I'm seeing a more goofier side of this show despite the premise. For one, I think food might be a recurring element in the show. Yuri and her friends still has to defend the city so we're still getting the usual action. Kinda wondering when the plot will advance more progress as it still feels kinda repetitive. Yuri still represents the poster girl of the show though. She just get along with mostly everyone. |

I didn't expect such a tragic turn of events. What a shock. R.I.P Yuri. Poor girls. :( First, I thought Erika was going to die. It was hard to watch that scene because she was so scared and desperate. Btw, I really like this animation style a lot, even though a lot of people are not a big fan of it. |

the booba Erika is safe, but at what cost? okay... okay... my instinct was right all along, someone will die. But, come on, this is only the second episode. It's way too early. 😭 AkeZZZ said: I really hope no one will die in this series. And, this is only the second episode of the series. 🥺 Jeezzz..... |

Man, the previous episode's preview had me thought they'd kill off Erika. I fell for GoHands' trap, hook, line and sinker. Edit: I guess that explains the title now. Momentary Lily (Yuri) |

"Bam, bam, bam, victory." and pain, and anguish. But, I suspect, not yet death. The PVs contain at least two future (because all 6 including Ren are in them) scenes with her alive. One at a pool (with a related still also showing all 6) and one in a building cooking (also with a related still). Or or they past or time loop scenes? |

@KanameYuuki Maybe it is a game, or just time travel stuff involved, and it's probably Renge who loops based on that memory flash. |

I thought this was gonna be a fun adventure anime about cooking with limited supplies and fighting some monsters. Welp...! How wrong I was, ep 2 actually hit me in the feels. Despite the short time I have known them, I kinda like the characters already. Only wish the show didn't feel so rushed in its story telling. |

This might not be the best show in the world, but the first two episodes have shown it’s way better than the current MAL score indicates. Say what you will about Gohands’ animation style, at the very least the story and world are interesting and you feel curious watching this. Not to mention the emotional gut punch this episode was holy shit. You mean to tell me, my cute girls fighting monsters anime is going to have bloodshed and death?? Episode started off so light hearted, we’re planning snacks and hot pot and next thing I know, Erika’s being strung up by some monster and on the verge of death. Her seiyuu performance was great in that scene and really drove home how scared she was. Like a character who’s all about making people laugh and lightening the mood literally on the verge of pissing themselves with fear is wild. Felt so relieved when Ren and the others showed up and just knew we were escaping with everyone intact and BOOM that fucking ending. 💔 Yuri deserved so much better .. didn’t think I’d get emotional watching this show. The big question now is if death is permanent in this world. I can’t tell if next episode is a flashback or we’re getting a time loop sort of deal. Just wish Gohands would stop with the over animation. I can’t tell if their fights look good or bad. It’s like a crazy mix, as if they’re more concerned with looking good rather than being good. So many of the movements are jarring. |

The actiion sceens could be that makes this anime stand out, but they dont. I felt those sceens were weird from the beggining, but now I realised why. In ep 2, around 14:40-15:10 minute, two girls are running towards a big gigant monster and the buildings are rushing next to them to indicate motion. However.... the same happens with the monster - which is standing still. So you get the feeling with the gigant when a character moves in a video game T-posing without any walking animation. Just levitation above ground xD So weird. The action sceens have too much motion in unnecesarry places. |

It's so damn cringe how those characters are just one exaggerated trait, which is their entire personality and that's it. Guys, I have suspicions that glasses girl might be a gamer. That big titty onee-san is her entire character. Even when she is all teary and panicked about her impending demise, jiggle physics are in full swing, completely ruining the scene, because fanservice serves the same role as comic relief. And since this anime is completely generic as fcuk, they also have to ripoof Mardoka Magica and Symphogear by killing off supposedly important character early on, which absolutely nobody could see coming. Now I wonder if it will result in some sort of development or just used this as shock factor. Ok, one more episode. |

Following the "3 episode rule", I decided to give this a shot. Last week, I was impressed with the animation (I happen to enjoy the way it looks and flows). However, the one-dimensional characters, lack of build-up, and honestly odd pacing had me considering dropping it. The PV looked wild though. Boy, did they swerve us! As tragic as the ending of this episode was, I honestly enjoyed this one much more than last weeks. Are the characters still annoyingly one-dimensional? Yes. Will there be some weird canon reason why? Maybe! My bet so far is that Renge is either looping through time/memory (likely), or she's "stuck in a game", the latter of which could make me forgive how one-dimensional the other girls are. I also don't think this is the last Bam Bam Bam. |

