| sure felt like Barakamon with a twist MC even looks like Handa-kun and has the same expressions he makes lol, but man i thought Days had the most jamming op in the season but this makes me wanna dance as well!. seems like this might be another good SoL/parenting anime |

| Super cute first episode. It looks like Amaama to Inazuma, but I hope that the episodes will be more varied than just make one dish per week. The art and the little Tanuki are beautiful :). |
| Very pleasant show, felt pretty good. The exposition of the main character was transparent and felt a little lacking, though. Was I the only one who felt the flashbacks were a bit lazy? Hoping we get some more of the famished udon-loving girl next door. |

| Very heartwarming anime, bit mix of everything, from the little fun to more "feel". Definitely gives vibe of Barakamon series, but since this is kinda fantasy based SoL it's going to have different story to it. The opening song is awesome (whole song with official video is out btw), and the ending theme is just perfect fit for this kind of series. I would say overall the series is going to be the quality one. PS. Especially when I was watching the episode and when it transitioned from Souta having his flashbacks to the ending song (even the ending song had the flashbacks), it kinda bought some tears in my eyes for some reason and couldn't control it. Hence the ending song is perfect match for it. |

| Looks like Lidenfilms is making progress, the production looks very nice. What a terrible mistake it was to give them Yamada Kun as one of their first projects >:| . Well if the source material is on Yotsuba or Barakamon level and hopefully not as boring as Amaama, this is going to be good. |

| One thing that makes me curious. MC supposedly left the store when he graduates highschool, which means around 17. Now he's 30. There are 13 years difference between these. Implying his dad is dead right after MC left, is it even possible to see a guidebook that leads you to the store after 13 years? And even if not right after, is it still even possible? How many years does it take for a guidebook to be updated? |

| Ahh, what a nice and (bitter)sweet show! Amaama to Inazuma all over again? But it had really good nostalgic feel and I wonder if tanuki grant him a wish in the end. His new restaurant is just about confirmed, I only wonder how he gets to learn all the cooking. Can't wait for seeing his sister too. I wonder if she, too, gives up on selling the house and joins udon business. |

It's nice to have a little boy like him, most series have a little girl and it's kind of tiring sometimes. I love how that savage old lady thought that Poko was his lovechild LOL she's my spirit animal. |

| This was a cute first episode, if a bit odd. The only experience I have with tanukis is the running gag from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun so this is definitely different. I like that the MC is a real adult, none of this "I'm an adult, oh wait I'm actually only 22" BS |
