| Fuck me this is series is quickly becoming pretty rubbish. There's no reason to worry about anything because Will already beat the best in the school easily. He's already trained before the series starts, I hate when this happens, when the MC is already the strongest before the series even begins and beats everything without difficulty. Sion, Wignall and the rest of the side characters are infinitely better because there interesting, what happens when you get beaten down by someone who contradicts everything you know. The side-characters actually overcome problems meanwhile Will just grinded of screen and is basically the strongest in the verse aside from the magia venders and maybe Professor Edward |

| wow, what a turnaround. The tone of Wistoria had a daring 9th episode and I wonder if it'll continue. I kept watching because of the beautiful art and sound design, and the story went from ok to surprising. The show is still "lagging" behind in terms of not having enough characters respecting Will and I find it a bit irritating but overall a pleasant watch |

It's been the main problem with the anime since about the third episode -- the same trope over and over again --- Will's teammates hate him, he proves them wrong by being incredibly overpowered.
It's horrible writing, and makes the whole damn anime predictable and, so, dull.
And yep, the last half of this episode was pretty good, but that's been the case for so many episodes now. But the first half makes the episode drag so much, I'm playing the whole darn thing on 1.5 speed just to get it over with.
EDIT: And btw, I'll definitely finish the season, as when it's good it can be very good, but just disappointed better scripts weren't insisted upon and, in some episodes, janky animation was allowed to remain in it.

| @WienGirl This is only the first time he has proven a teammate wrong and they set up that false expectation by showcasing a scenario where Will is actually useless. It's not like proving them wrong has reduced their hatred for him. If anything, they are more frustrated with him. Maybe Wignall will be different, but his pride will make that difficult. Also, this episode he didn't prove them wrong by being overpowered, he showed how useful his experience and resourcefulness can be in situations where you don't have an outright advantage in power. Which was honestly surprising, because usually you would be right in that he just beats his enemy by being stupidly overpowered (dodge everything and hit them hard). |
| I'm surprised, but this episode was actually really good. A character that is actually different than the others, an interesting setting and epic battles. Oh, this arc seems really promising, it seems the anime will end in a really good way. |

| Surely something this abnormal and deadly would force a Magia vender to come down and fight in the dungeon, right (don't remember if they are bound to tower and can't leave it ever or something)? Professors dying left and right, monster stampede. How many students died by now? Surely this is a crisis, no? |

Is this the Fire/Incidia Faction's plan/are they involved on this or somebody else's agenda for those two? More questions! LOL And this is why I didn't like Wignall's vibe back when he took the crown, I intuited something was off. Now aside from his haughty elf demeanor, apparently he's carrying emotional baggage of his own circumstances. |

| Okay this is getting tenser and tenser with the attacks in the dungeon, the teachers being killed and our main group falling down and being separated... now the development for the green haired elf is quite interesting especially since it seems like he had a very abusive family and despite acting the way he does he doesn't have any self confidence... at least Will is carrying as always right now |

Damn, Lihanna's thighs looking thick asf lol. I can see why green elf dude respects her now. Speaking of which, I mean, at least unlike the others that are just blatantly hating on Will, he actually triers to use a justified reason with him being "clean" and all. Whatever though, because in the end Will ends up touching him anyways in order to save him from that fall and all.
Though ofc it's that annoying troupe of the person being an absolute bitch and not knowing he first thing about manners, so he's just lashes out on Will... smh. What an ambush though. Not only did they kill all the monsters or whatever, but they also killed the professors??? Wtf.
At least now this dude stopped being cocky and finally admitted to being a failure... it's a start.

| It took a little while but Will is starting to pull his weight. I have to admit he was looking a bit useless for a while. Time for Wignall's backstory. Hopefully, he will start being a little less arrogant in the next episode. |
