Ok this shit was CRAZY. Lmao I did not think we would see people getting their eyes stabbed out and killed in this show. I thought this was a toxic romance with the yakuza stuff in the background, but nah they’re going hard into the gang shit. Yoshino and Kirishima were going crazy in that club.
Kirishima’s anger is insane, bro been beating up people older and stronger than him for years now and even when going up against grown ass gang members bro feels no fear. The look on my face when he took out that fork and stabbed buddy..
For her part, Yoshino did well too. She might act refined at times but when she get mad that Kirigaya-gumi come out lmao. It is a little funny how much of a square she can be at times tho like when she went in the club and saw people kissing and got shocked. ALSO, wtf she really sold her kidney? I thought that was just a joke damn.
Looks like we got a new love rival showing up 👀 things should get really interesting from here. Still not understanding the art style

Still bugs me that all the main protagonists look like people in their mid 20s but wear highschool clothes. It feels like 90s soapoperas with 30-somthing actors playing the role of late teenagers.
I feel that the only reason I'm still watching this trainwreck is Yoshino, I like her strong personality, though her recklessness is also something to dislike about her.

| @Kimurah In the manga there is a recurring gag where when Yoshino is not in her highschool uniform, people have a hard time believing she's not an adult woman in her 20's-30's. In the first episode Yoshino says that people think she looks like a hostess and that gag keeps popping up in the story. So the author drew Yoshino intentionally to seem more mature. |

Wait, so why did she sell her kidney? Like someone else said above, I thought she was just joking last episode. Didn't catch anything about her really needing money, since they said they'd make sure she had everything she needed, and Kirishima even said he owed her money this episode?? Did she just sell it to intimidate him or??
| @Herman97 Yes, she did that in order to intimidate him and not let him walk all over her. What she did was super stupid but it also shows Yoshino cares a lot about her honour and that at least it's admirable. But it also shows that more than stupid, she's very impulsive, way beyond reckless and that attracted Kirishima because he could see Yoshino also has her crazy side, it's not just him who is crazy. That made him empathize with her more since he sees parts of himself in her, since at the start he thought Yoshino was too normal, bordering on boring and that made him lose interest in her until she showed she has a psycho side to her as well. |

It shouldn't be that hard to create teenage character designs. | I've read the manga first, so I'm not surprised, but I thought it was interesting to hear both sides of the argument about the scene where she sold her kidney. I thought it would be a bit of a waste to judge whether or not the anime was interesting based on this part alone and then drop out if it didn't fit. |

| 5/5, while typically I would agree that actually selling the kidney instead of pretending to is stupid (also no way she recovered that bloody quick), I actually like it and everything else. They both are capable and get stuff done. While she's definitely better than the hottie, they are a really good match and I see them going to the top! |
