| Surprisingly good episode. I really like Giselle's character. Charlotte drawing comparison to Giselle when he said they weren't too unalike was a great subtle dig at her "cross-dressing" that I don't remember in the manga. I think they could have explained how Bambietta is weakened as a zombie, otherwise Charlotte seems oddly overpowered. I also think they should have kept some of Orihime, Ichigo, and Chad's banter in the cannon. Like why is Orihime dressed like that? And why isn't Ichigo responding to his 17 year old friend's humungous melons flopping around? Otherwise good episode. 7/10. |

This is why Kubo is based, and he respects his own work. A stark contrast to how other shounen mangaka like Oda and Fujimoto deal with this topic. It's too bad Pierrot had to tone down his genuinely funny sense of humor, but it takes bravery to even refrain from censoring the whole thing. Bravo.

| @IHateMidPiece Agree, not only that but Kubo was ahead of his time with the trend before it became a hot topic. Its not censored depending on which translation/recording you watch, they did two voice recording. If you download the JP television version you get the full line that was in the manga, however Disney+ and Hulu had a different recorded line for western audience. Its probably getting fixed when the blu-ray comes out where we get the right translation. |

| The arrancars returned ! Now I am excited to see the espadas return if any are alive except Grimmjow. The rest of the episode was fantastic, got to see the action with Kurotsuchi and now gonna see how are they going to bring Toshiro back from a zombie to a soul reaper. |

| This episode was a bit bland, but so it was the same chapter of the manga. The powerscaling here is a mess too with a lame former 6th Espada, with Charlotte (a Numeròs killed by a Lieutenant level at best, Yumichika) kicking the ass of Bambietta, a Sternritter who previously fucked up Captain level fighters (Hirako, Komamura had to do the heart sacrifice to become powerful enough to beat her). I know there's the blahblah of the zombies etc still Bambietta was like 100 times stronger than Charlotte etc etc. Next episode is going to be cooler, I think. 3 out of 5 |

| I kinda had the impression Disney+ would not let that quote from Yumichika go without being substituted by something else LOL I've already seen a crybaby critic at ANN calling it transphobic (not even a trans character, and yeah, they only put Giselle as a "girl" part of the Bambis in the character sheet at the official site not to ruin the twist, they actually modified it right after the episode aired), and unless the guy watched the Japanese airing, I can only imagine the scandal if he saw the actual quote heh Then again we are talking about ANN there, anything trans related will get them very defensive, I myself now have to be verified by mods whenever I post there, for daring to explain why the Guilty Gear retcon with a certain blondie crossdresser was poorly-planned bullshit in an overview. That being said, thankfully, people seem not to be caring to much about that even on Twitter, so... (I guess we are more occupied witch-hunting the kids that are harassing the animators, I've seen a couple of them go private already hue) Cool episode and solid adaptation, Mayuri always steal the show when he comes by. The thing with the Arrancars is pretty fun, some hundreds of episodes/chapters ago in the anime/manga, they show him finding Szayelaporro Granz's lab with the corpses. Flashforward to now (they even made the courtesy of giving us handy flashbacks from the old anime from that part), and we have zombified Arrancars, which happen to be toxin to Quincies. Result is that even the comic relief one actually manage to incapacitate Zombie Bambietta with a cero blast, pretty fun stuff. Gotta say though, what a painfully cruel cliffhanger for anime onlies to end at Zombified Toshiro LMAO We also suffered and went crazy about that one back during serialization. |

| @Patrik_L The Arrancar beating a bunch of no-name zombified fodder characters, Bazz-B attacking Renji, and Bambietta blowing things up constitutes "good fights"? Are you really saying that all the other Sternritter fights so far that actually had proper conclusions were worse than these skirmishes...? Also this might be slightly off-topic, but I started thinking about it after seeing the Visoreds again in this episode; why hasn't Ichigo used his Hollow mask in this arc? I asked a similar question about Shinji, Rose and Kensei a few weeks ago, but since the mask was Ichigo's main power up in the Arrancar arc, it's a lot more noticeable that it's been absent recently. |

| To me Bambi-san fate is much more cruel because she brought back to life as the zombie, do Gigi work and at the same time get brutal assault from him everytime she wants Blood to stay her sense before going insane. While alive she proud tough and sadistic, after become a Zombie she is scared because she knows what death is like and doesn't want to die. Still love Bambi-san so much because she is one of my favorite Quincy girl.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Besides that... Damn it! They remove the best scene and cute moment for Ichigo x Orihime.🥶🥶🥶😱😱😱😱😖 |

| Damn ngl Mayuri has been cooking pretty hard this season, he cracked that the Quincies were actually stealing Bankai's and not sealing, foresaw that the Quincies real goal was the Royal Palace and built the cannon and managed to revive the dead as extra combatants to fight. Now he's personally entering the battlefield which i'm kinda hyped for, but zombie Toshiro actually shook me. It's really cool and kinda nostalgic to see the old arrancar enemies return. They weren't as iconic as the espada, but in their own way they had their place in the stories with their fights. Also hearing Charlotte's cero charge up again gave me a good laugh, just like it did the first time i heard it lol. Wait so Giselle is actually a dude huh, that reveal gave me hella whiplash, i did not expect that. So to zombify Quincies he has to fully kill them unlike Soul Reapers? So, he straight up killed Bambia instead of healing her just to zombify her? Ngl i ain't digging the Quincies so far, but even still that shit sounds hella morbid for an enemy to do to their own ally. Compared to an episode ago, i still think Giselle is funny with the personality but what he did to Bambi was really grim and i'm not really vibing with, i thought the two were like friends or smthing damn. |
