Interesting choice for them to use the 2.39:1 aspect ratio for this ONA. |

I believe she was shown a premonition of how she would die in battle if she chose to become a dragon dentist, but since she accepted it she was chosen by the dragon, while the others who couldn't accept their fates became the dragon's teeth. That aside, I think the animation itself is very nice, my only gripe is that the MC's voice doesn't seem to fit very well IMO. |

| this could work as a 11 episode anime, i like that the dragons teeth can give you hallucinations and if you let it get to you then you are gone lol, reminds me of the movie divergent |
| This was a pretty interesting watch, really great concept, nice art style, and alot more darker in tone than I was expecting when I 1st saw the promotional stuff, shame its only a 1 episode short |

| Story: Pretty nice story, it was a unique concept regarding dragons. I was only confused about that middle part with the soldier. Was it supposed to be a look in the future? Characters: Nothing special, the girl was the typical protagonist I'd say. Art & Animation: Art was not my cup of tea, the animation was nice. Sound: It fit the overall concept, but not too outstanding either. Enjoyment: I liked it, wouldn't mind this turning into a TV series :) |

This is why it ends with a joke with the girl being prevented from speaking her name; the film's over and it doesn't matter. |

| My best guess is that there is a deeper meaning behind the short and that the dragon is a metaphor for something. My best guess is that the dragon is a metaphor for War. Quite puzzled by: "Dragons cry through their teeth..." The people who could not accept their fates became the teeth. The tragedy of war is measured in the loss of life? I dunno, just guessing. |

Somebody already explained it but in case someone is still wondering Once inside the Dragon's tooth the Girl can see herself in the future as a Dragon Dentist (notice how she looks more mature). But she can also also see how she dies in duty. The Soldier says that she may run away but she doesn't and accepts her faith. This is how she got released of the tooth. The other apprentices did not accept their faith and stayed inside the teeth. |

| Was quite interesting and creative. The part where the girl sees her future was sad, but she was still willing to become a dragon dentist. She had the resolve to do it even with a negative future while the others didn't. Interesting that they end up become the dragon's teeth. |

| Great short. Would really liked to see full movie of this. The idea of her being dentist while crying teeths (and dragons' only weakness) are people brave enough to fight against their fate (and not accept it) is very interesting. And dentist is someone who look after them. I think that dragon is metaphor of nation with teeth being its soldiers and dentists are their loved ones that keeps them going. |

| With the last episode finally released I can now start marathoning these interesting looking shorts! This first was already very impressive, so I'm looking forward to see the others. |

| The dentist dragon is not bad as a short, very beautiful scenery and the drawings in general, nice soundtrack, the underlying message is important, I would say that in the time available to be able to tell us something this short. |

| Alright, this is off to one hell of a start. Hideaki Anno of Evangelion fame along with Kazuya Tsurumaki, who has worked with Anno on a number of projects, seemed to have headed this. I don't recognize the novelist Ōtarō Maijō, but I recognize Del Rey's Faust anthology which he seemed to have been featured prominently in, so that chalks up something else I'd need to check out in the future. With the work itself, I definitely see Lal'C from Diebuster in that girl, though obviously more bubbly. The anime itself is definitely Gainax-esque, but I can't really compare it to anything. It's certainly something I've never seen before in terms of scale, character occupation, and the lore which was barely touched upon, but due to the nature of the short, you're just swept along for the ride. Also, that creepy imagery of the dream sky undulating with dragons. Dang. |

| The art was beautiful and the sound was nice to the ears~ A military-styled world but with dragons. "A dragon cries with its teeth." I guess that whoever gets to touch a dragon's teeth will be thrown into a trial that decides whether they'll be able to accept fate and live another day or not. Those who fail are turned into teeth while the survivors are branded as Dragon Dentists, which is a pretty grim title now that I think of it. The story should've had more time to flesh out the story but the short was decent overall. |

| This is something I'd like to see get adapted into a feature film. Plot doesn't make a lot of sense, but that sorta pulls me into it. |
