| Oh boy, now Helck has to deal with Rafaed, another major threat in the story and their world. Honestly feels like he's been a target by all the strongest characters in the series from the start. Rafaed is obviously no pushover as the episode presented him as a credible threat. Vermilio also looked very fired up to face this challenge. |

| Finally we're back to Helck and Vermilio. The army of Rafaed attacks the demon tribe's frontline base. Vermilio and Helck appear on the scene. Despite Rafaed's plea to cease resistance, Helck declares once again that he will destroy humanity. Rafaed perceives Vermilio as Helck's new emotional support and attacks her, but Vermilio retaliates with overwhelming magical power. In the midst of the back-and-forth battle, someone shoots an arrow at Helck. It's getting pretty intense, and I'm genuinely curious about how Helck will respond to Alicia. Is he going to react the way we expect, or has his resolve grown stronger? Rafaed is a bit of a puzzle; in Helck's flashbacks, he seemed like a decent person. What led him to team up with Mikaros and his plan? Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how amazing Vermilio looked in this episode? The flames and her movements were just beautiful. Helck is about to have a showdown with Alicia, and I'm so pumped for the finale next week. |

Using Alicia as the ultimate weapon against Helck is such a low blow. Vermirio is really going to be the X factor in this one. It’s clear that Raphaed didn’t count on Helck having someone with him who could keep him grounded. When you think about all the people he’s lost it’s no wonder he’d be so cautious with Vemirio, but she’s as strong as they come so he can just focus on his fight. Very hype for the finale next week. Going to be an emotional one I can already tell. If I can’t see Mikaros fall next week, hopefully I can see Raphaed get his ass beat |

| Finally, the return of the 'Bakaaa' haha! A fun little moment in a pretty serious episode. The villains seem very powerful and very sure of themselves in this story but... some hope clearly starting to grow in the heart of our heroes. Last episode looks like a banger! |

| One more fucking episode to go... It's been a while since I've seen a two cour series that drags like Helck, slow as molasses this one.... Wouldn't mind it as much if it was more engaging or intriguing. 6/10 show, and to think a lot of people hold the source material in high regard, wow. Did they really fumble this show or is this what it is? |
| I have a feeling that this show is going to end on a cliffhanger with just one episode left. Hopefully this show will get a second season soon. |

| Damn it! I was enjoying this episode until it suddenly ended and got another cliffhanger that's about the same as the last episode's. There's no way we're going to get good closure with 1 episode remaining. I don't mind the slow pace this series has had but not at the expense of not having a good ending. If When a season 2 is announced then I'll feel better but for now I'm a bit apprehensive. |
| At least we are back with present-day Helck and Vermilio, which has consistently been my favorite group and timeline of the show to follow. However, one thing that's still a nagging concern bothering me with a certain aspect of this series, and it's not particular to this episode so I'm not singling it out (this is just as good of a place to put the comment as anywhere else), is what exactly the motive is of the main villains? The king is still shrouded in mystery and we know very little about him. For all we know, he could be a robot or remotely-operated machine someone is controlling with a device from elsewhere, like the man behind the curtain controlling the "Wizard" figure in The Wizard of Oz. He could be a zombie or some form of reanimated corpse barely kept alive like Cless, but with no consciousness and brain function besides maintaining his heart rate and vitals. He could be a regular alive flesh and blood person but with no will of his own for whatever reason. We simply don't know. But considering he's a silent figure behind a mask I don't find this too much of an issue. I'm more confused/concerned with why Mikaros and Raphaed's motives aren't better explained and explored. Why are they doing all this? We see from the earlier episode that with Mikaros it's essentially that he once feared Azudra many years ago and that inspired him to embark on a quest to seek power. But why destroy the world (including the human world, which can only be interpreted as functionally destroyed if the intelligence and personality of almost all living humans is obliterated and they become basically zombie beasts)? It's said to be to usher in a transition to bring about the "New World" and the power of the "New World", but just like when "New World lifeforms" are mentioned by the other characters, some of the demons, earlier in the series, what that New World is and represents still isn't explained or even really touched upon. And Raphaed? Why does he want to destroy the world? It seems pointless. Pointless for him personally and in general. Because it's not just making war on the demon empire. If he and his daughter are both humans, then why would he want to annihilate all other humans and human society? I can accept a deep-seated political or other philosophical, ideological motive. Or, alternatively, an extremely personal base simplistic one based on vengeance, jealousy, fear, love, hate, etc. But they haven't gotten into any of that. That dereliction of exploration or characterization (at least up to now) leaves it up to assumptions and head canon to shoulder the burden, because drawing the conclusion that "It's just because they can!" or "Just because they're bad/evil!" is just too cartoonish. Even the most basic villains usually have some form of understandable motive, however limited or unpopular in garnering sympathy. |

