Wow imagine being Natsume in that situation. That's definitely a LOT to take in.

And yeah the animation in the fight scenes were very fluid. I'm definitely loving the choreography. Kudos to Studio Nut for a job well done so far.

Overall, very good stuff!

amazing episode hands down, the entire operation even with Turkey trying to ruin it was a success. Natsume saw a lot of things she wouldn't understand right now, wonder what will come because of this.

A lot of action this episode, ranging from the cyborgs fighting security to Kaburagi against Hugin really nice. Dammit Turkey you traitorous bastard, why did you have to bring Sark into it like that? Sark, what a fucking hero. Guy went out with a literal boom, round of applause.

Donatello giving no shits, wrecked through the security and gave Turkey an ending only someone as scummy as him would deserve. Death via processed shit isn't a pretty one
Kaburagi vs Hugin was decent, Jill with that massive 1-up to keep the operation going was good.

That ending though, really liked that. Poor Natsume, she must be extremely confused on everything around her, Kaburagi spilling the truth for her, interested to see what happens.

100 of 5..... Episode.

MVP: Jill....

Honorific Mention: Sark.

With Great Contenders (ReZero & GodOfHighschool) this weird series has been making its fight, and sometimes making me feel more than those other two...

More than Great Episode.

PIPE, NO!!! Wait! did I miss something? I didn't think that by destroying the Gadoll factory, even the ones that were already out would die as well. Damn, so that's why at the start of the episode Kabu was staring down at Pipe with such conflicted eyes before leaving.

Well, decent episode overall. The mission ended up being easier than expected but with Hugin still being around, I'm pretty sure there will be one final clash between him and Kabu.
On the other hand, I didn't care much about what was happening with the other Cyborgs and since I never really liked Sark's character, his sacrifice did nothing to me. Donatello being his usual badass self was still nice to see tho.

As for Natsume, I wonder how she will assimilate such heavy revelation. Something tells me she's gonna snap at Kabu while saying she felt betrayed or something similar but we'll see.

I liked, I really liked this episode, I must say again, the music is amazing. The episode was full of tension, a plan was being executed, so it can be messed up with little mistakes, fortunately, Donatello could help them from the prison, and Sarkozy sacrifice, I don’t know of it was planned for the prison to explode like that, or it was something that just happened and helped Kabu and Natsume get to the reactor. Donatello dealing with Turkey, revenge is sweet my friend.

This might actually be the best anime this season but so few will find about it because of the lack of hype and the unwillingness to see past the 'real' world animation design. Such a shame.

So many things happened in this episode that I don't know which one to process first. The biggest is the Gadoll finally disappearing. Does that mean our cute ugly mascot, Pipe, is gone too? No wonder Kaburagi gave him one last look before leaving. Also, RIP Saru.

I suppose he will survive since he's a bug. Although I wouldn't mind if he died. I like him a lot, but it would be pretty ballsy to kill off the show's mascot.

I'm hoping the score will boost after it finishes airing because this anime deserves way more than 7.18

It depends, he (and that seahorse one for that matter) seem to be a different type of Gadoll completely lacking only offensive capabilities the other Gadolls usually have. Maybe they are some kind of pet models created to be sold as merchandise (the whole thing is a corporate endeavor afterall). If the G.G.S was designed to be an emergency shut down for the "combat models" then it wouldn't make any sense for "pet models" to be affected by this.

I was getting really sad over Pipe but that would make a lot of sense. I hope we get to keep our good boy!

How is that cheap drama? Gadolls have to die, Pipe is a Gadoll, Pipe dies. And it's not like they overplayed it in this episode. Coming up with a BS excuse to keep him alive... THAT would be cheap.

BS excuse? Natsume didn't die after entering the barrier because she has no chip in her and is a bug.
Pipe apparently wasn't raised in the lab since Kaburagi found him on the surface of Decadance. Meaning he's a naturally born Gadol, meaning he's also a bug who's not recognized by the system - meaning, most likely he wont vaporize like other Gadols after the two pressed the switches.
Considering all this, it would be a cheap drama to kill Pipe behind scenes anyways. To me it seems certain that Pipe's ok. There are more reasons to believe he's ok, than to believe he should be dead by now.

You might say the way Kaburagi glanced him for the last time implies that Pipe is a goner, but then you should remember that Kaburagi also worried about Natsume and still suspected she would die when crossing the barrier to enter Gadol facility - but she didn't and he sighed from relief.

This only proves that Kaburagi is a normal human being who's not always 100% certain at things and still suspects that things might not work the way he expects.

That ending was quite thrilling, can't wait for the conclusion.

So curious to see Natsume's response to the actual truth about her world.

With all de Gadoll disappear in front of their eyes and with multiple different reaction from all the different characters, it was surprisingly to see not all folks were happy to see the Gadoll disappear.

I do hope our little friend Pipe is still with us, they mentioned Pipe is a bug so there is still some hope!

Same opinion on this. Not to mention, author would not sacrifice cute pipe for some cheap drama. Pipe is just as special as Natsume.

