Great fucking show, what a season this is.

Anyone who says this is a shit season should stop watching anime and take a break altogether. There are so, SO many good and promising show in Fall 2014. Not like Summer 2014 with only few promising titles and even them were disappointing.

Summer was extremely disappointing, but this season seems to try to make up for it. So far its going very well :)

Apparently Favaro not sucking up to Amira's sob story makes him a bad MC.

That's not why I don't like him. I just have a hard time putting up with his whining and "funny" faces.
And how stupid is he, trying to kill this completely OP girl? He doesn't even know if killing her will really lift his curse...

Another fantastic episode delievered once again. Amira is so hot and cute at the time time while Favaro is literally just cracking me up. Especially at those "I'm not a liar, just look at my face" scences. He a well written character which was made to be a typical ass hole but being so entertaining at the same time.

If this is 2cour I've found myself a favourite anime. Well, I'm really interested in that other guys background (his name completely slipped my mind)

Wow. This show is another one of my dark horses for AOTS. Favaro is an absolute riot especially with the "Believe me! Looks at my eyes!" look. He is the male MC that we all deserve. A true gentleman and a scholar. And Amira had some absolutely winning/kawaii moments in this one as well especially the line, "Biribiri!!" This is shaping up to be a very pleasant surprise for this season. I can't wait for the next episode.

I'm not really what you could call an expert on curses but it doesn't appear very logical to me. Especially since she might be the only one to know how to lift the curse.
I'd probably try to reason with her first. :-P

I guess so. We have no knowledge of their magic system so we can't exactly claim much as we're quite ignorant. I hope they explain it later on.

Every season there's a show that comes out of nowhere and just grabs you by the b*llz and doesn't let go. Bahamut is definitely taking that place this season. Favaro is a great MC, not your cliche overpowered shounen guy or knight in golden armour protecting the ladies. He's a bit of a scoundrel, I like that a lot. Makes for a more interesting story. And the OST is superb (How often do friggin' hear flamenco music in anime for heaven's sake!).

The animation was not as good as the first episode but that was to be expected. They couldn't keep that up through an entire season.

I hope they keep this up and it doesn't disappoint. I expect the score for this to go up as word of mouth goes around.

I have to admit I was skeptical of this series. The first episode was pretty decent but didn't convince me. I am now convinced, this episode was fantastic. If it keeps up, this will be a very solid series. Too me, the MC gives off a Lupin vibe, which I like.

The animation makes this series hard to pass up. Not too fond of the MC still, but the story is moving along. I'm curious to see how this will end.

Also, Amira is cute. :D

Amira is so beautiful, strong and just a dream female character. I really loved her first look, although her new look is decent. She definitely looks way better with her hair down. I'm really excited for this series! It's a gem so far, and the characters are just so lovable and diverse. Super hyped!

So, so, so good. :D Looks like the show of the season.

Favaro is a great character. Seriously, the guy can't keep a straight face for 5 sec for the sake of his life. But his darker side is ugly, and it seems to be a big one, judging by Kaisar's memories. Though Kaisar was very young in that prison scene, and it seems that they're more or less of the same age with - what did Favaro do?
It's nice that he didn't become conscious right from the start, but I hope they won't make him a complete asshole.

Needless to say - it tingled!

Surprised to see a show with such quality come out of an online card game - though I must stay cautiously optimistic for that very reason.

Hopefully things don't get too weird, and stay on the same track they've been in these first two episodes. I can see things getting generic if they go overboard with the Cerberus girl.

Such an enjoyable show so far. Haven't been bored at all. Amira is so cute, love her personality and character design so far. Favaro is a good MC too. His moral compass isn't exactly straight and narrow.

This is simply fun, in its most basic yet entertaining form. Favaro cracked me up quite a bit with his "do I look like I'm lying to you" expressions and in general, I really appreciate that this series seems to be taking a lighthearted approach. Hope it keeps this up...
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

The show coming from a card game should be the main reason it WILL be good. Do you realize how enormous their budget is?

Amira is surprisingly cute and oblivious, I like it. She's pretty funny in her own way. As for Favaro, probably will still take a few more episodes for me to like him or something. His lying face is definitely hilarious though. Just wondering what he did that made Kaisar so bent on capturing Favaro. Must've been pretty bad judging by the brief flashback.

HOLY SHIT HOW GOOD CAN THIS GET?

- The op is GREAT
- the characters are GREAT and badass
- The main character is unusual and I LOVE the fact that he has no scruples or morals. Its so fucking refreshing.
- The nonchalant badassery of the female main is also awesome.
- The FUCKING CHARACTER DESIGNS. Its so refreshing after moefest of last few years.

Absolutely fantastic episode. Favaro and Amira as a team in combination with Kaisar are absolutely brilliant main characters.
I can understand when people don't like a silly and funny MC, but I absolutely love Favaros character, he acts like a normal, greedy human being and isn't another third coming of Jesus Christ saving children and women because of his OP swag.
And I also absolutely love Amiras character, her backstory and motives are a bit generic, but she certainly has potential to develope in an absolutely fantastic character.
I'm looking forward to see witch role Kaisar will take in this show (hopefully he gets his own story).

The amount of money made by the Rage of Bahamut card game is sickening, and the production quality so far reflects that.

DeNA isn’t disclosing any numbers, but now Japanese business publication The Nikkei is reporting that according to a source close to the company, Rage of Bahamut pulled in over 100 million yen (US$1.3 million) in monthly sales in April – on Android alone, excluding the Japanese version.

People just can't appreciate a main character who is NOT some selfless hero full of honor and chastity. Part of me believes that had the original Star Wars trilogy came out in present day it would bomb...
