| Ranma is never getting peace in this show LOL. Now Shampoo wants to be his wife due to the conditions of her loss. So yeah, another love rival enters. Compared to others, Shampoo seems to be even more aggressive. I think this anime just loves some spicy drama. |

| Shampoo and Akane is such a generational best girl competition lol. Takahashi sensei knows how to write em. But they did my girl Akane dirty today, cause how you gonna show up out of nowhere, basically cuck her AND try to steal her pet too 😭 I do not blame Akane at all for being upset because damn girl at least have some respect for the house you’re in. I think it’s hilarious that the Amazon tribe kills women who beat them and marries the man lmao. It makes Ranma’s sex change scenes that much more hilarious because Shampoo goes from simping for Ranma to trying to kill him on a dime, and she clearly knows they’re the same person at this point lol Ranma was on the verge of folding with how straightforward and bold Shampoo was in this one. He’s talking about Akane not being straightforward, but he’s just as bad. seeing both of them struggle to admit that they’re jealous was so cute. Especially that scene where they’re walking to school. I love them sm Poor Ryoga going thru it too. Wanting to be taken seriously but doomed to just be P chan forever lmao. Poor fella I thought we were gonna get some yuri with that Shampoo and Akane kiss but nope another kiss of death! There was only ever going to be one way this could end, with the girls fighting but holy shit that ending! Akane amnesia arc reminds me of Urusei Yatsura episode where lum lost her memory and it made Ataru appreciate her more. Let’s see if Ranma has the same development! |

| Tokio Igarashi's SB DEBUT. And, what a great debut on top of that. A beautiful episode with gorgeous direction and storyboards. RAHHHHH!!! I've been looking forward to this day for a long time now. Finally. Young and upcoming rising star of MAPPA. Uda-san praised him for today's episode as well. So much potential. As for the episode, the episode was once again so much fun. Shampoo is so cute but at the same time, so chaotic. She loves Boy Ranma and wants to kill Girl Ranma. LOL. Akane being jealous of those two was totally understandable and very cute. She loves Ranma even tho she doesn't express those feelings to him. P-Chan bit was hilarious as well. But, the Akane vs Shampoo part was intense and Ranma being desperate in that situation was so touching. He cares about her just as much. And... what's that? Amnesia? It was such an amazing episode throughout. Igarashi Tokio. I will be looking forward to your future works as well. 10/10 debut SB for the episode. |

| Wow. Mappa is animating Shampoo beautifully and very cutely. It's like the animation budget suddenly went up. Akane finally has some real competition. And I love how Shampoo wants to marry male Ranma but kill female Ranma lmao. Lmao. Ranma got caught with Shampoo red-handed. I guess it's Amazon law for the women to sleep with their "husbands" before marriage too? But Akane doesn't want to understand that lol. Also, it's hilarious how both of Ryoga's inner voices are evil. What's crazier is Shampoo cooking P-chan like a meal. It's like Ranma's insult came full circle. Akane is now getting her own amnesia arc. Sweet. The next episode will be the last episode of the cour/season. I wonder if the second cour will start next season. They still didn't say anything about how many episodes this series will have in total. I guess they'll announce it next week. |
| Akane can't help feeling jealous with someone like Shampoo around. She brings the worst in her. And these feelings are mutual. Here we go with the amnesia plo line. I love that Shampoo can be such a menace, but she didn't have to violate Ryouga like that 😂 When being P-Chan can be blessing and curse. |

| These last 2 episodes were wild with the introduction of Shampoo, the Chinese Amazonian chasing both versions of Ranma after defeating her. The girl one is set for death while the boy one is set for marriage, soemthing that has truly made Akane upset. Ryouga with all of this can have at least some respect for himself to see that Akane isn't interested in him but that backfired into making Akane Shapoo's next prey. Now she has... amnesia? Can't wait for the next one. |

Naturally, Akane gets back at Ranma with water, making him the girl Shampoo pledged to kill. Ryoga, still pining for Akane gets caught by Shampoo who makes him into bento for Ranma. Messing with both Ranma and P-Chan, Shampoo and Akane's rivalry is sealed with another of death! Ranma, believing Akane couldn't take Shampoo on, rushes to find her. He'd be right, Shampoo's attacks have left Akane with amnesia. |

It's a good thing Shampoo didn't try to prepare P-chan any other way. That could have been bad. Though really, who tries to feed a whole live unconscious baby pig to their fiance? That's just weird.

| First episode after I finished the original 161 episode anime, got some OVAs and technically a 3rd movie to go but I’m done with the TV anime. And damn this one really beamed the memories back in my head, this whole Shampoo introductory arc is coming back to me, and man did they make it funny af in the remake, the amount of times someone got hit in this episode with the loud sound effects, I’m weak to this form of comedy that Tom & Jerry ingrained in me lol. And they made the Shampoo scenes look very nice too, that first “Wo ai ni” was great. And man Akane can get ANGRY angry, you could feel it through the screen lol, it makes sense that she stood her ground to Shampoo at the end of the episode, it’s just unfortunate she got whooped and has now lost her memory, I’m really looking forward to seeing how they do the rest of this arc before the end of the first cour, because I’m guessing we aren’t stopping here right lol. |
| I was trying to remember why I was in the very minority on disliking Shampoo in the original anime, which I first watched when I was little. Now I remember. She gave me a near heart attack as a child, thinking along with Ranma that Akane was seriously injured or worse. I felt myself tearing up again like I did way back then and it hit me why exactly I disliked Shampoo long ago. I don't hate her now as an adult, I just didn't like her back then cause my feeble child mind thought Akane was killed by Shampoo for that split moment. I'm glad i've finally found the root cause of my previous strife with the character and can put that under the rug to enjoy Shampoo's addition to the show a lot more now that i've had years to grow up. Honestly her character is much better than I remember and that's a good thing especially since it's only been an episode since she was introduced. Can't wait for next episode as we learn more of what Shampoo did to make Akane forget Ranma.  |

The only thing the Remake needs to do is NOT spam multiple filler episodes with the same plot with that character unlike the OG anime. If they do that the remake version will become much more tolerable than the original. Since the remake follows the manga and has basically zero filler, they're not gonna make the same mistakes again. |

| Chinese people (except in Apothecary Dairies) always bad news. How's that marriage even gonna work with such extremes. Bro stay away from your potential murderer not get smitten😭😭. And she also P-chan almost became food for second time. I expected craps(it's still funny tho)like this but Akane got done dirty in this episode. Atleast make her win the fight but no lose badly and lose memories. Maybe Ryouga x Akane is better all along. |

| "i can't read chinese" and didn't notice the translation. Great job, Soun. But unironically great that he already turned into the monster giant face version of himself. Yeah, the Ranma-esque dummy has returned and Akane is destroying him. Also laughed at his damaged face used as a scene transition. Goddamn it, girl Ranma dragged Ryoga into the water and he almost got caught by his crush... but instead Ranma was the clear loser, getting slapped by her and chased by Shampoo. Kasumi smiling in front of the house destruction brought by Shampoo because Akane dangerously turned Ranma into girl form while "he" was sleeping... priceless. Didn't expect at all angel vs devil Ryoga, but remembered how P-Chan caused another death kiss with Shampoo and someone else. Intense ending, even if... no, taking it back, the episode didn't end abruptly like i was predicting, there's still some small time to introduce the amnesia arc. |
