okay ep 11 was animated better than ep 10 for sure. I think ep 10 of the 2nd cour will go down as the worst animated AoT ep after ep 6 of first Final season cour.
Hi! Glad that it wasn´t only me who thought that :) Yeah, I hate when that happens too, all that emotional investment traded for dissapointment by ruing a solid and entertaining build up :/
It also confused me how KyoAni chose a amateur director instead of a veteran one. I believe Violet Evergarden had a great potential, but unhappily it was wasted. At least I hope that this gives Ishidate experience so he can do better works in the future, of course something that can match his capacities, unlike a major one like VE.
Well people are used to being more aggresive and ignorant in the internet, and unhappily each day is becoming harder to find sensitive and well educated discussions like ours.
Well my entire comment is regarding those who unnecessarily insults the director or the anime just because of their frustration. I agree with you, I myself was a bit disappointed with what was delivered and expected much more from the show, but this don't give me the right to insult the director or whoever is in the production. This is my point see?
I believe that this anime could be much better if it were in the hands of another director, like I said, Naoko Yamada or Takemoto Yasuhiro and also Tatsuya Ishihara (I forgot to quote this one). But I also believe that this actual diretor is doing a pretty good job, especially if compared with Kyoukai no Kanata, he's previous work. He cannot be the best director that KyoAni can offers, but I think he still has room for improvements.
I'm glad to see someone stating their opinion without the necessity of offenses or insults, I'm really grateful for your comment, really.
I really wanted to drop it after episode 8, but now that my review is the most upvoted I feel I HAVE to finish it so I can give a final review. I am trapped in this hell I made myself ;_;
Hey, thanks a lot! Yeah, I liked the dinosaur bit as well, it was just not connected to much else that had happened in the show so far, so it ended up feeling empty too :/ Hmm, yeah I found finding out what Elias actually looks like quite interesting, but I don't have high hopes really.
Thanks, I always enjoy getting feedback, be it good or bad :) I got a lot of negativity for that particular review in the past, saying that I was just trying to bash the series for the sake of it, which could not be further from the truth. Thing is, I really want One Piece to be good. It's one of the things that got me into Anime in the first place and I used to be incredibly excited every time a new chapter or episode came out. But that's unfortunately not the case anymore. And while I am certainly aware that a large part of that has to do with my personal preferences changing over time, I do think that the show itself also declined on some objective levels, which is why I felt the need to point that out.
To be fair: While the Anime is still more or less a big dumpster fire, the most recent arc in the Manga is probably the best the series has been in years, thanks to finally focussing on the characters we already have instead of just throwing more into the mix. But even then, I would not say that it is worth catching up for if you're sufficiently behind. A long series like One Piece is certainly a commitment, even if you're already caught up with it. You may only spend half an hour with it each week, but if you add up that time over fifteen years or so then it suddenly doesn't seem all that insignificant anymore. And I simply do not believe that the content the series has been delivering for the last few years justifies putting that much time into it.

Why does everyone give FMAB too much credit when it doesn't derserve that much hype.
