Somehow almost every episode, Uryu finds himself in the same bed as the Amagami sisters. Jokes aside, they had a lot of fun.

Uyru misses his home but he also made a memories in his new home. Loved the bone the sisters had with each another this episode. Asahi is still the airhead of the trio but also sincere in her feelings.

Somehow, her sisters have given up on her, and can’t seem to find where she goes and hides, but being the main character our guy is, he’ll go out of his way, find her, and then again.. somehow, will find a way to become her seat( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Though hey, that’s what the role of harem protags is. As what history tells us, doing it this way has always resulted in a girl or two falling for you. I mean Yae has, if it’s not already obvious.

We’d see her backstory in detail in coming episodes, but yeah, from the bits and pieces we got, and what we’ll get from here on, it’s easy to guess it’d be a bit sad. Btw, why and how this guy ends up getting on top or vice -versa, the very first thing EVERY DAMN MORNING lmaooo. Sisters would still love each other and would remain supportive, even if he doesn’t end up in the embarrassing state he does lol.

The animation quality was extra in the drain today, some of the stills were really bad.

But nevermind that, see i generally from all the episodes that has been out for now like Uryuu as a character, but this week he was in particular very pushy. The surprising part tho, is that the trio of our girls caught up on it.

Resolution next week!

EP 8

Last time. where did asahi and yae go
Also wasnt there supposed to be some hot spring shenanigan. maybe
Also its ep 8 already

Ok soo thats the ep
A bit of time with yae and some shenanigans with asahi
Kinda uh. i mean last ep was mostly yuna so its not surprising.
Feels kinda off though the surprise twist with asahi and then
Like i mean
Mainly its like the author likes to troll us
And then the issue is the actual episode is like. 8 eps in. A bit of yae and asahi and uh......I dunno
I was expecting a bit more and a bit less perhaps.
Asahi too

I know Yae being an airhead is well-established by now but spending half an hour in front of a vending machine is ...in its own tier.

Uryu being overly nosy aside, dude had guts to confess to Asahi's blackmail material on him (especially to Yuna lmao) just so he could bring the sisters closer. Also, half-expected Asahi to be hiding pics of the others sleeping on top of each other at first, and knowing her, she probably did take a few shots before checking her emails lol

I love how Asahi's blackmail didn't work and Uryu straight up told the sisters on his own just so the girls could go find Asahi.

You never had to watch while your wife or mother in law are supposed to make an order at a counter service restaurant, huh.

Significant indication that Asahi has been sister zoned and choice had be reduced to Yae and Yuna.

Episode focusing on best girl finally! Always good to get more Yae and Uryu moments. I like my women legal lol. This episode showed more of what I’ve kinda been feeling for a while, that Yae is actually really talented and smart, but just puts on the silly facade. She’s the mom of the sisters basically and that’s a ton of responsibility at a young age and so that’s probably her coping mechanism.

Also, going through your whole life with basically everything dictated to you and planned out sounds horrible. Uryu showing up and making her think about what SHE actually wants is awesome. That vending machine scene was pretty good to me because it really summed up her mental state. She’s indecisive and struggles with making decisions because she’s never had to really do it. Even with running the shrine, she had their teacher who gave them advice. Uryu’s kind of a shining beacon to her.

Dropping the ice cold drink down Uryu’s back was messed up tho lmao.

Speaking of decisions, I enjoyed Asahi’s segment of the episode but I would’ve liked to have seen her take the scholarship and go to Tokyo tbh so she can kinda grow on her own. I know it’s wholesome and all to have the sisters together, but Asahi going away from home would’ve been a nice path for her. Plus it’s a year from now so it wouldn’t have been immediate. Cute scenes though!

When they do the wholesome older brother/younger sister dynamic with Uryu and Asahi it’s way better than the cringe age gap romance. Keep it this way please.

Team Yae all the way! She's a multitalent, beautiful, well proportioned and sincere.

Asahi is too young and more like a imouto. And Yuna can go an be a tsundere somewhere else; she's just insincere.

So Yae isn't as much of an airhead as it seems with her being knowledgeable in mathematics and having other talents but she can still be indecisive as shown by standing at a vending machine for 30 minutes (unless it was on purpose to get under Uryu's skin which worked if that was the case).

I wonder how the meeting with the girls' head priestess trainer will go, my guess is that they will reach some sort of compromise to get her to keep giving advice/training.

Very nice episode for Yae and Asahi, and I guess really all three sisters as a whole, they all got over their rough patches thanks to Uryu and are now tighter than ever. In regards to Yae’s bit, she’s a lot smarter than she appears huh, knowledge must be stored in the boobs lol, quite wild that she spent all that time choosing a drink tho, I can be pretty indecisive myself but not for half an hour lol, but I really liked how Uryu helped Yae here, it may not be his business but he sure knows exactly what to say, kinda unfortunate the bath scene wasn’t as spicy as his dream made it seem tho lol.

