Hmm, discreet Chinese, that's some nice pronunciation there. AND YES, they finally went away with the short episode recap, and replaced it with padding.

Donny is not happy that Nikka released the imposter Ryang-ha that Chateau saved out from the raging cat-and-mouse death battlefield, and he still has the cheek to laugh it off with barely escaping. And Donny switches his target from Ryang-ha to Chateau, knowing her true origins as Chateau Noble.

Of course, the homeless guy has to keep their real identity under wraps, and labelling them as husband and wife...is almost as funny as it looks, just exactly like a Josei work. Seeing Ryang-ha with Chateau's slap on the face is also too funny to not laugh at it, that's probably like the comedy that I expect between the two, so fascinating.

Both Ryang-ha and Chateau has to go undercover, and it's just literally a date in the midst of danger. Obviously, Ryang-ha knows the danger if Chateau were to get involved, and by hook or by crook, she wants to get to the bottom of it. And that forces Ryang-ha into a corner by restricting her movements, and this is for real considering how much she could be killed in this fiasco.

The true history of Chateau Noble: she met the imposter Ryang-ha when she was young, while he grew up with Donny, hiring him to perform assassination attempts. And as luck would have it, this boy whom was being pursued, he saved him out of a typical gunshot.

Who is the identity of this boy, and Chateau's abandonment by her father Liszt Noble, the truth is slowly creeping out.

Some much needed backstory is here! I wonder why Song Ryang-Ha took the other guy's name. I guess we will find out soon

i watch a lot of anime where im more interested in the backstory than the main story. guess this one is being added to that growing list. i keep zoning out but i zone back in when there's any mention of chateau/ryang-ha's backstory

Chateau's wall has definitely crumbled in this episode, the contrast between this and her usual stoic self was interesting and a little weird to watch.

My score increased drastically when seeing this moment. I'm in love with their chemistry yes it's cute <3

Definitely it's a relieve that they didn't fucked up their backstory, I think this one has a very well done direction imo, Ryangha's backstory is always emotional and I did legit teared up when they're showing a glimpse of it.

I'm quite worry about the pace, but I tried to enjoying it.
The first half was full of jokes lol. Chateau was so slow to proceed those conversations XD. Then last half back to dark story again. Here comes the backstory about Chateau, (impostor) Ryang Ha, and Donny's Ryang Ha.

guy at the phone (walking + carrying a suitcase) is a new character, if you want spoilers then he's

dude holding the pistol (green ish jacket,
freckles, helped ryangha) was "the real song ryangha". he's one of the kids adopted by donny

im not rly sure if im thinking of the same characters you meant but i hope that helped! feel free to attach some screenshots if i didnt get it right / ask more if you're still confused :D

Things are steadily unraveling now, let's fucking go!

The homeless scenes were hilarious lmao.

Really curious about the backstory though, it seems like Chateau was the one that killed the real Ryang Ha, so that must be after the car ride. The chronology of things is still unclear. Looking forward to the next episode to find out more.

There was an episode in which the chateau was taking care of Liang Ha, and she didn't receive the subliminal message that there was no noise at night, so she tried to escape from Liang Ha during the day but ended, so I think it's a bit late. I liked a little bit of your past

Hmm interesting how they showed more of the backstories at the end for both characters, we have more hints about what happened but still nothing really clear, it's still quite mysterious.

I don't know why this anime is so underrated. I like the simple art style and the music. Also the plot though not very unique isn't too predictable as many haters of the show are saying on the social media. I like how they never break the serious character of Ryang-Ha and Chateau for too long, and even though the episodes have cheesy fun moments it goes back to its serious tone pretty quickly. Watching comedy as the sub-genre in almost everything nowadays I find this quite refreshing.

First episode without a recap woo

Hilarious scenes with Chateau and Ryang-ha on the run from Donny's group

Interesting reveal, the real Ryang-ha asked to escort Chateau's real father, and along the way he saved the Ryang-ha we know today. ...can't help but wonder what kind of relationship the boys had with small Chateau, since there seemed to be a confession of love in the preview

Great episode.

Things are just getting confusing, I can't seem to understand anything about the orphan guy, little Song, Chateau's past etc..

2 more episodes left, hopeing everything is cleared.

5/5.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

I'm a bit weak in understanding cases like this, so I'm a bit confused... but it could also because everything hasn't been revealed yet

So the real Ryang Ha was assigned by Donny to pick up Chateau's father and take him somewhere, then on the way he met "Ryang Ha" and for some reason he helped "Ryang Ha" which can be assumed as the beginning of their relationship. Well, in the previous episodes there was a scene where Ryang Ha had told little Chateau who was crying that he was on her side, and in this episode it was "Ryang Ha" who said that he was (also) on Chateau's side... maybe all of this will be revealed in the next episode but I'm really curious, Ryang Ha was given a gun by Donny when he wanted to pick up Chateau's father... did Donny want Ryang Ha to kill Chateau's father? Because previously Donny had said that Chateau was "the target he let go"... but Ryang Ha said he was on Chateau's side.

Also, if it was really Chateau who killed Ryang Ha, why did "Ryang Ha" actually save her? Even though Ryang Ha was the one who once saved "Ryang Ha"... shouldn't he be shocked or stunned or maybe holding a grudge? But instead he chose to follow and save Chateau all along, even saying that he was on her side.

My confusion is really confusing :"D but anyway can't wait for the next episode!!

So that's how he met the real Ryang-ha, but wait what's the deal with that pink hairclip he's having lol. Also never knew Chateau can talk this much.

I still don't like "Ryang-ha" even finding out pt of his backstory :D

Are we finally going to learn the whole truth by the end of the season? I really hope so.

It's great to be finally getting the backstory!
They're cute together and it's nice Chateau's no longer stonewalling him as much. We get too see a wider range of emotion from her. But man she's prickly, not that he doesn't deserve it for keeping the past from her. Loving her must hurt though. Emotionally and physically. I'm really sick of the women hitting men trope. It's in so many anime. It's not cute or funny.

I'm torn on how I feel about Ryang-Ha because he's a genuine yandere but so hot and charming yo. He's drastic, controlling and in some ways abusive, but keeps taking accountability for the messes he's dragged her into and tries to fix them. He tries to take really good care of her overall. His approach is just twisted and I'm sure he has no idea what a healthy relationship looks like.
