| I was really digging this up to the cell phones thing.. I mean, walkie talkies would've been more realistic cell phones require infrastructure i know thats nitpicky for an anime about an entire world being petrified.. but still. |

| Such a touching episode. The surprise at the end was magnificent. I adore Senku's reactions. Omigosh, Magma's expressions in the cave. This anime has a gift for drawing emotion. I love it so much. |

| Well then... this is kinda out of no where... But I just read an article that relates to this episode's plot. Where Magma joined into Senku's crew after Senku explains how the "smarts" don't rule the "brawns" and the world needs both to build stuff. I just learned they're mass building real-life size Buildings (not toys or models) with giant 3D printers... IE: no longer need "brawns". rip Brawns. IE: Machines replaced Brawns. (well, even before that, smart already rule over brawns... who's at the top of the current world? the rich and powerful that use smarts to control others, never once will there be a "brawns" at the top of the world power) |

| Everyone commenting here like it is no big deal, but for anime onlies, this episode sure did tease up a lot of times no? At least 2-3 betrayal moments. I already knew it was not gonna happen since I had seen what was ahead before seeing the episode but found the attempt to trick newcomers kinda cute. |

| maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way :') weird episode; the pacing was really bizarre with some parts feeling really rushed and transitions that left my head spinning, but the observatory scene at the end made me giddy, so I guess it was worth it? |

| This was an amazing episode. From the cave exploration to the power of friendship joke to the celebration of Senku's birthday. The only thing I don't get is the math for Senku's birthday. If he had lived for 6268 days, wouldn't that mean he JUST turned 17 before they made the gift for him? Meaning his birthday wouldn't be for like another 9-10 months? And also, what did Senku mean when he said that Gen would have to know what day Senku revived to figure out his birthday? If Senku gave him the amount of days he had lived in a previous episode, he could just count each day that had passed since. Wouldn't be that complex. |

| To my surprise, Magma is really recognizing Senku as a good person and even saved him from the fall he was going to suffer. I thought it was really cool to give Senku a birthday present, I never imagined they would do that. |

| Having Magma in the exploration team was a big red flag in itself, and for once they had all of us too. But thankfully he had a change of heart, atleast till the situation with Tsukasa is sorted out. Birthday gift for our boy too, an astronomical telescope. |

| Aww, who's cutting onions back there? This episode was so wholesome! Magma's redemption, Gen's surprise birthday present—my eyes felt teary throughout the entire episode! And I don't think Magma will kill Senku, even after the war with Tsukasa. Senku doesn't want to lead the village; he would be more than happy to give it to Magma, who, by that time, would probably have learned a thing or two about science himself. He's already learned to respect "twig" science-users like Senku and Chrome in this episode. The look of genuine emotion on Senku's face during the birthday present reveal really got to me. I already liked Gen, but now he's secured my number two favorite position after Senku with this! |
