Good Thing to Start the Year by Rewatching the ONA Eve of Jikan
7 Years ago I thought the show was just decent
Now I gave it 8/10 Now since its really that good than most anime today that tackle the same concept
I am currently making a review on Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku today. I check the top 4 reviews for some reference/ And 90 percent of the opinions I stone-hard disagree. Good thing I am gonna make my own review on it. I feel like my opinion is gonna be different.
Give both a chance. They are worth checking out. If you liked K-ON! you certainly gonna like both. I feel old when it comes to K-ON! since I watch during the time it was super popular to the point K=ON is once an entryway anime for newer fans
Instead of crap like Rent-A-Girlfriend that has "adult" characters acting like middle schoolers just because prostitution is a plot device of the series and you're forced to have adults in the story, even when they are written like stupid teenagers.
I would love that show if it is written as hentai instead the protagonist is destroying the show.
>I'm watching Paranoia Agent from Satoshi Kon. It was the only work by Kon I hadn't seen before and of course I'm loving it, although I think that his style was more adequate for films than for series. But still it's close to being a masterpiece. A few episodes have actually deprived me of sleep.
Its certainly good show but knowing Satoshi Kon style it is not a normal anime at the end but one the best psychological series out there.
I am the opposite I like Please Teacher for being the first the difference is ANo Natsu has no consequences in its narrative that why it felt natural while Onegai has some serious element that will push the character to move forward which I more appreciate since most modern highschool anime like to take it "Safe" than pushing the media from its limit by exploring themes people doesn't want to talk about like a relationship between lovers with huge age gap, Sex in a young age and being left out because of a certain disease and how age gap can affect some people social standing.
Onegai has this serious themes at ain't bad in execution while ANo Natsu has nothing to offer except that one girl being a nudist and Men in Black which is still irrelevant to the main point about having a relationship.
I am actually watching Hitman Reborn which is a very boring action shounen with terrible characters and obnoxious style of pacing.
While SHaman King having no arc is by more enjoyable to watch but it kind of lack some good action animation. Excited to see the remastered reboot this 2021 for Shaman King since the anime really need some good animation treatment thought the show is still above average for a action shounen.
It been a long time how are you? Pandemic in my country is still worst as ever.
There is any good enough or convincing anime for me to try out this summer.
>About Rent-A-Girlfriend. I'm not entirely sure, but if things stay like this I'll end up dropping it after 3 episodes. It's been a while since I saw such a pathetic MC. The animation is quite good for the genre but the f***ng MC is unbearable. Not even Subaru from Re:Zero is so annoying. So if a miracle doesn't happen next episode this one is going straight to the toilet.
Most my friends in Discord number complaint about the manga is that MC is so damn terrible. That they wanted him to die in many ways possible.
I Finally Got My First Anime Review of the month. Bakemonogatari still checking for some minor errors.
Let me know if you found the review helpful and do you have any feedback. It's a little bit longer than usual. But I just really want to say all my words in Bake before I forget.
The last Anime I love in Triggers work is Little Witch Academia which I give a solid (8/10) score!
>I also started watching Mysterious Cities of Gold. have you seen it? It's a really old anime from 1983, it was a collaboration between Studio Pierrot and French animation studio DiC. A friend shared it with me and I must say my expectations were pretty low but the first episode is quite interesting. It might be a hidden gem. I'll let you know.
Most of my veteran anime viewer friends is actually recommending me it but it seems like I have no plan to watch any 80's for now.
Rent-A Girlfriend I think I need to finish reading Domestic Girlfriend before I touch it.
Right Now I am watching Hitman Reborn and I say its dogshit action shounen anime and comedy is really bad. I am going to finish Beck after I finish the first 25 episodes of Hitman Reborn.
How are yah? It's been awhile. Have you finish SPace Brothers? And Fushigi is a good Reverse Harem Isekai in the 90's one my childhood anime in the days.
I think sometimes my review sty;e changes depending on the score I give the anime. I haven't made 1-4 for yet because I am actually looking for the best each year could offer. Usually when around 5 to 6 I really get technical with stuff since the are the scores I give on series that have some disconnection with my heart. 7 and 8 are actually is under the spectrum where I am more on the positive side. While 9 and 10 expect me 90 percent speak all the things this anime did best.
Sometimes people like me to be more personal while some might be more objective. Though there can be a balance it just really depends on how I see the show. They are some show I cannot love even I try so being objective is the way to go while I love so much I blinded to it's obvious plot holes and inconsistency this why I don't bother talking too much of them like the One Piece And Detective Conan Franchise. Currently, Gintama has jump over my criticism barrier even how stupid and anti critic the show gets I don't care because I love this shit.
If an anime manage to make me watch it casually then it already passes but it retains to make think over it like how Shigatsu did expect some heavy criticism. That's how brain work and I won't change it.
