fact that absolutely nothing has happened in the big picture for 6 episodes is quite annoying. Slow start, I suppose |
| Judau is a relatively carefree hero who will certainly learn to accept or take responsibilities later. "Mushyma" and Neo-Zeon have understood they should not álienate non-Zeon(ist) spacenoids, that's a good thing. I find the guy kind of cute: we rarely followed a pilot/soldier beginner in the opposite camp and his view, his mood are refreshing enough. His delusions are funny and the more flashbacks about Haaman I see the more I think he heavily romanticized her because I don't recognize the bold military leader I saw in Zeta (only the tactical cunning seems still there: not harming colonies, trying to get their support). I think he is here to stay based on the group "photo" in the opening end. But... is Fa turned into a joke? Why? Just a few days or weeks ago, she was perfectly able to do her share on the battlefield and now she takes even dumber decisions than in her first sorties, she has becomed unable to take down the small fry! (I even think she should be able to operate the Zeta to a certain extent) If this is her assigned role in ZZ, they should have let her in peace caring for Camille because I don't see the point in humiliating a character you took a year to develop before. I am not sure to understand the complaints about the slapstick or comedic elements in ZZ, right now it seems more like a side-dish or a joking interruption between "normal" scenes. It is not really disturbing. 3/5 The main problem still seems to be the rythm. We're at episode 6, Axis Zeon is reinforcing itself and in front of it there is... nothing except a damaged ship and his limited MS and crew. I want to know what the global situation is, how do leaders react now that the Terror reign is over and its conspirators dead? Who is taking the leadership? Will the Fed. forces be able to get over the mess they have been reduced to? But... that will probably be hidden behind a thick "battle of the week" format so I won't insist. The fact we're in the dark as much as Bright is an interesting thing on the other hand. December 4, 2016 @SakurasouBusters Yes, Fa is now officially "jarringly" bad (and the transformation took only a few weeks in term of broadcast). Either to make the most powerful Newtype ever shine in comparison or maybe to grant the watchers their wish, since so many people in Zeta's discussions criticized her as a terrible pilot (possible only if japanese watchers back then had the same mindset as the western Internet crowd). PS: about last episode vocabulary, you might want to change to another fansub group's work. I didn't notice such words in the english subtitled version I watched. | Above all other episodes, this was the one that truly killed Judau as a character for me. FUCK JUDAU!!! Also, fuck ZZ for not only having him, but continuing to make Fa look like a complete joke! She became pretty likable in the second half of Zeta and decently competent towards the end of it, so this is just a slap in the face. Also, quit making Yazan a joke. I want all of the new protagonists so far (minus Elle) to get corrected by Beigt and Wong so hard that Kamille's treatment would like like they were giving him candy! Fuck all of the new characters! They should all die! 1/5 |

| I actually really enjoyed this episode (and was a billion times better than the last episode) because I saw the potential this show has. It toned down the goofy shit and we saw the serious Gundam at times that we all know and love. I really enjoyed the battles in this.. but WTF is going on with Fa?!? I'm trying to like this show, but the complete crapping on her character from Zeta to ZZ is nonsense. A lot of knocking on Judau, but still like his attitude. He'll come around at some point.. and yes, we need a Bright bitch slap already. |

On a side note: I was on the impression that Yazan would already steal a mobile suit (a damaged one or the one that Gemon has) but so far he is relegated to a comedic role in this show… |

Yazan is now larping as a cowboy, I see. Anyway, this episode got more serious. Some predictions about the new characters: Iino, Elle - good (I also like their designs the most) Beecha - fine Mondo - meh It'd also be funny if Mashymre had false and heavily romanticized memories of Haman. |

| Yayyy Fa finally did something useful again! Maybe this means ZZ is done burying her? Won't be holding my breath tho. Still whatever you feel about the way Fa has been portrayed so far in this show....the way they turned the previously menacing Yazan into a complete joke is something else. xD |
