bruh this useless post, cause unlike zenitsu shi doesn’t feel forced he actually feels like an actual character plus the show is goofy anyways so it fits the theme. zenitsu is hated because his character just feels so forced and the show is more serious. My personal opinion

Dan Da Dan: introvert - extrovert

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I don’t really find him that annoying tbh. I haven’t read the manga yet but from what I’ve watched I find him to be really relatable but not in the “literally me” kind of way, the scene where the girl acts like she’s super into him and then walks off talking about how she was messing with him really hit hard as a similar situation constantly happens to me

I don't really see a problem with Ken. He just acts his age. Since he's been a loner for some time and has developed more quirky hobbies and interests, it makes sense for him to have a few quirks himself. This series is largely comedy, so he's a perfect MC for this in my books. His banter with Momo is so entertaining.
Demon Slayer is an entirely different genre, though, with a much different focus. I think it's just your preferences which don't allign with this.

Mate, Zenitsu is on another level of bullshit entirely, I have no problem with Ken, and he's also in DanDaDan which is a "comedy" anime so that character fits just fine in these types of animes, but Zenitsu, on the other hand, feels forced in Demon Slayer, that anime is way more serious so Zenitsu feels like a shitty character the author shoehorned in it just to please the 10-year-old kids with all his retarded as fuck screaming, ear rapes and pathetic attempts at comedy.

It's all about the "Tonal Whiplash", Ken fits in this anime so I don't feel the Tonal Whiplash with that character, but Zenitsu doesn't fit in an anime like Demon Slayer, that shitty character is shoehorned in it so I feel the Tonal Whiplash in it, seriously, Demon Slayer is a great anime and I won't take that away from it, but it also has one of the worst Tonal Whiplash I've seen in an anime, hell, it's probably the worst one.

Okarun's annoying? what about him? as far as socially awkward boys go, he's up there for me as a character... plus he's really cool when he transforms. not the greatest MC ever so far or anything but he's cool to me and i have really low tolerance for shit main characters like Deku for example.

The fact that you have to stoop to shitting on Zenitsu, a one-dimensional side character in a different show, to prop up Ken really doesn't sound as grand of a compliment as you think it does. Okarun is pretty lame overall and this series is hard-carried by Momo.

Zenitsu is just cringe to have the basic shounen character traits to be the comedy relief while Okarun is like this because of his loneliness and sad past. so two different things, like Gear 5 Luffy and Okarun's transformation comparisons the only thing they have in common is the hair nothing else.
