| Kenshi does values and decided to change his plans about getting his sword repaired. With intimidating guys like Sawagejou around, there's sadly no peace. An eerie episode this episode and didn' take long for him to face off against Kenshin in a fight. That Sawagejou has such an ego. |

| I do think Kenshin has bigger problems to deal with than just to be a worrywart about his sword, I mean see how Shishio has assembled his army, and close to a dozen freaks too, but then again, the stuff with sword is pretty important as well. Though you know what, the thing about bad people is they can’t let you stay still just because you want to be. Carrot haired guy couldn’t be more infuriating even if he tried. Doing all of that with that kid just to learn where that Sakabato is hidden was… one very hard thing to watch, for the kid’s parents at least:( But hey, it ain’t like the mother did anything wrong. That actually was one reasonable thing to do, except Cho wouldn’t have handed the kid, which he actually didn’t. Can’t wait to see Kenshin beating the life out of him. |

| Things started getting real this episode with the appearance of Cho, one of the Ten Swords, I was kinda surprised the dude turned out to be so demented after his first appearance while talking to Shishio, he seemed more lighthearted but nah he’s evil af lol, makes me wonder if his sister Yumi is more than just a beautiful babe. And this isn’t the best showing for him really lol, bro shows up flexing his sword skills on unarmed people (including a baby) and then gets his ass handed to him against Kenshin when it wasn’t even a fair fight like he claimed, this guy’s got no honor. I do like his sword collector trait, that’s really cool and interesting, but we’re probably about to see him get waxed next episode, would be unfortunate for him to lose before the Shishio uprising even begins lol, I’m sure the other nine swords will be interesting too tho. |

| Oh boy poor those Arai grandchildren must encounter such a rascal ten sword master. There's no peace at all when Kenshin meet people so yeah, the outcome kinda expect to those poor family. The question for the next episode kinda to see how Kenshin handle those dude in his final form and get his hand to the final masterpiece sword of Shakku Arai, or actually not even.... Next week can't come any faster, huh? |

| Okamoto voicing Chou is such a nice fit. Not a fan of the comedy this time. Probably the first time I truly miss the more serious/sober tone of the first season. That said, next episode should be fairly serious considering what it's gonna cover so I hope they tone down the jokes and overreactions. |
| Nah man keep the kids out of it! That was a low blow. Need him to get his ass beat. Cho is such a bum for flexing his skills on unarmed civilians. Where’s the honor or skill in that?? All that to get beat by Kenshin with no sword too lmao. That cliffhanger was a little infuriating, excited to see what Kenshin does to him next. Looks like I was right last week about shishio using foreign weapons too. Numbers and odds are definitely against Kenshin right now. |

| Misao's recap session sure was a curious addition. That was quite the reaction from Shishio's men upon that declaration. Kidnapping babies is exactly what i expected his men to do though. Curious to see how this fight would play out considering the unique sword that Cho had. |

| Broomhead Cho takes the swordsmith's son hostage as he also seeks out the last Sakabato made. Kenshin can still fight Cho's peculiar blades with his sheath but after typically bone-breaking blows, it's revealed Cho's wearing armor, that turns out to be a sword too. |

Aside of the cup-and-ball fails, all the comedy of this Episode was present in the Manga too, so it should be good if they don't randomly add more in the next Episode. The overreactions are omni-present in the Manga, tho.

| Would be hypocritical to force a peaceful blacksmith to make a weapon at the end of the day, I suppose. And so we're back at Square 1. Welp, evil organization is getting a little antsy huh. For them to know about the final sword and Cho getting ready for a house visit the second it's brought up. He sucks at playing with kids toys tho. Threatening with holding the kid up by a sword hilt.. that's one precarious way to get the job done. Still, Cho got a direction like he wanted. And Kenshin is there to stop him. Kenshin clowned on this dude off the first meet up. A sword wrapped around the body to look like armor is a strange design, but it'll probably be a whip like thing to use next ep. |

| The Shishio Clan well on their way to acquire all Ten Swords, as much as Kenshin is back to square one to find the other person to fix his sakabato. And the first to arrive is Cho, as much as spokesperson Hoji is worried about the plans thereafter, which he has no need to worry about. Of course, the last forged sword by Shakku piques Cho's interest to find the sword at Seiku's place, and he doesn't like wasting time trying to find the sword, enough to take their child Iori as collateral until it is found at Hakusan Shrine. Thankfully, Misao heard the sudden message and passes it on quick to Nenji, which Kenshin is ultra quick to respond before Cho could acquire the sword. And despite Cho losing his swords in a fist fight against one of the Ten Swords, the Sword Hunter is not done yet...he's only getting started. The ugliness of the swords forged for killing, this battle is the start of it all. |
