| I'm starting to think Kisara has those weird mood swings practically every episode. She really has an obsession towards Shuu. Ayano and her angry face also makes a return and honestly, I'm not even surprised at all. They decided to give her some fan service during that gym scene. Seems like the episode had another one of those fancy party setting. I don't like that Mikhail guy tbh...personality way too forced for his character. |

Less action than last week but the character interactions today were even better. Kisara and Ayano rivalry is so good. Love how angry Ayano got when Kisara uploaded that pic lol. Story wise we’re picking up a bit too, the organisation is clearly hiding something from Shu and isn’t quite what they’re made out to be. Given Shu didn’t recognise Miles daughter name and seemingly doesn’t have much memory of his family I wonder if he was brainwashed or something op and ED both slap! Please keep this up A-1 |

| The OP and ED were good. A1 pictures is really nailing it with animation this season and both of their original animes are good so far. This chapter was good, and there was some fan service and poor of them who are still as poor as ever |

| I'd never thought that halca's OP can be this good, but hell, IS IT FABULOUS. Akari Nanawo's ED is good as well. Kisara is the same demon yandere girl that can be overly possessive of Shu, but with their recent job that only inputs salary much later in the month, it's beansprouts to eat, and secret side jobs for some income. Masataka "Mikhail" Hachisuka definitely is the person whom I can reconnect having SaeKano vibes, and also, Ayano's jiggly boobs in her gym time...heh heh, I see what you did there A-1. But Shu being as inefficient as ever and constantly looking to Ayano for help, and most certainly that 1 loyal follower of Kisara's, we now know who it is. Story-wise, the Demon Possession part is slowly picking up, and both Shu's and Ayano's ventures are definitely thr cost-cutting measure that's easy to handle Demon Hazards. The formation of Bayron City by deception and a land of devastation, it just takes sweet words to convince people that the city is a paradise, a paradise that the stark truth going for it: has demons hidden amongst them. One thing's for sure, this anime is very balls-off-the-wall at what it does, and the formula proceeding thereafter will be one of insanity and the answers in a "filling the blanks" rhetoric. |

| Wonder when ayano actually isn't either serious or constantly annoyed. Apart from her I just love everything about the series so far especially kisara, we already seeing glimpses of shuu's past which doesn't seem that happy. Also there is clearly more to the demon hazards and bayron city which seems to set up an interesting conflict where shuu & kisara probably have to choose a side sooner or later. I am hyped for what's to come, also love both OP and ED, animation quality overal is still great. |
| Yeah, I think I have a thing for the crazy ones because I love Kisara haha. Declaring herself Shu's "secret girlfriend", taking that photo of them when he's asleep, and talking about him to her friends like he's some abusive deadbeat was all pretty hilarious. The bean sprouts actually looked pretty good too ngl haha. I guess Shu's gonna be eating 'em for awhile after this job. Kisara could have gotten 'em leftovers if the mayor's idiot son didn't show up! Dude reminds me of Sekke from Black Clover lol. I really liked the part when Shu and Kisara were discussing whether or not they should buy that device all while the demon was ranting at them lol. For two people who aren't a couple, they sure act like one sometimes hah. Best part of the ep though has to be seeing my girl Ayano in the gym. Nice bit of fan service never hurt nobody. Good lord the girl is stacked! lmao. |
| Kisara and Ayano are pretty good but the MC is still trash in my eyes. Nobody would stay with a guy like that IRL. lol Poor demon dude got ignored...I felt really bad for him, then the car got him. oof He will be experimented on most likely so his fate sucks. |
| Great episode! Kisara is looking to get a part time job because of Shuu's poor financial state and the prince Hachisuka's offer of help was ignored xD. Despite his wealthiness and looks, his personality is enough to be disliked by what seems to be every girl in school lol. Shuu on the other hand asks Ayano for uelp to which shs agrees. But Kisara sends the picture she took when Shuu was sleeping so she walks off! OP is great by the way! The anti demon buraeu are acting as security for an event. Kisara was about to put the food on display in a container hidden in her clothes but was interrupted by Hachisuka... The mayor was saved by Kisara's quico actions! The animation in this show has been very good so far! A-1 have done a fantastic job! They had to use todays payment for the express delivery of equipment to capture him alive! 'Kisara. I love your bean sprout cooking!' Looking forward to the next episode! |

