@MonstroGH 2- cour Action Fantasy Shounen I have got the anime for you Dororo
or if you are feeling adventurous and are looking for a different action fantasy anime I would recommend this Chinese anime Douluo Dalu

I currently have an anime watching challenge on the go and need a short action anime for it, so would loved to be recommended something like that

@AkeZZZ

Based on your profile you like idols and anime with mainly girl characters, but you have technically watched everything.

But I think you may like this one: Houseki no Kuni

I would like something short, preferably a movie. I cant watch gore and horror, anything else is fine.

I noticed that you like to watch anime from all areas of the spectrum, so to help broaden your horizons I think you should check out Hermes: Ai wa Kaze no Gotoku

It's the kind of movie that you can enjoy because of how wild it can get, in spite of its undertones.

@chibiandreea I might not be even qualified to suggest having one of the lowest numbers of anime watched in this thread.

Anyway, I hope you give Majo no Tabitabi a try, if you haven't read or watched it. It's one of my favorites, and while it looks like an innocent adventure-type, coming-of-age journey, there are always deeper, sometimes darker meaning behind Elaina's encounters which might interest you.

@matemasu Your taste in anime is quite diverse. Let me recommend Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, that is if you are okay with romcom, drama and just a teeny tiny bit of fanservice.

I noticed your recommendation to Yayako & immediately thought of Hayate no Gotoku which features all the KugiRie blonde-twintail-tsundere goodness you could want :D
Seeing that you've enjoyed Lucky Star from the same year, the parody style humor should be relatively familiar, while also packing enough action & crazy antics to keep you amused.

Also watch Tari Tari, it's a character-driven music anime of which you have several well-rated titles of, but more importantly, it has a twintailed mc voiced by Hayamin & she rides a horse too if that matters...I hope you like horses :')

Hey there! I noticed you like Action shows quite a bit, plus some of your high rated shows are politics/diplomacy related so I want to recommend Kidou Senshi Gundam 00 (https://myanimelist.net/anime/2581/) which I really like. We seem to have quite the high affinity and it's one of the action shows I really love.

You can jump right into it since it doesn't require previous Gundam knowledge (unless you'd like to watch other ones before it, ofc).

Hope you enjoy!

@AnimeDxn I might have chosen something a little different for you. Since you've seen shows like Cowboy Be-bop and Spice & Wolf I thought that you might be into "classics" with both focus on soundtrack and character development. The anime I chose as my recommendation to you is Sakamichi no Apollon/Kids on the Slope. If it doesn't suit your taste then I could try to find something else. For example, I see that you don't have for example Clannad in your list; which could fit together with your slice of life/drama/romance anime (especially the after story, which is what most people regard as almost a must watch).

@YuukiTheFlash I know you like voice actors a lot. You also have a really long list. And you also seem to like cute girls, like Kaori-chan, or Rem-chan. That's why I decided to recommend you one of my favourite highschool love stories, actually may be the best I ever watched. It's called School Days, but don't judge it too early. Hello! It was hard finding one that you didn't have in your plan to watch already, but I ended up finding a couple!

The first recommendation is Katanagatari, it is an anime that focuses on style with its artstyle and animation with rather long episodes which makes it feel like you're watching small short films. The closest comparison to something you've seen would be Jigokuraku.

The next recommendation is Kokoro Connect, which is a drama comedy anime that focuses more on the characters and how they develop and get closer during it.

Hope you will like them!

I would recommend Ao no Exorcist to you, it have similarity in a way of fighting evil, having unstable power at first, slowly getting friends, other characters have story.

@Orsisa

Since you have low watched anime compared to others I will recommend something, it seem you like Fantasy & Comedy so I would recommend to you Hoozuki no Reitetsu, it's light anime to watch, episodic & funny in it's own way -sorry I didn't know what to recommend based on your fav anime- so I did it genre wise

---

Hope both you enjoy the recommendation.

---

I'm trying to get back into Anime again, I'm looking for something SOL -like: Barakamon, Natsume Yuujinchou, Mushishi
or Action to binge watch -like: Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, World Trigger, Black Clover

Check the all category and scroll down to the bottom (to let it load all of them), or use the search function. Using the "shared" anime function works too.

Hey @mega6382 !

Looking through your profile, your header immediately caught my attention. I'm on Linux as I write (Arch Linux, specifically ^^) so I appreciated seeing all the dev, code, and OS stuff.

I'm going to recommend Serial Experiments Lain for that reason. The best way I can describe it is if the spirit of Linux/hacking had an anime, it would be Lain. Lain is a standard as far as avant-garde anime goes. Themes of technology and the Internet permeate throughout; be mindful of when the show came out and how much it predicted. I will just leave the rest to you if you end up watching it and feel free to hit me up if you do!

Hi! I checked out your anime list and I believe I have some things that you may enjoy. They are more recent compared to what you have in your favorites, but I hope they tickle your fancy.

Shinsekai Yori:
It's probably what I consider the most in line with your favorites. It's quite provocative and while it is a slow burner, discovering what it really is about is what makes it so engaging.

Shuumatsu Shoujo Ryokou:
If you want a more laid back experience on a terrible reality, I'd say this is a good pick. It has a rather humorous take on such a setting with some food for thought.

Hibike! Euphonium - Drama / music themes / female lead (girl gang)
Youjo Senki - Action / female lead / military themes

I see you have liked shows with strong female leads with action and a bit of romance (Spice & Wolf and Apothecary Diaries for example) so I think you'll like Akatsuki no Yona!!!!

Very good story and well written characters, with a great female lead and amazing action and world building. The romance is also very wholesome well done and paced to not disrupt!!

You should also check out the manga since despite the adaptation being pretty good it doesn't compare imo with how good the art and manga truly are!! (plus it is not fully adapted and the manga is close to ending aswell)
