| Oh my my my. Kagura and Kamui's momma is hot. She is like a more gorgeous and elegant version of Kagura. My wish came true and I got to see her alive and animated. Oh my god, I can't stop laughing at Umibouzu. He was fairly good-looking when he was younger but that "Let's forget about the Orochi and take out the Orochi from my pants" line killed me. His other lines "It stood up!" etc. were also hilarious. That scene of Umibouzu running away with young Kamui on his back was cute too. Kamui looked like a good kid and he turned into an asshole. I'm also by "killed her" means that he let her die but I'm sure there was nothing Umibouzu could do. |

| I agreed the boner jokes during the fight was so funny. Great flashback, it's sad that she died like that. I am looking forward for seeing Kagura vs Kamui and Umibozu vs Utsuro. |

| Backstory of Umibozu and his wife, Kagura's mom. To be honest it didn't interest me that much. A flashback like this right in the middle a very badass fight reminds me of the shit they constantly pull in Naruro Shippuden although this one's not as boring. |

| A beautiful and tragic backstory. Loved how it transitioned between the fight, Umibozu's talk with Mutsu and the flashback. Young Umibozu was quite good looking but damn his pick up lines XD. Kouka is absolutely stunning and awesome. It was such a great love story. And the flashbacks of when they were a family were really sweet and sad and Kamui was such a sweet child too. |

| Umibouzu's flashback were such a mix of emotions. The first one were hilarious, LMAO at his Orochi. Then it became cute and heartfelt. Their family looks so lovable. Then the ending was sad. |

| We finally got to see Kouka, she is what adult Kagura would look like. Seems like she is an immortal ( altana ) like Utsuro but why would she be unable to live outside of that planet? Maybe because she can't sustain altena unless she is in there? |

| Really interesting flashback episode for Umibouzu and Kagura/Kamui's mother Kouka, 1st time we see her and wow she really looks Kagura so much, even the same seiyuu, but anyway Umibouzu was quite fun during his "seduction mode" and it worked xD though since Kouka moved from Kouan the lack of Altana made her sick and she ended up dying from what we know, that's why Kamui says Umibouzu killed Kouka but well... it will be hard to fix this issue obviously. |

| I just assumed the girl in the opening is Kagura's cousin or that her mother somehow survived. So Kamui is basically the one who was old enough to realize what was happening, he really isn't as simple as his motives were back season 1. The story was nice. Kouka would look amazing if it weren't for that earring, which I never like. Nevertheless, her character is great. Now, if she was born from Altana, what's the difference between her and Utsuro? |
