"You're really handsome"

Jesus Christ, Tsugumi is a manipulative one but I found her presence in the show rather amusing. She also seems to show a lot of trust in the Kosameda Band captain. Props to making her character voice sound playful.

On the more serious side, it looks like she had a tragic past involving her family. And also, her captain has a rather malicious personality...

Good episode. The big adventure has just begun.

That fishing scene at the beginning was amusing.

Hmm, right now I have a mixed feelings about Tsugumi. She's quite interesting, but also a little annoying character. But yeah, she has such a tragic past and now she's being controlled by that evil guy. Poor girl.

That post-credit scene was so funny, haha. Good job, Musashi! xD

That Tsugumi girl isn't bad, she's just totally controlled by that master who's f*cking the whole bushi clans with his decisions, and if it continues like that he'll send all the villagers to their own death... :S but I'm sure the two main guys will manage to save the clan and especially save Tsugumi from being brainwashed like that, but so far they're jailed xD

OK episode. Not very enjoyable but it wasn't bad.

The most enjoyable part of this episode was the post-credit scene lol.

We see that Mushashi and Kojiro have run out of their supplies and are getting into fight due to hunger and exhausation but then suddenly a girl appears trying to mug them. They tried to retain our attention with some fan-service but it wasn't really able to.

I don't understand why they were pushing the bike in starting, I thought they ran out of fuel so they were pushing it but then Tsugumi just rode it away, what?

Though I would like to add that Tsubame is mommy xD.

I felt like they were over-acting many times this episode, especially Tsugumi saying, "Who does he think he is", "weirdo" when Mushashi said, "You are like me, then." Also that end scene of Tsugumi crying felt like it was over-done.

Tsugumi sure is terrified of Kosameda lol, it's unsettling how that dude changes his attitude just like that and it's disturbing how Tsumugi is still obeying him like that. I hope she grows out of that and leaves that man behind, I'm pretty sure it's not love that she feels for him, it's probably just respect and sense of love born out of fear of her master. It sure was kinda sad to see Tsugumi like that.

Though I particularly hated the way she kept on clinching her skirt(?) like that, it was annoying and irritating man.

Also I have no idea why Mushashi and Kojiro were jailed like that, I mean they aren't good bushi so just let them go, what the fuck will you gain by capturing them and locking them up like that? Also seems like the jail is wooden? Just break out of it lmao, they both seem strong enough for breaking through wooden bars xD.

Uptil now I don't really feel emotionally connected to any characters, let's see how it goes on.

3/5 episode.

Are you sure that Musashi and Kojiro are best pals to fight Oni? They can get along with no fighting, the power of friendship? Well HELL NO.

Kojiro getting injured out of nowhere is just an oddity, but even more so from a woman: the master thief Tsugumi Hattori. The issue with it is her forebearing fanservice, which Musashi dodges it with his "special training".

The Bushi that Tsugumi is part of is the Kosameda Band, its leader Hideo Kosameda. The Band itself is quite self-sufficient with its own tribe, but like Musashi, Tsugumi is an only child left of their own family alive. Hideo himself reeks of immense red flags, and to put out an outlandish feast to the childhood brothers, only to capture them and putting Tsugumi on a pedestal by brainwashing her and the citizens, it's no wonder Bushi can range from as good as Naotora's Takeda to as bad as Hideo's Kosameda.

Hmm, OK, now I understand Kitetsu, but the way that Tsugumi is trembling in fear just shows her instability to think and act right to request help from the brothers. Not a bad episode, but just needs more snuff.

The adventure started and this was an episode I actually enjoyed. It had a bit of old school shounen flair.

With this new character being introduced, I believe things are going to get more interesting for a while.
It was the first episode of this anime that isn't boring and I hope it stays that way.

This episode was okay and the introduction of Tsugumi should make things a little more interesting. It seems not all Bushi bands are created equal as the leader of the Kosameda Band, Hideo Kosameda is willing to sacrifice the villagers to fight the Oni and Tsugumi doesn't want them to die, yet Hideo keeps manipulating her to keep her in line. That after credit scene was funny too. "Begone, thot!!!" lol.

Great episode! Musashi and Kojirou try to get a long perfectly with each other but it has its flaws xD. Tsugumi was very interesting in the way that she changed constantly from bad to nice very fast lol. They got locked up because they didn't know what Kitetsu was...
Tsumugi's master is quite a horrible person as well.

Looking forward to the next episode!

Everything in Orient run by Kitetsu, the demonic iron ore. Kojiro cant ride it simply because he haven't kill any kishin by himself and don't have any reserve left.

Tsugumi is voiced by Rieri! This episode is so entertainig. All the scenes and stuff happening got me interested. I knew that Bushi leader was some sort of poker-faced clown from the start. Someobody save Tsugumi :c

Oh so that's how it is, I didn't really know because it wasn't really stated that it was required to run the bike. Thanks for telling.

I don't know what is happening with this anime. Sometimes just decided to being boring AF just to become interesting for a few before coming back to the "status quo" of this series.

Idk what to say about this atm due to how generic the MCs are, but it isn't bad enough to drop it.

I get the impression from this show that, when they made it, they targeted a young audiences thinking "We can skip the details and imagery of the tragic backstory, skip making the show make sense, skip making a detailed / colorful / imaginative world or even background art, and just randomly throw a bunch of cats with butt faces in, and motorcycles with giant crystals on top, and the show will make money regardless."

There's just nothing unique or interesting or funny or badass or thoughtful or generally entertaining going on in this show to keep my attention. Oh well.

Ah, i just realized Kojiro calling his motorcycle a steel horse, and idk why its amuse me xd. But the real name of those vehicle actually Kitetsu Mount, which the kitetsu itself actually a resource or power being taken by those Kishin or any oni. Even the new green-haired girl quite had an experience controlling those kitetsu. Too bad for Musashi and Kojiro for not learning such an important matter first, by asking such a genuine but dumb question, now they ended as their prisoner xd.

Girl looks cute here, with nice booba, not to mention her va also a familiar one. Idk much with her background, seems like she had something hidden, and it related to those dissapointing bushi leader.

Even though i feel like this is still a mid show at best, for the least it can be quite entertaining in some times. Example for that post-credit part. Oh yeah, nice training, miner xd.