| the plot thickens so the city has the usual late stage capitalism where socioeconomic inequality is a big problem that causes a lot of corruption and crimes eh plus the whole family of Shu was murdered and was covered up for some reason by the government that is giving him jobs right now |

| Good for Ayano doing exercise, one have to keep oneself bouncy healthy. It is very noticeable that Kisara likes social media, even posting a pic with Shu on there while saying that they are "living together", poor Ayano got angry and with reason althought I still don't get what they see on this guy to fight for him. The blonde guy is lame and probably takes the trope of the student council being above the government too seriously or something, good that he got ignored so hard. In the party they found another one of those demons that also said some interesting stuff, we also learn a little more of Shu's past, I was kinda expecting that that happened to him tho. This anime doesn't take their battle scenes too seriously huh? Oh well, as long as it isn't very silly it must be ok, but I saw the joke of truck-kun hitting the second Shu pushed the "buy" button. |

| Kisara's affection towards Shuu is not just love, she's obsessed. Anyway, I love how they can joke about their financial state and it just makes the episode funnier. The fight was aight until the end where Truck-kun spawned out of nowhere and shitted on him. |

| So, I don't know if I am just perverted or not but that first scene had me thinking Kisara was going to do something a lot worse to Shuu than just take a photo while hes sleeping Ayano shooting off her dress so she could run was honestly really badass. She could have just ripped it and tore it off but instead she decided to shoot it off. What was Mr. Public Servant doing? Why was he pretending to play with that cat from the video from what it looked like. Shuu recognizing the work of public servants! Does anyone know Where can I get express shipping like Shuu god damn literally within seconds of ordering something I arrives, and apparently don't care much about hitting and running over people. Now that's the kind of service I would play for! I'm really surprised they allowed this episode to air so soon after Shinzo Abe's assassination. Such a tragedy what happened whether or not you agree with his politics. May he rest in Peace. |

| Very nice episodes Ayano grew on me a lot in this one, already liked her from episode 1 but her interactions with Shu in this one raised her a bit for me, and of course that exercise bike scene was great fanservice, as well as when she ripped the bottom of that dress lol, and that disgusted expression was a great addition too. Safe to say she’s my new favorite blue haired waifu lol. And the politics seem divided in this city too, with the mayor making claims that aren’t entirely true and demons out to assassinate him, it definitely looks bad lol, the mayor’s son is fun tho. And man that’s some good package delivery lol, the power of Amazon is incredible, and that scene where Shu pressed the purchase button and Kisara’s reaction was great lol. And wow both the OP and ED were really nice, the songs were immediate bangers and great visuals as well, and this thread confirmed for me that the ED is by the same artist of the ED for “Idaten Dieties” last Summer season, I knew she sounded familiar, awesome to hear her again. |

| Actually starting to be some interesting story elements, with the "intelligent" demon and the hints at Shuu's past. It certainly makes it more than a straight out "Demons bad!" plot, and it's always interesting when one has to wonder who the true bad guy is. The "Some disaster/bit of bad luck always snatches the money away" bit will get really old, really quick, and has already happened a couple times, so I hope that's the last we'll see of that. Yes, it was funny in Konosuba, but Konosuba was intended from the beginning as a farce poking fun at such tropes. In any case, I see more promise in this episode than in the last one, at least enough to watch the third one. |