And I also really liked Asahi’s bit, I thought for a moment she wouldn’t need the Uryu pep talk but the reveal that she might be going to Tokyo alone made him act, it was funny how he pretty much just said no to her blackmail lol, but it’s a good thing he did because that reunion was really nice, and of course Asahi isn’t going to Tokyo anyway, a bit anticlimactic but I’m glad they didn’t dwell on it for too long. RIP Asahi tho, got sister zoned, but hey this is Japan, this doesn’t rule her out yet lol, if anything this could strengthen her position depending on what you’re into. And in the end, everything played just like Uryu’s dream, I guess that was bound to happen when he pretty much gave up trying to prevent it while helping the sisters, but really these were good prophecies so it’s not a bad thing they happened, I’m just wondering if Uryu will eventually see something bad that will make him need to be more proactive about stopping it.

Yae is so talented, I can understand why she would want to be at the shrine but she could achieve so much outside of it.
Same with Asahi and running, these 3 just can't live apart from each other.
Now waiting to see the answers they give next time.

Hijita tried hard but couldn't hold it in any longer.
I had a feeling there would be some kind of accident as soon as I started seeing people move those logs.
That was quite the plan Sano came up with to make Haruaki win the race.

I thought it was just me. Even the directing of the episode was flat. Pacing was thrown to the dogs. No real impact at understanding the sisters

All the cute and teasing part aside didn't Yae just basically told Uryu to shut up I am an adult and I don't need your help. I mean yeah he is been nosy but this was kinda unnecessary..

Asahi part was much much better where it felt some actual progress being made. Although it was predictable seeing three of them staying together is still nice.

Last sequence of Uryu of carrying and treating Asahi like a sister was really wholesome.

This episode solidifies my bais of

@WaterMage I don't think it was entirely unnecessary; I'm sure she felt a bit offended. It's true that some of what Uryu said to her was comforting and sweet (and probably why she confronted him playfully, instead of hysterically), but he also called her a child and hesitant. For a 17-year-old to say that to someone who's 20 can hurt your self-esteem a bit, so it's perfectly fine for her to assert her own worth.

@Gnza he wasn't wrong though she took 30 minutes to pick a juice ik it is played for laughs but this is actually concerning+ her dissappercnce habbit he didn't told any of it to look down on her just out of concern. Calling her a child is maybe too much but she indeed acted like one. I don't think she needs to remind his her age for that. They are living for while now too. It is made out be cute but she also said he is controlling bf which she didn't like, again all he did was out of concern and didn't enforced anything.

@WaterMage Even if it is right, having someone list your flaws to your face can be tough.

Plus, Yae's tone was more playful than serious, it’s not something to take to heart. If anything, it felt balanced or deserved on both sides, so there shouldn't be any hard feelings. In fact, I'd even say this exchange brought them closer, more overfamiliar with each other—which, in the end, is what really matters.

@Gnza ofc it didn't I know that. This throw away line will also be forgotten.
But if someone said that to irl me I won't be pleased (well then again I won't meddle into others like Uryu ever).
But that doesn't matter in anime and again who says it kinda important. Yae is a nice caring type so if she was rude it will be overlooked but if it's Yuna it's will be portrayed as tsundere behaviour🤣

Nice episode.

Asahi is too much of a seducer.
Yae is warming up to Uryuu.
Yuna, welp, we didn't get much from her this episode.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Seemed forced to me that at the end she decided not to go to her dream prep. Made everything in the chapter look useless. Liked it anyways. Always gonna love the romcom genre. Can't decide if Yae or Yuna is my favorite, which one should win it's up to the author (Yae should be the clear winner so far tho). I'd end it on Harem tbh

Yae's airheaded behavior actually stems from a very controlling childhood. Uryu is there to stick with her though, no matter if she's being indecisive or got lost again.

Asahi's major reveal of getting a tokyo scholarship and not wanting to tell her sisters was a tricky situation to navigate. Thankfully it got cleared up and she doesn't even want to leave anymore. The sisters have such a great relationship!

5/5, so after holding any expecting to give lower, I have given anime 8/10 rating for now, it really grew on me. This episode gave hope that maybe, just maybe, they might go and do other things with their lives, but no, looks like they will all marry him.
Older sister apparently had darkness of having her ENTIRE LIFE planned for her, even though she is very intelligent. Younger sister apparently has been running [away] (I hope she keeps running).
I fully support these decisions as honestly, seems like living their best life to all marry Uryu and stay with Shrine. Living away and learning away is great, but working at shrine they apparently can live and "help" people, Uryu would still benefit studying medical though, if can stay local.

The eldest daughter Yae in disappearing mode doesn't make things easy for Uryu and the two sisters, and thankfully it took the dream for Uryu to locate her, even if he had to play pretend on being a whiz just to get her attention. Yae certainly is straightforward in her approach, and no thanks to saving Yae out of the cold river and taking a bath in the inn, Asahi giving Yae the chance to bare herself in front of him, he did become the man of his own dreams, being played by the eldest sister.

Asahi just wanting to have some fun, which Yae fills in and Yuna getting all angry, certainly is not what Uryu wanted. Furthermore, Asahi getting scouted to a high school for track and field certainly is a dream awaiting her, but that which cannot be told towards her sisters (much less Yomiko) that both Yuna and Yae instinctively know because of her stubbornness to not tell of her achievements, it'll just tear the sisters apart sooner or later.

The bonds of the Amagami Sisters really go a long way thanks to Uryu.
