| Is it really Natsume if he didn't do something for the youkai he gave it's name back to? This time it's protecting this little doll that gives beautiful dreams.. but yeah, youkai designs in this show never fail to amaze me like. Like the owner/messenger or whatever of the doll was just a straight up kite... LOL. But yeah, just some normal Natsume antics... except for the part that for once, no youkai come to hurt the dude... WHAT???? That's rare to see. Am glad of that though, because it have room to see all the gang one last time in this finale, so all's well. Great to see the dog's circle in this episode because compared to usual, we didn't really get to see them much this season, so very glad to see them. And yeah. All led to Origami leaving and giving Natsume and Nyanko-sensei one last surprise with the flowerbed.. <3 Everytime a finale happens I can't help but shed a tear, and this time is no difference especially because this gave major season one vibes. Was a fun journey, season eight NOW PLEEASEEEE. |

| "Fried chicken! Fried chicken!" Nom nom. Nyanko-sensi has a good taste in food. I'm going to miss that cute little furball again. Wholesome finale as usual. Overall, a very good season and better than the previous one. The first episode with the cute mini Nyanko-sensei and that Reiko episode were my favorites. Hoping for a yet another new season at some point. |

| Yeah tbh, this last episode does remind a bit of the very first episode of this season, albeit only in a way where again Natsume got something from a youkai, and he/Nyanko sensei again had to kind of babysit it lol. If anything, they had great dreams. And yeah, it felt like a classic Natsume episode, everything considered. I mean meeting a youkai, then Natsume getting to know more about it and eventually getting attached to it, which leads to an emotional goodbye is that template this series has made many episodes on, but still they always manage to land their way in. Good to see other faces as well coming for this finale. Again the kind of season which pretty much defines this series. The best episode has to be the previous one, but overall, this again leaves the impression of to be continued, which of course it would as well lol. Looking forward to the extra episode and a potential 8th season. |

| Glad we got one more season of this a shame it's already over tho. We can always hope we get more tho. It was a calming episode ones again it was really relaxing, we all need a ayakashi that will show us nice dreams maybe it will improve my sleep. |

| A very beautiful and soothing episode to end the season. The scenaries the origami ayakashi showed were beautiful. Hope it's wish is fulfilled someday. Was really happy to see Jun, Tooru and Hinoe and the gang one last time for the finale. Fantastic season again. I just love this so much. Looking forward to the 13th/special episode bundled with the BD/dvd release and hoping for s8. |

| Not my favorite season by any means but still a very solid edition here, and a nice little, relaxing finale to wrap it up. |
| Whatever will I do without my weekly dose of Natsume :') At least there's still the special coming out in a few months to look forward to. Fingers crossed they announce an eighth season, and hopefully it won't take as long this time! |

| Not as good as most of the previous seasons, but it’s still a very solid watch through and through. That extra bit with Reiko’s past was the best part for me, personally, ofc. A cozy conclusion to end season 7, though I’m kinda sad it’s already over so soon. Looking forward to an 8th season, hopefully. 8/10. |

| Very comfy episode, even though the Orgami yokai hardly had any speaking lines it was so cute. It was also nice seeing Sasada and Taki, nice close off with some familiar faces. Such a sweet episode. |

| GREAT EP WE SAW SOME BEAUTIFUL landscape i won't lie he was for years in my watch list so it took me almost 2 weeks to catch up for the final of the S7... nobody told me that i was missing a great anime we don't have a lot like this type nowadays 8/10 |

| Such a lovely and calming episode. Need more of this! Origami ayakashi was so sweet. It's funny how they were talking about a journey without destination this episode. That's pretty much this anime and we love it. Here's hoping for the new season announcement. |
| As Kakuzō sensei once contemplated and emphasized on the greatness of little things in life through the metaphor of tea. Midorikawa Yuki does the same for me with Natsume Yuujinchou. In between those soft sides of life, lies some of the most precious insights that we could ever hope to find. For they are quite eternal in their characters. Sigh! And so it is now, for another season of this heartfelt soul has ended gently but warmly. You'll be missed and every preciousness around you will too, just as you're missing Origami, Natsume. Autumn's gone and Winter remains upon us as well as those many problems of the world. Nonetheless, we wait with hope, for the arrival of Spring again. Mata aimashou ne, Natsume, mata aimashou.  |
