| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, the show is over. I thought they brought up the topic of Goro's dream well since Gibson has retired. Very nice ending to a wonderful anime. Now I can only hope in the future they do an OVA or something. I'm gonna miss looking forward to new Major episodes. |

| Good final episode to what I believe is probably the best baseball story Japan has to offer. My only disappointment is the fact that my lasting image of Goro will be of him giving up the game-ending grandslam to Junior rather than shutting down the opposition with a 100+mph fastball. Regardless, such a great ride. Though I kind of wish they included a bit more closure (or just something more in general) to the Goro x Shimizu relationship and a bit of a more touching scene between Goro and his mom, considering everything they've gone through. However, I'm still going to hold onto my statement that Major S1 was -- by far -- the best out of them all. Something like this: S1 > S5 > S2 > S3 > S4 ... though seasons 2 through 4 can be switched around. I know the manga goes a bit further actually and I'm quite surprised they aren't going to include any of that. I just hope someday we'll be able to have scanlations or some company will eventually get that far in distributing the manga outside of Japan. Final 8/10 for this season. |

How about the image of Goro pitching a Perfect game as his first game in the Major Leagues. That left me with a pretty big impression at the end. |

| Ridiculously good ending, Little League Goro's appearance was a nice touch. While I would like to see more Major episodes, this season really did end on and emotional and dramatic high note and it may be fitting to be the end of Major. |
| This was one of the first anime that I watched and it's sad to see it end. For the manga it is really far behind in scanlations. I just don't know what's going to happen to Major for me.... And how is the manga not licensed in English? |

| Finally a season that doesn't fill me with rage! That hasn't happened since I watched the 2nd season. I feel the drama in the last 2 episodes was unnecessary, but I did like how it was resolved with Goro talking to his younger self. Very nice. Well this season was, surprisingly, fun to watch, with all the focus on great games and a good lack of useless/overused drama. The romance was kind of nice too. Looking forward to S6! And going along with everyone else; S2 > S1 > S5 > S4 >>>>> S3 There's my order by enjoyment :D |

| I like how this season turned out. Quit realistic (?). Prolly I am half bias with Gibson Jr over Goro and with Gibson Jr fulfilling his wish for his father. I love father and son scenario so I am satisfied with the ending. As for Goro, he's a natural challenger. The brief moment of reflection...thinking about his drive and quitting baseball after that loss...and being motivated again. That bit of moment was also satisfying as there's a break and shows a realistic side of life. As for me, the enjoyment would be this s1 > s5 > s4 > s3 > s2 I would like to continue watching but argh, I am still d/ling S6. This anime is so good. The pacing is just right for sports anime. |
| I think this just might be my favorite season, everything that was being built up got resolved. Its a good place to end but...thank god they made a 6th season right? Now let's see what unfolds. |

| In order of preference 1 - S1 (8/10) (best because of the first 6 episode) 2 - S5 (8/10) (came close to season 1 with all the drama) 3 - S2 (7/10) (it was ok but not as impactful as season 1) 4 - S4 (7/10) (same as season 2) 5 - S3 (6/10) (my most hated season, author had no idea how to make Goro win so He copy/pasted every thing from season 1, the only reason I didn't give this lower than 6 is because of how the season ended, thank god he didn't magically make him win) Well this season was definitely one of the best, only the first one topping it, but to be honest I don't think any season will ever be better than Season 1 just because of Season 1's first 6 episode filled with so much sadness :'( |
| Amazing season it just may be my favorite! I was smiling so hard when I saw his friends playing baseball at the end. Such a nice moment. And then Goro asking his younger self why did he play baseball. Ahh my heart!!! :) this ending was perfect! & him playing with his friends. Simply love it. Off to season 6!!!!! |

| Definitely the most exciting season of them all, even though the ending broke me apart. I liked seeing everything unleash and all the epic players and everyone from the previous seasons coming back. It was splendid. I'll leave it as a solid 9/10. Great way to end the season as well. | Goro's lost passion was regained faster than I thought, but it was still nice to see how everyone he'd brought together through baseball helped him see the true reason he plays. Poor Kaoru though, they became a couple and still haven't gone anywhere. Guess Goro seriously doesn't plan to kiss her until he conquers the world! This was easily the most satisfying and emotional season of Major for me yet. The way everything came together, the world series and having Mayumura, Toshiya, and Goro team up to represent Japan. The final match was incredible and despite ending in defeat, it finally gave closure to both Goro and Gibson. I really feel like this would have been the perfect way to wrap up Major, but I see there's one more season and I'm not complaining. 9/10, looking forward to seeing Goro finally making it in the Majors. And I love how they played the very first opening at the end, that was just perfect. |

| Seriously. They should have closed this season with a sweet Gorou ♥ Shimizu moment. Even though I didn't like their endings, S2 and S5 are my favourites among all of them. S5 > S2 > S1 > S4 > S3 I would like to see the scary combo - golden battery of Gorou & Toshi again in the next season, though I know it's not possible. Zannen desu ne. :) |
| Oh god I love this show so much, and they brought out S1 OP at the end, love that song so much. Perhaps season 1 was still the best season but this isnt bad too. |

| The only thing I can complain about this season is how little attention he's paying to others and his family. Like, not once have I seen his mother (Momoko) gotten any love, yet she keeps supporting him with the family. Being self-centered as always... Better season than the previous ones. Season 1 still remains my favorite. |

| In the first season, i kept thinking how i wanted Gibson dead, but Gibson is amazing and this season just reinforced the fact. Gibson even with his mistakes tried to atone for everything he did, sacrificing his body and soul for it. For his son and for Gorou. Shout out to the Gorou why you so dense for 3 seasons and finally you got together scene. |

| What a great ending for this seasons, though i am disappointed that Goro still can't win in a BIG competition T.T. Need more Shimizu. She is really the best girl in this series. This series never disappoints me and I have watched 5 seasons in a week. But really, I want to see him win a big competition. I give this season 9.4/10 for its thrilling and interesting match. Hope he can get revenge outta Joe Gibson Jr. And yet, another ending of seasons, another farewell to Shimizu. Time for S6 |
