Seems like this OVA is only about the match between the Hornets and the Raiders... I don't know how to feel about it yet. And Goro's injury segment felt a little rushed. |

| Finally watched it as it finally came out in subbed, damm amazing Shivers went through my body as watts called a pitcher change and everyone is surpiredd, DAMMMM cant wait for episode 2 to be subbed, man i just lovee major, sad there wont be anything after this. |
| FUCK! They sure know how to open the episode. I totally shed a tear from my right eye when Honda was hit and then the picture of his dad showed up. We all know who wins, but I was constantly on the edge of my seat. I love Major so much. |

| It was so awsome to see Mayumura again, I was sooooo glad to see him. Also Goro and Toshi playing together again was really nostalgic. But sadly one more episode and it'll be over :( Just thinking about it makes me all teary T_T |

| The first scene when Junior's ball hit Goro's head...I WTF'd so hard. I accidentally thought that it was the final game but thankfully, it wasn't. Lieila said: Mayumura and Shizuka was a surprise. This. I had to replay that scene to hear it again. Onto the next one!! |

| It's great to get a closer look at the World Series and how the pieces are being put together to lead up to that last scene in S6. Shizuka x Mayumura blew my mind. Although it looks like no one has aged, it's still cool to see where everyone has gone 8 years. Onward to the finale, glad I get to see Goro tear it up one more time. |

| No, the fear hear is that it is a head injury, if he were to sustain another head injury, even a much lighter blow to the head, or even just just his head to hard, he could slip into a coma. That is typically how concussions work. Their fear is actually very founded as compared to a shoulder injury, his current condition could prove fatal. |

| They scared me a lot when the ball hit his head and he was in a coma. This episode was dramatic, Mayumura was pitching on the anniversary of his mother death. He's married with Shizuka? He must like them older. |

| too bad i have only SD quality, but that's what i got in the batch. anyway, the moment the OVA started i understood they wanted to animate only the last scenes in the final episode of the world series, though i would love a season of this, it seems they wanted only the highlight and the important match to adapt rather than make a whole repetitive season, it kinda remind me hajime no ippo treatment, which is good. the problem wasn't the game itself which went exactly as any other final-game in the major series but the before-the-game scenes, it rushed too much, we see that goro got hit by junior, but though we know it's serious, the size of the injury wasn't explained well why goro got released so soon and why he can't play yet. otherwise than that they made big and huge hints to make the backgrounds more clear, shimizu is pregnant, mayaruma married shizuka and other hints. it was actually really weird to see keane in the raiders team after so much time on the hornets. and though toshi is in the hornets it doesn't feel like the S2 moments, mostly because he and goro weren't together at all. gibson being a coach is actually great development for him, i'm glad he moved on, or rather say, he's freaking 50 years old, it was about time. watts being the coach also made it well. though goro's act to make the raiders intense were smart, it was obvious, that's our goro after all. 9/10 |
| After the timeskip end of s6, I didn't expect this to suddenly start in the middle of a match nor Goro's shocking headbanging collision. Still cool to see what happened to some people 8 years later especially Mayumura ending up together with the Kaido coach Shizuka was surprising. |
