| I think it's interesting the way culture's influence on the Zentradi soldiers is portrayed in this episode. It's almost like a drug. |
| The character designs were really off this ep -_- Which made Hikaru's returned obsession with Minmei all the more annoying. |

| Yeah, the animation and art was especially bad this episode. But, the story is still pretty good and, like previously mentioned, musics effect on the Zentradi is interesting for example, when the soldiers stopped from attacking Minmay and the people at the concert. |

XD I'm impressed at Kaifun for encouraging Minmay to continue singing but at the same time I'm still mightily annoyed by his statements. | This is one of those episodes where a lot of the animation was outsourced to another studio and boy does it show sometimes. If you use a tactic too many times, eventually the enemy will use it against you. |

| The bad animation crossed over to hilarious when Kaifun was like "Minmay looks gorgeous, even more than usual!" and then it cuts to the worst drawn shot of Minmay in the whole series. |

| Minmay has given Kaifu just about the same amount of encouragement as she has given Hikaru, and since she has given him some "movie kisses" as well, I think he actually is farther along the romance trail. Glad to see the spies have now become defectors, that protoculture is just too much to resist. Minor characters certainly don't have any plot armour in this show though, the civilian and enlisted casualties are high as always. |

| Yeah the quality was extremely bad this episode. Xotik's picture is a good example lol. It's nice that Hikaru found something to fight for even if it's Minmay. |
| I like how the slice of lifey moments in this show actaully have an effect on the big picture, unlike a lot of shows out there also i feel like im on the loosing ship :/ but im still misa x hikaru lmao and i have mixed feelings about kaifun... trying to keep everyone calm, but being an ass a lot of the time... i was on the losing ship on Macross Frontier as well lol: |

| Those spies XD It was totally expected that they would fast miss "culture". But I was surprised by how many people they turned over. Culture exportation is strongly effective. Also, they have micronization container big enough for their pods? o_O Also, congratulations to them, between disco dates, stealing and being homeless, they even gathered intel. 4/5 despite the return to bad drawings in force.  So, Kaifun must be behind Do you remember Love?'s scenario. XD No eyes Minmei looked like Ankoku Dragon Saint in Saint Seiya. XD (fitting for a face-to-face with "Shiryû") @St0rmblade Thanks for the song's reminder ! I knew I was missing one in my best-of ! |

| All those derpy faces in this episode lol. How cash-strapped do you have to be to not be able to even afford to draw a couple of irises? I guess Kaifun being reasonable a couple of episodes back was just him acting out of character after all. And how the hell did he survive after getting hit in the head by that heavy ass stage light? |

| I just saw this episode, the animation was very funny, I was like "ok they messsed up in this episode" XD In addition in some parts of the episode its unclear whats happening or why is whappening, I dont remember now what were those parts |

| Kaifun is going to have a pineapple salad, it seems. Kamujin got on board together with Hikaru, oh no "Love drifts away" was a good song, even though the drawings were meh in many cases. It seems that Minmay got changed into her chinese outlook during the boarding lmao. Was there even anybody watching? |

| Except Kaifun being Kaifun, an absolute idiot who wants to put her cousin in danger for his stupid anti-war ideology with no political analysis, it was a very cool episode and I llike how the story is going. It's still (kinda) less interesting than MSG in the writing and all but it's kinda cool |
