What did you think of the fight from episode 2?

Imo it was just OK and I don't understand the praise for it at all, some even want to include it in the top 10 fights this year xDD The animation and choreography were just average, there was no really good and memorable animation sequence, two lights flying in the sky don't make any impression. Besides, the writing wasn't very good either, the fact that Ichigo didn't use bankai at such an important moment was stupid, you go to fight the final boss, you take Chad with you who will only get in the way and you won't use your strongest weapon bruh. After writing all this I still don't think this fight was bad, I appreciate that the studio added something from itself and that can be appreciated but this fight still doesn't deserve such great praise xD |

good fight, obviously the hardcore bleach fans are exaggerating a bit, but that's normal. I mean that's just what fanbases do. |

@Ghost_Davo Yes, but the glazing in this case seemed really exaggerated to me, for a moment I thought it was some kind of meme xD |

It was decent. But what got me most hyped in this episode was not just the fight itself, but the entire soundtrack and the tension that was created. But analyzing only the fight itself separately, as you said it was "ok", but the episode as a whole, for me it was perfect. |

I think for that fight, being average is forgivable. There's so many fights that's still coming up that you don't want it to out stage the others. If it did, people would expect the others to be the same quality. I'm expecting a lot in the final one, though. At least, that's my thoughts on it. |

I honestly just would like a near even fight instead of them always being 1 sided in favor of one or the other. Bleach never fixed this it’s either one is completely dominating and controlling the fight then flips to the other until somebody wins |

"I see the future and you cannot win", while everyone just accepts it until MC does something about it, is overused and lame if you ask me. I don't need to see the next episode to tell you that's where this is going. Animation was ok but nothing we haven't seen before. As others have said, watching 2 colored lines bounce off of each other isn't anything revolutionary. Been a huge Bleach fan but I feel like Tite Kubo was running out of ideas when this was written |

My dear soul king, did I watch this episode knowing that now I have to deal with the anxiety of longing for more? The sound track is marvelous animation quality is every good Fight choreography is well done I'm going to be honest, because I've read the manga until it's final chapter, and back then I've always felt that there was something lacking in this final arc, like it was rushed and simplified... And I still feel that here. However, the anime itself is marvelous, a great adaptation! I'm an old bleach fan, and I'm happy to see it animated again!. also, Soundtrack, the op, the ending maintaining a long tradition of quality. XD |

But I'm satisfied that at least it ended with a somewhat ok ending. The animation is Good overall, the choreography is ok enough. The main problem is that from now on we will be seeing fight after fight, so I'm hoping they spend their budget well... |

It was a very well-animated fight that kind of resembles those from Dragon Ball. I liked it, and I’m happy that we’re getting original anime content and fights. The best thing is that we’ll get even better moments in this cour. I wonder what’s so funny about including it in the top 10 fights of the year. I see a Naruto pfp, so I suppose someone is a bit jealous that his fav anime got poor treatment and is now on indefinite hiatus. The studio doesn't even care anymore about those four announced Naruto episodes xDDDDDDDD |

@utopia- this, for me it was more the background and the story plot they introduced in the episode than the fight itself. The fight was more about the visuals and watching bleach with this high quality animation hypes me a lot. The ost was totally on point too. I have bigger expectations on this cour than the past ones. Great episode. |

Haven't heard of any crazy fights being released this year and I am not surprised that people write like that, cause outside Harley vs Katana, MHA fight [seen clips but I ain't caught up with it yet], That vice captain fight in kaijuu 8, the vice-leader fight with mc in Wind Breaker and Uryuu vs Senjumaru, so it isn't hard to put that particular fight in top 10, wouldn't do that personally but it is what it is. [Solo Leveling and Frieren fights to be included here, forgot about them, One Piece excluded it's style is the worst for my eyes so no matter what happens there is not included in my favourites] And the fight itself is "special" for manga readers because it hasn't happened in the manga... Ba-Cii10 said: Besides, the writing wasn't very good either, the fact that Ichigo didn't use bankai at such an important moment was stupid, you go to fight the final boss, you take Chad with you who will only get in the way and you won't use your strongest weapon bruh. The fight isn't over and there will be even more for Ichigo but that's reserved for Manga Readers, go back to the trailer and you'd notice 2 clips which hasn't happened yet, also using Bankai against Almighty, weren't it enough to tell that it's not gonna change anything. I guess you've forgotten how cour 2 went so Chad and Orihime are there cause they appeared next to Ichigo when Yhwach, Jugram and Ishida went directly to Royal Palace and from that technique the blast separated everyone and others were busy with other Stern Ritter it's not like they suddenly stopped making the havoc in seiretei, it has stopped after the Auswahlan which surprise, surprise happened when Ichigo was already in the sky. Yoruichi appeared at the lab to assist them and Ganju is stubborn and also joined, there was no one else to join them. And it doesn't matter whom he would take with him at this point everyone would go into his way x) edit - As many people has stated it, just because Episode 6 and 7 aswell as couple other fights shown you how to best looking fights in TYBW style looks like, doesn't mean that suddenly the average looking fight is bad/decent, it is still good and still visually better than in majority of anime, if you doubt it than pause at random frames take a look at quality, background and many stuff, take a look at Squad 0 cities and the detail itself |