| Please let the bean sprouts be a running gag of this show, that had me dying... Ayano was amazing this episode, making the tactical decision to shoot off her dress was iconic of her, really~ and I'm glad to see A-1 confirm that she does, in fact, exercise I'm not the biggest fan of Mikhail's character archetype but maybe it'll grow on me, idk. Otherwise though, I really liked this episode, the action sequences were *chef's kiss* and I'm looking forward to more in the future! The humor timing + character interactions in this show are also so good. Definitely one I'll be keeping an eye on this season! |

| This anime series is growing on me, the first episode had too much action and not enough back story, and this episode was the reversal of that. Ayano are Kisara are cuties and the gym scene with Ayano was nice. I'm sure Kisara was about to put extra food in that container she brought, presumable for Shuu, but that annoying blonde boy popped up and ruined those plans. Kisara was the hero or heroine again, although Shuu also helped again but it looks like he wasted their money by buying a capturing device that they did not end up needing, too bad that delivery company does not accept returns. Curious for future episodes, especially after that demon briefly stated something about a coverup on Shuu's family. |

Kisara having to carry a tupperware to the party to bring food home, poor girl :'D I didn't expect to meet the younger brother of isekai truck, delivery truck lol. Those bastards are fast. Another good episode but if there's one thing I can think of that I'm not that fan of, it's Shuu. I feel like he's too much of a scumbag, in a bad way. I'm interested in his backstory though, and also about his memory loss as we saw after his ritual with Kisara in the previous episode and how he forgot about some Melissa today. |

| Alright, I *might* have underestimated Engage Kiss in its first episode. This feels like it's just barely on the edge of a parody series, riding that ever so thin line between mocking its predecessors and making the most of them. An ecchi comedy that *feels* like an ecchi comedy? Unabashed staring, photos, egregious scenes that don't feel like they're made by a child? Color me impressed. I'm not exactly a prude by any means when it comes to this type of stuff, but always have felt that a lot of series that incorporate these types of aspects always fall flat, that they always come off childish and lazy almost. Add in the really unique and sort of fast-paced modern humor? Making light of situations for some really funny jokes? The awesome work on facial expressions, specifically Kisara's, to add some hilarious visual comedy/effect to the episode? It's surprisingly impressive. Engage Kiss is definitely not what I had expected from trailers, or even the first episode. The jokes land the ecchi have style and creativity to it. It's got a very nice flow and sense of style, a box that it's created for itself to bounce around ideas within, is the story really that interesting? No, but it ties together everything really well right now, providing a sandbox for what really makes this show so interesting. A1's really opening eyes this season between this and Lycoris Recoil and I'm here for it. |

One thing I’ve come into terms with is there will be no good character in this show, they all suck character wise outside of Ayano fanservice, that bike exercise scene was hot. Also just when you already have a hard time dealing with the antics of these characters, comes the annoying noisy ass hyperactive blonde dude, like, come on stop adding shitty characters already. Main male mc is a Kazuya that isnt entertaining to watch, he is just a pos. Rare but I finally found another anime where I wouldnt mind anyone dying. |

| this ep was decent with quite some ayano fanservice. so, some demon aims to assassinate the mayor of the city and the mc along with his group gets assigned to avoid it and further catch that guy alive. ayano cutting her skirt using bullet was just wow. mc ordering stuff to catch the imposter even though it costed his income, only to know that the delivery gal did the job unknowingly. 𝙡𝙤𝙡 𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚. |

| Think I overestimated the quality of this anime from the first episode. We're already delving into generic "the governments hiding something" plots, and "we both hate the government" villains. The fanservice is decent with the girl's in their various outfits, the action is well animated, and that one "I love your bean sprout cooking" joke made me laugh; but other than that I don't really think it's worth continuing with this show. |
| Guys, do yourself a favor and don't expect much from the actual plot. Should be obvious enough that it's all more or less elaborate pretext for a silly action-ecchi. Or in other words, don’t pay much attention to the world or logic, as it doesn't really matter. Just enjoy the eyecandy action sequences + booba. |
