| Man, time flies in this show. 4 month time skip and they're about to go on Summer vacation. Never felt like they were much at school anyways since a lot of the events took place outside. With this episode, Kana also got to spend more time with Teruaki..kinda like a date. It was fun and cute imo. |

| Dating! It was a date! That was a nice misunderstanding. The shopping mall where Kaanaa and Teeruu went on a date together was San-A Gushikawa Main City. And, the bus stop was literally Kinwan stop. The bus route number 27 was also referred to as the real bus operated by Okinawa Bus.   |

| Today's episode was only good because of Kana and her reactions, the rest was just the usual, since Teru is such an idiot 😂😂. It's a shame, though, because Kana suffers from the same issue as Himari in Daikirai, where both of them end up outshining the main characters. |
| Another hilarious episode between the sneeze blessing/swearing, Teru thinking he's invited to places when he is not, and Kyan's grandma. Kana and Teru accidental little 'date' that comes from a misunderstanding was genuinely super cute. |
| Hey sneeze demon, eat sh!t. Yeah, that works for me, particularlly during Ashe juniper season. I prefer a guayabera to a kariyashi or a Hawaiian shirt Damn, Kanaa is down bad. But of course she will fail to speak up and go for it. By dumb misinterpretation luck, she gets an accidental date with her crush, and then blows multiple opportunities to speak up. Hell, she had "girlfriend" delivered to her on a platter by the saleman, just wrap your arm around his and say "I want to be". Then so many opportunities to say you enjoyed being with him and you want to enjoy yet more with him. Then seven days morning meets with him at the community center and with imouto Suzu adding to your draw, and you cannot say anything. Hate to say it to one of such overwhelming cuteness, but such cowardice deserves to lose, and transfer over to the Makeine anime. Not to mention that Hina's bubbling energy is rather infectious, and she is damn cute also. |

| If anything semsters tend to pass pretty quickly. Higa's just so adorable when she's flustered. The insight into Okinawan superstition though was interesting. The lets do this phrase must be pretty confusing for outsiders though. Though it was ad hoc im glad that Higa was able to spend some time with Teru alone. |

| Hina and Teruu are actually quite similar; energetic, game for anything, and dense as lead, lol! At least Kana had some quality time with him, even if it didn't go anywhere. |

| More than half the episode is about Kana and that's very satisfying, and yes the miscommunication in all cases brought a smile, great episode. |
| Big Higa episode, oh man the eating was good today. And it’s funny that this date with Higa happened because of that Okinawan “let’s go” misunderstanding that the episode started with, I knew immediately when Higa said that and got on the bus that Teruaki would be right there with her lol, also the way the narrator said “do you understand what just happened?” really got me the second time he said it. But yeah the Higa goodness was awesome, she was as red as a tomato for the majority of her time with Taruaki, her reaction to being seen as a couple was also golden, I absolutely loved that unfiltered voice acting of stuttering the word couple lol. But besides Higa being cute af, I found the Okinawan shirts bit really interesting, I didn’t realize one was considered formal wear but honestly hell yeah, I’d love to wear that kind of shirt to a meeting or something lol. And the 2nd half of the episode with the calisthenics was also fun, the kids saying “hmmm” was adorable, even Kyan was doing it when she talked to her grandma, and speaking of her grandma, the prize for finishing the stamp card ended up being sata andagii from her, poor Teruaki lol, but I imagine that’s one of those foods that old folks do the best so maybe he actually won more than he realized. Also nice ED1 returned, that one is my favorite of the three so I’m happy to hear it again. |

| The misunderstanding and miscommunication definitely worked in Kana's favour far more than she expected it to do, which made her trip to the local shopping mall with Teru to be a pretty fun one. I have to give credit to her VA for the way she did that looong stutter while trying to say the word" Couple". It was really cute! We also got a rare moment of Hina getting a bit embarrassed after greeting her grandmother and doing the same "Hmm" that the younger kids were saying towards Teru. The whole radio calisthenics segment of the episode was very enjoyable and the food that they were all treated to at the end looked very delicious. I want some now... |

This show continually makes Okinawa look like an entirely separate planet.
Firstly, EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY ON EARTH interprets “let’s go to the bathroom” as someone asking you to go to the bathroom with them, it is entirely ridiculous that people use it as a singular just in Okinawa.
Also, what’s the point in a bus service that’s always an hour late? A bus driver who was always an hour late would get fired for sure.
This series seems to only try and appeal to the Okinawan audience because from an outside perspective, this show is absolutely terribly written

Usually when you're sitting even with a stranger in a restaurant or small food stall, they usually said "Mari makan" (lit. let's eat) to you, tho it is obviously means that "Pardon, I will eat" or something along "I'm going eat first." So idk, Okinawan from my perspective is oddly looks like "Indonesia, but make it Japanese." | This is probably my favorite 'misunderstanding' gag from all the animes I've watched. Which isn't a lot but this scene is a mainstay gag, it's done well here. Probably because it's a plausible misunderstanding that can happen. |
| The okinawan culture in this episode is really nice tbh, the nice language switch ups and the character relationships and the variants of culture make for some really wholesome moments. Kana is a really cool character tho i prefer her over Kyan/hina because the dynamic is just better between Nakamura and Kana. Cool episode. |
| This episode was pretty damn funny. Kana is so cute. and huh their whole thing about sneezing is oddly similar to the origin of why over here in the US some say "bless you" when you sneeze. It was way back believed when you sneeze your soul leaves your body making it vulnerable to possession so you'd bless them as a protection. Though the Okinawan version is funnier. I wonder if it came from the West or somehow emerged on it's own. |