At the end of the episode, before they pull the switch, Kaburagi has a flashback to Pipe, and looked pretty beat up about it. He at least thinks Pipe is gonna die.

Amazing episode, Turkey really does remind me of Randall from Monsters Inc. Donatello is OP as fuck holy shit, he breezed through all those security and yayeet Turkey. R.I.P. Sark, you made some terrible decisions but, sacrificing yourself for big kaboom is definitely not one of them you have my respect. And Jill really is a great character, didn't expect to like her this much when she first appeared.

Finally the gadolls have been wiped out but, at the cost of Natsume finding out the truth and nooo Pipe that was sad. I really didn't expect for them to defeat the Gadoll's this early I wonder what the remaining episodes will be about.

Turkey is the most realistic character by a long shot. There are so many people like that in actual life and it rings so true to human collaborationist mentality that it's saddening. His character reminded me of Kapo Jews in the labor and death camps in Germany and occupied Eastern Europe. You can always have corrupt people police their own and keep others of their own ilk down for perceived privileges and hardcore dedication to the status quo mentality. It's the easiest way to control a captive population indirectly and autonomously, and in a self-perpetuating manner. Just empower some and have them act as the enforcers of the status quo.

This was a fantastic episode. It was like a good movie. Sark, having been seduced to join the wrong side, finally found some purpose in his worthless existence, and went out like a hero. Taking out the traitor at the same time. Excellent.

All the characters were great. And finally Natsume will find out the truth. What a shock it will be. It is hard to imagine now what the world looks like from the perspective of the ordinary humans. How do you even begin to tell her? How do you do it quickly without leaving anything out?

I’m guessing Hugin is going to be the main endgame villian of the show since the Gadoll are all gone now. Sark’s sacrifice was sad but what a great person.

That reveal at the end will have broken natsume. Imagine your whole world being a lie... was there ever any meaning in anything in life?

People are so sleep on Deca-Dence

I think Natsume was already aware moreorless of her whole life being a lie in episode 5, she knew they were going to where the Gadoll were being made this episode as well. I'd say what'll be more impactful is her realizing that she just committed genocide, I could the start of that realization at the end of the episode. Maybe that combined with everything being manufactured will be what takes the toll on here, I guess we'll see next week

What's this "genocide" you're talking about? Genocide is about killing people. The gadoll aren't people, they are monsters who kill people. They exist only to kill people. Getting rid of them was the whole point. Not only was the production of new gadoll stopped, at least for now, but the existing ones are also destroyed, so they can't kill more people. Natsume could hardly ask for anything more - she and all other humans have wanted to get rid of the gadoll their whole lives.

Well, the program initiated on the computer at the facility was literally labeled with genocide in the title (Gadoll Genocide System), so I don't think it's the user in question's error as he's just borrowing the nomenclature the show itself uses. Typically though historically, yes, it's never been called genocide for non-human species and I have a difficult time imagining it would be by other humans. It would probably be called extermination if more localized (like exterminating pest species such as mice, rats, cockroaches, or termites in a building) or, if meant to wipe out the whole species' existence, probably mass eradication or purposeful extinction.

I might be late. But here i am still tried to binged closely with this amazing show. I shall considered myself to re watch it when the time has come.

Wow, this episode surely served nicely as the peak of its story. Kaburagi even let the poor girl Natsu to knew the real world of the Deca-Dence. Nice! It must be happened. That day, when the bug faced the truth about her miserable world. She must realized, her enemy was not supposed to only defeat Gadoll and survived. Its way too big than she could anticipated.

Yeah, i am be satisfied enough with this continuations. Even, if i must be honest, its quite fast to letting the event ended like that. Overall, it the plot was good to conclude everything in a nice way. Such as Sark and Turkey intentions, how Hugin knew the infiltration plan, why Tanker attacked and not let the strongest Tanker to help Kaburagi. Its all had its explanations pretty well done. For me, once again, i had so much satisfaction with the outcome. If only, they could explore anything into more deep, i shall considering this on my masterpiece list. Well, its still had a chance, honestly. One quarter left before this season ended. i keep my positivity hanging into my best until the show really finish!

After Gadoll officially gone, Sark officially sacrificing himself to saved the whole plot, a fuckin traitor got what he deserved, and Natsu, my poor girl, knew the truth. What else? Ah it must be the whole system. The system of cyborg. The system of a Solid-Quake, the company, that controlled the world.

Wow, it must be huge, honestly. Idk if they could jump up to that arc so fast at the rate of the point. So, yeah, i shall be patience to see the next week conclusion. Maybe they should let tankers reacted with the current situations. About how the society in the Deca-Dence facing their whole life changed after the GGS. Or rather i must say, Natsume feeling when knowing the truth in front of them. Should they, should she still kept their same sanity? Their whole world slowly began to rambling, and its nothing similar with their previous life, again. Lets see the next episode, then!

He called him a bug because his behavior seemed abnormal to him, his chip however seemed to be working as intended. Like I said if he survived it's most likely because he's a different type of Gadoll.
