Hello
I watched anime since I was young, but didn't start watching it religiously until I was 10. My first anime was Sailor Moon, but the first anime I got super into was One Piece. I like fantasy and slice of life. I usually avoid heavy drama, like Scum's Wish.
I'm into action and adventure, but I love the wholesome, slice-of life animes too. and am an isekai-loving weeb. I read a lot of webtoons of reincarnation stories. No matter how repetitive the themes are, I am trash and will read it all. My favorite right now is The Male Lead's Little Lion Daughter.
Most rewatched/read series
I can go back and watch these series over and over again. One piece I've watched 600 episodes twice. Natsume yuujinchou: whole series 6 times. Kekkai sensen: 4 times. History's strongest desciple Kenichi: read it 4 times. Gintama: I watch a few of my favorite episodes from time to time quite often. A place further than the Universe: I've watched 3 times. Mob psycho 100 I've watched twice and I love replaying my favorite scenes.
Best Isekai
I feel like I've been watching and reading too many isekai's as an escape from reality tbh. But I don't mind. It fuels my heart and my imagination.
If I could have a day to hang out with anime characters, who would they be?
It would be so much fun hanging out with Luffy. I feel like Klaus would be healing and relaxing to be around. I want a day just to spoil Tanjiro and let him be a teen, bless him. I also want to take Anya out and spoil her. Vash is too nice. I'd like a day for him to relax and not be so self-sacrificial.

I think I have seen the first trope case several times in anime, movies, and tv shows; I love Friends, but Ross has to be the best example of girl A seeing his boyfriend, Rachel, talking with someone else and making a huge deal out of it. The second trope seems really specific, where have you watched it? I watched Oshi no Ko some hours ago and it lowkey reminds me of it hahaha.
I think I am the opposite; I can handle gore and police shows; but, as much as I am liking My Home Hero, it´s giving me a lot of anxiety. I don´t want to spoil myself by reading the manga, so I am patiently waiting to see the outcome of episode 2.
I saw you are watching Death Mount Death Play, I saw the first episode and got instantly hooked by how crazy everything looks. I love the opening, I found the full version and cannot stop listening to it.
Sorry for that huge paragraph only for Ghoul School hahaha, since I was, and still am, very hyped by it. It got me a lot of laughs. I think Gintama fans would find it good too since the type of humor is very similar.
It is hard to put everyone in just one category, which is why I think it is nice and remarkable how your favorites are wholehearted characters who don´t hide their emotions and intentions. Honestly, sometimes I would like to have a dislike characters list, there are some that I cannot stand hahaha.
I think Akira is a character who would look up to his death to see how it is going to be, he is so crazy I cannot stop liking him. I see, you are starting the Kyoto trip arc, I liked it a lot, it had amazing revelations and also raised more interrogatives. I agree with you, Sano mellowed a lot since the first chapters, at first I did not like him that much, but he is a softy at heart and cares a lot about Haruaki. I know Sano´s brother wants to take him back to God, but I am more interested in who is his informant. So far I suspect two characters, Ogata Rin, the Fuujin, and Odawara, the lamp student.
I also loved Miki-sensei´s family arc. After Haruaki´s lost his soul, I truly did not know how he was going to be saved. I enjoyed the fight, how Marshmallow wanted to save Haruaki even if he died, and how Harukai and Rintarou met as kids; the latter was really heartwarming. I only wished more of the students were there, especially Sano´s group. I liked the Nyuudou family arc a lot, especially Utagawa´s past and how much she wanted to apologize to Nyuudou. Plus, it was shocking when Akira stabbed her in the chest, I did not expect that at all, but the kick on the crotch was funny; he deserved that.
The concert in front of the Mandragora´s was really cute and funny, and I frankly liked when that ghost girl appeared at the end of the Haunted school boot arc; I thought the ghost was going to be scarier, but the way she smiled at the class was really sweet. I cannot agree more, the number of precious moments in Ghoul School is precious and heartwarming. I really want it to be adapted into an anime.
My predictions are: one of the students is the information of Sano´s brother, but I don´t know if that student is also the person Karasuma saw at the festival. There is going to be an arc for Sano´s, maybe similar to Nyuudou. And there is one more that is related to the principal, but I think you will see it after finishing the Kyoto trip arc. Those are some of the few I can remember so far.
I honestly liked it a lot; I found the lyrics translated a few days ago and I think the song symbolizes the feelings of a father wanting to do even the impossible to save his daughter and family while knowing unthinkable hardships are coming. The lyrics - The fact that you will die someday, It hurts just to imagine it - I think represent a lot of his actions in the first episode. Just like you say, he is thrown into the underworld, and just because of how much he loves his daughter. I am also an anime-only viewer, but I can see how dark is going to be, a salaryman and his wife against the mafia. So, I liked the opening for how calm and cute it is, while hiding the darkness upcoming. I read the comments here on MAL, there is a post about people who hated it because they did not think it was suitable for the anime.
Yes, I saw the first episode of Hell´s Paradise and I will follow it from now. It gave me Kimetsu no Yaiba vibes.
I never watched Guilty Crown, but I saw some clips on Youtube about it; and then, one day appeared a video of Hare´s death; her final moments were beautiful and devastating at the same time. I still don´t know if I will watch it; I read several comments about it being a masterpiece, while others criticized how idiotic the MC was for choosing the other girl.
My way of choosing them is a mix of everything; I like Nico Robin, Minene Uryuu, and Airi for how captivating they were, Kageyama, Giyuu, and Satowa for how hardworking they are, and Madara, Gintoki, and Hiroomi for being funny. But, overall I love compelling and caring characters.
I know adding Akira to the list could be contradicting, but his selflessness in helping Utagawa and the little girl Haruaki saved was remarkable, On the other hand, I would also add the principal mainly for the scene where he said to Haruaki how much he wanted to show Seimei the results of his hard work.
I wish Ghoul School could receive more attention; it is really an amazing story way too underrated. Sorry for being annoying about it hahaha, I reread some chapters, and I have some ideas as to where the story is going.
By the way, I saw we are watching the same anime this season. What do you think about the opening of My home hero? I read several viewers are angry that the opening song sounds too much like a pop song for such a dark anime.
I saw that pattern. I recognized most of them, and it is indeed easy to love Luffy, Naruto, Koro-sensei, Haruaki, Klaus, Tanjiro, and Hare for how caring and selfless they can be. Twice is also easy to like, he tried to save the people who saved him and gave him a place to belong; to be honest, even though he was a villain, I am happy when the video of Hawks killing him was streamed.
Tegami Bachi, I read the synopsis and it looks interesting; I agree with you, the art looks beautiful, I am going to add it to watch it someday.
I like that Haruaki is in your favorites, and I actually like several of your favorite characters. I´d like to add Kurai to my list, I think he is really funny and I love how crazy he can be, plus I have a feeling he is going to have his own arc. Sadly I don´t have extra space.
By the way, who is the character in your profile picture?
I am reading Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajumemashita, and I truly liked your review. I also think it is an amazing manga that deserves more recognition.
And...Happy new year to you also. :D