I think we let GoHands accidentally burn their main course for this season. Anyways let get to the point, Wtf bro you killing off main character in 2 ep, fastest mc death since "Orb the movement of the earth" (Rafal died in ep 3). Kinda suspected she died since she told Renge her whole backstory. The animation has been pretty good aswell although it does get a bit to much at times. I do feel like the 6 mc in the series do need to a bit more personality as they feel kinda boring (not in the bad way or anything, I just think they more character). Let talk Erica, we know she big sister type of girl but you not need to reuse the trope this much (she litterly says "Anata no oneesan" .... in every line she talks). Also, let not talk about jiggle [physics] constantly distracting me; serious i can barely pay attention to action sequences because everytime Erica is on screen her boba literally bounces everywhere on the screen. Overall this ep is 6.7/10 Animation 7.40/10 Music 7.00/10 Cooking 6.50/10 Character 5.90/10 Let see what GoHands plan to do on the next ep! |

One more episode it is. I honestly don't know what to feel about the show. First things first, the pacing of this episode was better than the last. The lead up to the fight set the groundwork for what's to come at the end of the episode, however, I was still bored out of my mind because the lore they sprinkle in is so little I felt like I was searching for a fish in the middle of the desert. Second, the characters' interactions boil down to reactive based dialogue based on character archetypes. Every single character is so predictable that when the cooking segment came back, I was not surprised in the slightest it seems like this will be a reoccuring thing with this show, which to me is just a waste of episode time. It adds nothing to the show as a whole. It doesn't even serve as downtime for the show because after making the food, they skip the eating part as if to fill some quota. Finally, the animation is still superb (this is GoHands we're talking about). The fights scenes are the creame of the crop. Speaking off the fight, the death at the end of the show was out of nowhere. For sure, I thought Oppai Ne Chan was going to die, but unbeknownst to me before the episode ended, I had already fallen for GoHands trap. If not for this final part, I would've dropped the show by this episode, but because of this, I will watch one more to see where it goes. TLDR; I don't really know what to feel about the show, so I will watch one more episode to decide its status. |

It seems I was wrong about this anime. it’s going to be more painful than I imagined. I thought it would be tough, but not to the extent it was. I’m not judging the anime—it has great designs, and its graphics in the fights and environments are also amazing. What really shocked me was Yuri’s death. |

@Marinate1016 MAL score is a joke anymore. They gave Uzimaki a 9/10 the first 2 weeks when it was clearly bad. Now "Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!" has a higher score then this too. I would pay no attention to scores from this site. People here have horrific taste |

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT! So much insanity compressed into 20 minutes and then Yuri dies. Loving this series as, unpredictable, spastic, and vibrant as it is. I don't really think Yuri is completely dead though. Action was even better than the first episode since the blows between the girls and the goliaths were easier to follow. What a fucking episode. |

@Marinate1016 I agree, when it comes to most series these days trying to hit you in da FEELS with a character death, they'll force their 'friendly' personality early on in the series, or even go into a touching flashback into their past in the same ep/chapter they'll die in. With Momentary Lily however, I thought this show was just going to be stupid, dumb, maho shoujo, action packed, adhd addled fun with some cooking trivia tossed in. I expected high stakes to be involved, but did not anticipate one of the girls dying. Maybe it's in their banter with one another that I understood how close these characters were to each other, thus heightened the impact of Yuri's death. And there's also that 'wtf' factor that this show has been hitting out of the park, that adds to the unexpectedness of her death. Did not expect to feel emotional watching this series either. |

Episode 2, Momentary Silly: OMFG I FORGOT ABOUT THAT HORRIBLE INTRO OMG MAKE IT STAAAAAAAAP HEADACHEEEEEEEE AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!! So the cute girls stand around and talk about girly stuff, their hair moves around a lot, and the girl with very active boobs somehow makes them leap up and down... I am not convinced this is some post-apocalyptic anime, the city looks immaculate, even the street lights are on, not a single window is broken... how long until they tell us it all takes place in a game they don't know about? I guess that's my 'prediction' on the twist so there you are... Anyway all the hate on this studio's visuals is bullshit. This looks fucking amazing, it's like 4K, the quality of each of the girls and how they move is really sharp and even when running they look great. The colors are nice, the cherry blossoms glowing at night looks pretty, The different camera views, like the worm's eye shot at the beginning looks neat, that's what anime is supposed to be about- moving the camera around, doing things live actions can't do. Tired of the NPCs all imitating each other with "durrhurrhurr Gohans shit lulzzzz" god just shut up and watch something else then. The action was pretty good especially when it suddenly got REAL. The big boobs girl got real upset and I thought she wa gonna die, seeing her scream and crawl helplessly was actually kind of upsetting, sorry I made fun of her boobs suddenly... but she gets saved by the other girl Yuri, who then takes a direct hit from one of the CGI monsters. That's the other side of the argument with this studio- they don't pull their punches. Delivering a character death this fast and sudden is a bold move, and the stakes going up seals this into my schedule for the season. Good job GoHands. |

I literally gasped when Yuri got hit it was so sudden and didnt see a sign of happening in the moment and a character dying this early unless the plot pulls something to bring her back or heal her.
