From things you did not mention I also liked that author really put themselves into the shoes of a long-living being. Why rush if you have plenty of time? You can spend few years (or decade) deciding what to do. And it does feel "alien" for us, humans, where a decade is a very long time.

Another thing are parallels between past and present. Not only between Hero's party and the current one, but also between Serie/Flamme and Frieren/Fern. There are even some parallels to heroes long forgotten (we don't know much about Kraft's story and I doubt we will ever learnt all of it) and how it will inevitably happen to Himmel too.

Finally I like how in both manga and anime they keep measuring the passage of time using "xx years after passing of Hero Himmel". This is way more informative than using "year yyyy of AAA calendar".

I was (and still am) reading manga. When the anime started I immediately knew we had something great - the anime was better than manga!
I did not expect it to beat FMA so badly, tho ;-)

Nah, I don't expect any fanservice from JoJo at all. Even if author/animators will add some good female characters, given the art style I doubt I'll find them attractive.

Triage X is one of those anime I had on my plan to watch list for a long time but still haven't started. High School of the Dead is one of my favorite anime though. I watched it for the first time in 2012, but only started to appreciate it after re-watching it in 2020. It has really great fanservice-action ration, you never feel bored with it.

I started playing GFL2 recently. It has really great character models.
So far my favorites are Groza and Krolik.
Well, Groza was one of my favorite characters in GFL1, so it's not surprising, but Krolik is a new character.

To be fair to Sara, those screenshots of Rixia are from the latest arc (Kuro) which has the best engine and visuals (I honestly think it has the most beautiful character models I've ever seen anywhere), whereas she only appears in the previous arc (Cold Steel), which uses older graphics. I finished replaying one of the games and did a bunch of new screenshots, so here's Shizuna and Rixia together, Rixia in her casual look.
I don't know about the past, but now I'd probably wouldn't watch/play something if I wouldn't be able to access original audio. Unless it's something purely for educational purposes.

True, tastes change over time and it's hard to imagine someone not getting interested in Fern after becoming acquainted. That means you'll have to partner with someone like me who is too obsessed with another girl and wouldn't think of getting romantically or sexually involved with Fern lol.

Another one I ended up enjoying from the last season is Wistoria. It's from the author of Danmachi and I really like the MC's motivation. Becoming Hokage, hero, pirate king, saving the world, etc?. Nah, it's a simple "I want to be with the person I love", very relatable :D

Hmm... Even though there are plenty of catgirls and other -girls I like aesthetically, if you pressed me for an answer, I'd say I like normal human look the most (and some tails actually suck because they block the view of the girl's body). As for definitions, though, I'm not sure. Maybe it's like different levels of furry? I don't think I have even a single furry lover among my friends or other people I interact with so this question never popped up before.

There is a saying here which I wasn't sure how to correctly translate to English, but after searching for a bit I found that it is most likely originated in English language in the first place. I see, that's understandable. For me it's pretty easy - I've been watching sub since I was 13 and I always go for the original audio even if we're talking about other languages. When it comes to animation or video-games, I prefer to think that the characters have only one voice - changing it to me is the same as changing the design or personality. The only exception I can think of are Chinese gachas which I'm not even sure if they have the 'original audio' or not.

Sounds like a decent plan. Alternatively you could try finding someone who'd try to aim for Frieren herself and isekai together, she has many fans after all - maybe she'd mellow down in the process. Unless you want this to be a solo experience. On the flip side, your 'partner' could fail and drag you down.

This is all so true. Making some kind of passion projects with the power of money is indeed very enticing, possibilities are almost endless. This is actually a pretty interesting thought experiment - by asking different people what would they do with such a power, you could discover many things about them; as long as you can make them to be truthful, I guess.

The best thing about the Sibyl System is that even though it's made out of human brains, it manages to act impartial for the most part. I think human nature makes any kind of system of governance prone to being perverted and abused. The easiest example is communism in USSR, the "everyone's equal" concept was one of its main tenets, but people in power didn't want their kids to work on factories and used their influence to get them better positions in society. Same with modern democracy - it works in such a way that only the most unfit people for the job end up being elected in positions of power. From Sybil you can at least expect some level of fairness and competence. Although, I'm not sure about the lewd media, but due to my proclivities and desires I feel it'd end up considering me not normal and allowing dominator to be shot at me lol.

I still like Laura (within the same series she's number 2), but there's certainly no comparison to Shizuna. Even one atom of Shizuna's being is more dear to me than anything else.
Maybe you'll find it interesting to look at the other Kiseki girls I like, though.

This is true and sometimes even openings spoil such things (who fights who, etc.), so it's not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things. And it adds all the more value to something unorthodox. A few years ago I had a funny idea about an anime - start it like a normal battle shounen in which characters get stronger, overcome obstacles with teamwork, etc. and when they reach antagonist they all die by his hands and from that point he ends up being the protagonist instead. I wonder how the viewers would react to something like this.

Yeah, actually I've discussed the same with another friend of mine and we talked about how the whole Holy Grail War might be a scam created by the three families since it is likely no one else would be able to operate the Grail. But when it comes to theorizing, I think it's fair to assume of it as a wish-granting device without such pitfalls. The one that Kiritsugu had to deal with was already corrupted, but the normal one is probably just a source of a lot of mana, with which you can do a lot of things human mages wouldn't be able to do normally. So all in all the simpler the wish the more realistic it is to fulfill it by the means of grail, I guess?
Some might think money is a banal wish, but I don't think so. After all, money is pretty much like mana in our world - it saves you time and health, it helps you make your desires into reality and with enough of it you can even alter the world. My own wish would be obvious though, and I'd go for it regardless of the consequences Grail might inflict upon me and everyone else in the process.
