I'm satisfied that they actually got the money/prize. In a cartoon or a sitcom they would've always end up with nothing despite going through all the trouble

I think this is the moment when DiU officially became better than Battle Tendency for me.

This episode just like the last was absolutely off the charts, and it's some special kind of satisfying to see the kids eventually get the money after they pretty much fought each other to the death over it.

If anyone wants to know how much money Josuke, Okuyasu, and Shigechi got when it comes to US cash, it would be about 16 thousand dollars each. Nothing to scoff at really but "millions" for yen doesn't really translate into much cash elsewhere. Pretty great episode overall though.
bruh, 16k dollars is some people's annual wage. Whether you're an adult or teenager, this amount is huge if you belong in the middle class.

If it's any consolation, everything is focused plot after next week's episode, barring one silly arc.

I thought the SoL episodes were pretty nice, though.

I really liked seeing harvest in action. It's really cool, and Bad Company is one of my all time favorite stands, so I guess that means that swarm stands are just awesome by default.

But the best part was the newest version of the ending adding Reimi and Shigechi, but more importantly KIRA!!! It's almost time bros...

Well, funny story. But I am still wondering why this didn't come before the introduction of what seems to be a psychopathic killer ready to stay for a while.

I couldn't stop thinking about Dodoria during those two episodes.

Harvest is a surprisingly strong Stand. Didn't expect it to be so powerful in battle.
Josuke was very smart to change the handwriting on the lottery ticket by Crazy Diamond and to tear it up so that he could constrain Shigechi from breaking his promise again.
I think that Shigechi really went too far by removing the screws, which could result in life-threatening injuries to Josuke & Okuyasu. I know money can change people, but he just stepped over the line.
lol "now who's going to protect you from these 2 drunks right here". It looked pretty much like 2 drunk delinquents were teasing a kid.
I was doubting during the whole ep if they would really get the money and I'm glad they did in the end. That narrator's epilogue was hilarious.

This episode, other than being mildly funny, also remarks an important concept in the series: some stands that may apparently look weak can actually be deadly if used correctly.

I thought he was really innocent & pure
But in the end his personality is the worst, the worst thing
It's like breaking promises is his hobby

I wish I didn't watch this arc
I regretted it
I regretted for thinking "This new character might be adorable like Tonio"

That was so frustrating to watch! Probably the most frustrating episode I ever watched, and not due to the show's flaws. All the time I wanted to punch the kid's face and be done with it, but at the same time tact was needed in dealing with a stupid kid and 'child diplomacy' in order to make things amicable but still get a fair deal for all parties.

This stand is an excellent example of it's not about how powerful your stand is (well it can't be helped in anycase) but how you use it.

Unfortunately my memory is piss weak so I can't remember all the stands we've had the delight of watching, but Harvest has to be intrinsically and demonstrably the most adaptive.

And the stand is PERFECT, BLOODY PERFECT for the user (I will be happy if it was either a pig, but not creative enough). That kid is a greedy, double crossing, thrifty, two-faced bastard! XD

On another note, I can't help comparing this whimsical comedy to the conflict between Dwarves and Elves. The issue of who worked for the project and who came up with the idea and drew up the contract.

Obviously I am siding with the MC. The greedy greenhorn doesn't realise it isn't just about who works harder but the essential cogs required to make the plan work, no essential cogs, no one wins. Well maybe when the kid learns business in school he'll realise this. If you want the entire pie, be the brainstormer as well. Like Samsung who does virtually everything from electronics, memory chips, smartphones, cars, ship building, home appliances, robotics, military, hospitals, drones, construction. You name it.

As much as I hope we don't see of Shigechi again I highly doubt that's the case since he seems to be part of the group in the OP. What a terrible person though. They say don't judge a book by its cover but this case is an exception.

Shigechi that bastard...trying to kill Josuke and Okuyasu and run off with the 5 million even though he couldn't have gotten through that menacing banker and let alone the ticket itself. (it would've made more sense if Okuyasu used the Hand to change the signature but I loved the episode anyway lol)

I was relieved that he learned the error of his ways but that didn't last long as he tried to be greedy again hmph.

I'd like to see this Cinderella arc~

Why do they keep chasing enemies on foot?

They could easily use "The Hand" to remove the space and pull the greedy guy to them, and beat him close range.

What's even more ridiculous is Okuyasu already know how to use that trick because he used it to fight Josuke and Josuke had already had that trick pulled on him in that fight. So how is that none of them thought to use it to easily catch the harvest kid instead of running after him.

When they finally caught up to him, instead of using their stands to fight they just... stand around yelling at the guy. Meanwhile the enemy is using his stand to stab them and poke their eyeballs :\

Jojo is pretty entertaining but the fact that the author kept giving their characters the idiot ball is quite irritating. The writers seem to have a tendency to make easy fights really hard by making the main characters forget what they can do.

Shigechi is too greedy! He could've gotten 2,500,000 yens, and ended up with 1,666,666 yens (still a fine amount of money). He has a soul of gambler, because in order to get all money provided by promissory note he risked his health and his part of money that he would've gotten if he had acted fairly, as the agreement between him and Josuke & Okuyasu stated.

The bank scene was funny, I thought they might end up having problems with claiming the prize from that coupon. :P

Harvest couldn't stop to amaze me. It's not only an army of perfect seekers capable of finding literally everything, but it's also an army of bloodthirsty little creatures who can become an exoskeleton if needed. The whole episode was very good, but Harvest and its multiple abilities was definitely the cherry on a cake.

Shigechi was blinded by greed.