@18927 Naruto is not my favorite anime and I didn't even know that there were going to be four new episodes xDD Apart from that, I wish Bleach all the best, I like this anime and I hope that the next fights will have animation worthy of all this hype xD |

The fight was okay but needed because if I remember correctly the og manga arc had Ichigo BARELY do anything after his training with squad zero, so it felt like a cop out to say he was stronger when the manga made it look like he wasn't. I'm happy the fight was included because we finally got to see Ichigo do something more with his new strength and I sincerely hope the studio shows off even more scenes with him flexing it too (please for the love of God make the Uryu fight happen and Bankai powers be revealed Kubo I'm BEGGING). This part of the arc if I remember has most of the major fights in it too so this fight can't be the best or go too all out, or else the rest of the major fights will look subpar or underwhelming. Idk why Bleach Fans are still so defensive and quick to insult people when there's legitimate criticism to be made on the show. Only trolls are saying the fight was bad, and only glazers are saying the fight is at the top of the fights in Bleach so far (which I don't believe at all). Everyone else questioning or criticizing the fight because so many people are overhyping it is actually warranted. |

@Ba-Cii10 if you think that this fight isnt as good as those other 10 fights then i assure you, you are a complete troll and a liar, not to mention there wasnt any writing issue here you are just ignorant, ichigo can not use bankai yet cause there is a reason why he needs to use it for the final fight, chad is ichigos best friend and he wont get in anyones way, not to mention the animation and choreography wasnt average it was good, dont come up with lies if you are ignorant |

@charman1995 bruh...give me a minute where the animation is at the level of any of these top 10, there is no memorable animation sequence in this fight, pretty drawings are not enough because the actual animation where you can see the characters moving is wooden/average and the rest of this fight is colorful lights and explosions. Stop glazing and wait for the fights that are actually worthy of all the hype. Dude... I'm ignorant because there's a reason why Ichigo couldn't use bankai in this fight... It's a shame we don't learn about it in this or the previous episode (maybe I don't remember something so you have a chance to prove me wrong) I'm curious what it is because not using all of his power in the face of the end of the world is.. yes "Chad is Ichigo's best friend" that's why he takes him to a fight in which he's useless and can easily die just by Jesus' farts, his presence there makes no sense, even if Ichigo had a chance with Yhwach, he took his weak point in the form of his friends with him xD Chad is there only so that fans don't accuse the author of forgetting about the characters and you overuse the word "ignorant" |

GREAT,but really too short. So I voted "very good". In term of animations I think we will have better. The only problem I have with start of this cour,is that Pierrot promise us a Upgrate about the animation quality. For me until now it's the same as cour2(that's was already excellent). |

Wouldn't call this the best fight of the year, but objectively it had good animation and is in the top 10. A sakugatard might disagree but they're mostly kids who only consume shounen, thus they have a very warped perception of what the medium is due to brainrot. This wasn't even a high-priority centrepiece episode but the animation was good enough for people to think so. Its biggest strength isn't even the visuals but how much the anime extended the scene--in the manga it was more of an altercation contained within like a single chapter. +The writing is good. Ichigo not using his Bankai here is, in fact, a smart move on Kubo's part. |

@Sakura_Kasugano I think more than anyone else, Kubo knows that there isn't a better opportunity than this to finally have his vision properly actualized. He's the general supervisor of the anime and actively participates in the production, so I do think the final arc will be done justice here. Especially if we are to go by the anime-original content already shown. |

@Bolt4ever if there was a reason, they should have emphasized it somehow, e.g. Ichigo says in his mind "oh shit, I can't use my bankai" xD but no kidding, not using the strongest weapon in the face of the destruction of the world must have a really good explanation |

The fight was good but not very good so my vote goes for "Ok". There was barely any choreography here, it was mostly people shooting laser beams from a distance, explosions, and sword clashing without the choreography part, it was still good though so I'm not even complaining about this fight or the animation, I simply don't like this arc and I'm only watching it due to the animation and production quality since those things at least are great, if it wasn't I wouldn't have bothered with it. |

Average, because the animation was nice. But the fight was completely lackluster and predictable. The final boss was just holding back so Ichigo wouldn’t lose in a humiliating way after awakening his 'true power.' So that was pretty lame |
