| On his way home from school, Natsume spots a white dragon disappearing over the mountain, scattering tiny lights as it goes. From that day, he occasionally sees glimpses of the dragon, a creature said to bring good fortune. Determined to see it more clearly, Natsume sets out to follow the dragon with Nyanko-sensei, who’s eager to catch sight of it too, though it keeps slipping away. One day, they come across Mr. Mustache looking downcast. When they ask why, Mr. Mustache explains that a beautiful comb he cherished has broken. Since then, Natsume has been thinking about finding a replacement for Mr. Mustache's broken comb. With an idea in mind and some help from the curious members of the Dog Circle, he resumes the search for the white dragon. |

| Nice looking dragon. Nyanko-sensei always manages to amuse me. :3 It was fun to see Chobihige a.k.a Mr. Mustache and the rest of the Dog Circle again. So, that dragon was Chobi all along. Wow. Cool twist. |

| I don't see why Natsume doesn't just ride his bike. He may not be able to ride on the mountainsides, but he could cover a lot of distance to catch up if he rode along roads. Holy shit, Chobi was the beautiful white dragon all along!? What a reveal after 7 seasons. Nice whiskers. He probably stays in that transformed state most of the time and hides his identity from his friends to avoid unwanted attention since dragons are so revered, and people would even flock to catch a glimpse of him, whether to admire his beauty or for a sign of a good omen. One of the most unexpected yet great episodes. |

| I can't remember the last time a plot twist made me literally scream "What?!" in anime, and I never thought it would happen watching Natsume Yuujinchou. I did not see it coming at all. |
| The usual gang is back and Hinoe. She's as beautiful as ever. Natsume ain't the same without them. Beautiful and fun episode. Knew Chobi was the dragon. Looks magnificent though. |

| @RobertBobert He was upset regarding his own old broken comb. Only Natsume was successful in all attempts of spotting and chasing him. So he wouldn't know if the entire party was after his scales. Although considering Chobi's intelligence, he would have put everything together when Natsume communicated that he needed the scales for his friend before the very last disappearance. |

| that was an unexpected plot twist! who would've thought big headed chobi's real form is the magnificent creature they've all been trying to catch a glimpse of AND get a scale from to replace chobi's broken comb? lol nice, lighthearted episode that is filled with all of natusume's yokai friends; he has indeed grown so much & grown more comfortable seeing and hanging around yokais. |

| Natsume sees a dragon shedding shiny sparkling scales. He then finds out Chobihige is depressed since his comb is broken. Natsume is hell bent on gathering a shiny dragon scale to gift to Chobihige so he can make a new comb! The dog circle finds out and everyone offers to help. After the gift is given, we find out Chobi is actually the dragon! Neat! The episode ended with me going awwww, that's so sweet and a cool twist too. Really love this show. |