| @xdiesp Here's hoping for a second season in the second half of 2024 but hey, 2025 would be fine too for me, I just want to see more animated Helck! @WatchTillTandava Everything that's nagging you will be clarified in the next (and final?) season. There are still five more volumes of the comic to adapt (out of twelve) and that's why you might feel that many story elements feel amiss. |

| Things are going badly for all the demons this week. Then Helck and Anne join the fray, with Anne managing to yell "Bakaaa!" at Helck for worrying that she might die easily. Unfortunately I think that latest angel might be Alicia. Will Helck have the guts to actually take her on, and try kill her? |

| Vamilio's search party goes out to her, Helck and Piwi, though they are still far from where they are back to the Demon Realm. But regarding the Human King, only both her and Helck are able to stand up to the heft when it comes to the crunch of defeating the Human Realm's Winged soldiers, Mikaros and eventually the Human King himself. The nearby quarters where the Demon Realm kins were residing at, the message from Roufe that winged knights are attacking their base, it was completely out of left field, and in huge numbers to speak, because their target is Helck, and preparations have been underway. But no matter the challenge, both Helck and Vermilio can stand together. Most certainly, Mikaros dealing with Helck only shows how propelled he is to find him, which Raphaed has to circumvent before he reaches their location, with a secret weapon to boot. And there the latter met both Helck and Vermilio to issue him his last warning that the hope of both humans and demons living together will not come to pass. Regardless, Helck will fight for the demons to destroy all humans, with Vermilio as support that she, like Azudra, is no mere simpleton of a demon lord. But the new enemy that Raphaed recruited, it's Helck's former comrade Alicia. The battle against past and current partners. There's just no way that this show will be done by this season alone... |

| It's been forever since Vermilio let out one of her signature fiery "BAKAAAAA!" shouts and I'm glad she delivered. Also, we need more Piwi and Harpey scenes. |

| takes almost 2.5 minutes just to start an episode with info we already know. 23 fricking episodes and still...nothing. half a dozen spent sitting on an island. this show started off as a banger and has become my greatest disappointment. not because i don't care for the show or the characters, but because every epsiode feels like it spends most of my time as a waste and then 4 minutes that are actually decent. |

| Ayy it's been a long time when i heard Vamirio saying her trademark word, baka. Idk why its sounds great here considering she's on battle mode so there's no doubt the mood is perfect to say something humiliating from her. Please, just step me already 🧎 Raphaed-san yo how lucky you are having in heated fight with her smh... Well anyway, even if the visual still keeps its inferiority with more and more less animation even at battle scenes, its all decent. Mikaros truly a hardcore fan of Azurora. He even copied Azu stalking spell lmao. Really hope Azu escaped from the end fate. But considering Mikaros said about Edil failure, there's a high chance. Tho i don't quite understand how they can stop all the peak session in one last episode. But yeah, let's just see the final episode, then... |

| Helck and Vami camping out, but they have no idea what just happened in other places. They only know they were told to head toward the Human King. And yea... Sadge to be Helck... his current friends are dying one by one, and his old friends are all enemies that he must kill... (all of the "demon lord candidates" we saw at the beginning have been shown to be dead, all of Helck's friends are turn into monsters, the strong ones are all Mind Break and also turn into Monsters... at this point, there are only a couple of Helck's friends including Vami that's still alive and isn't Helck's enemy...) At this point, I think Helck should just go Hulk mode and embrace his rage, LOL. (literally the Hulk... the angrier Helck is, the stronger he becomes...) . Also, LOL @ the BAKKKAAAAA, out of no where. |
