A little about me is that I have been addicted to anime, manga, and light novels for a very long time. I have read a wide range of anime and manga from the 1900s to very modern anime. I don't take pleasure in anime adaptations too much anymore, so I am primarily reading manga and light novels unless some really good anime adaptations pop up.
I just want to warn anyone who sees my anime and manga history that my ratings are very lazily done, and I don't think much when I rate anime and manga. I haven't gone back and changed any ratings from the first anime I watched, even though my tastes have changed a lot. I don't bother rating most material unless I have strong feelings about it, and if I enjoy something enough to want to re-read or re-watch the entire thing, it's a 10. If I go to the source material and enjoy that, regardless of how bad the anime adaptation may be, that is a 10 as well. This is why my mean scores for manga and anime are so skewed. I rate purely based on enjoyment. Sometimes poor characters can be made up with a good story, and vice versa. I also don't usually notice poor animation unless it's really bad, hence, I even enjoyed Record of Ragnarok very much as a manga reader.
As a note, I have also not gone through and found the time to yet clean up my PTW list as I mostly dislike genres now that I would have loved when I was younger. If you have any desire to discuss any specific manga or anime I've read, feel free to message me whenever. I'm happy to discuss about my favourite series with anyone!
