 A third season for TV anime Boku no Hero Academia has been announced at the end of the final episode of the second season. More info will be revealed at a later date. The manga is written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi and has been serialized in the magazine since July 2014. The series currently has 15 compiled manga volumes in print, with the 16th volume to be shipped on November 2. VIZ Media has licensed the manga in English and has published nine compiled volumes, with the latest released on August 1. The manga has inspired two TV anime adaptations by studio Bones. The first season comprised of 13 episodes and aired in Spring 2016, followed by a 25-episode second season that aired from April 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017. | Wow, great. BnHA is the first series I scored 9/10 in w while. And even though I knew the chances for the 3rd season were high it's still great to have a confirmation. Now I just hope that Bones makes a full adaptation. |

| Excellent! Great news, easily the news of the day for a fellow Otaku like I, yours truly, to be frank. Considering how thoroughly exceptional and splendid Season 2 was, the hype and joy only gets bigger and bigger. Can't wait for the best arc of the series to be adapted and to see more brilliance from Boku no Hero Academia(My Hero Academia) sometime next year. I hope it will air in Spring 2018 so that we get to see Shingeki no Kyojin and Boku no Hero Academia releasing at the same time once again. Well, none of the two are confirmed to be that particular season but considering both shows to be airing only on Spring gives much hope and excitement. |
