When I will be sober and motivated I'll change my profile to what it looked like before x).
Half French half Polish.
Right now in process of Master Degree of Archeology at the same university as the one where I was studying History which is the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań as you might guess I've already graduated Bachelor's History x).
I am too lazy to correct/make a new graphical representation/introduction so I guess that text shall be enough to satisfy ya souls!
2024 - In summer I have finished P1CMAS course which allows me to scuba dive to the 20 meters depths in any scuba diving resorts in the world.
As expected:
I speak Polish as that's my national language and English on decent level I suppose, at January of 2025 for a week I had to go to France and before that I was pretty sure I can't speak French anymore, it turned out that I am with French pretty decent too, but I don't think I am able to write in French as I would need to take some lessons for that - which perhaps I will plan for as I shocked not only my family and others, but also myself with how much I could remind myself of French despite not living there for almost 21 years before I visited my family in 2025 [obviously I was in France earlier too but that is still around 13-15 years of almost completely not speaking French at all]
As an experiment on myself I came back to try out Duolingo - I have no idea if that's actually helpfull or not, it's just cheap. So since the end of 2024/beginning of 2025 I decided to check if I could learn Chinese and to what extend [Without Hanzi as memorising symbols is beyond my possibilities]
If I don't reply to notification on forums, than I am busy with Bleach TYBW cour 3 rewatches, reaction watches and other stuff around that
Sorry if i comment here, but i kinda spam that "Regret Post" haha.
About your Regrets, i mean they are quite normal. The Accident was just an Accident, dont forget even Masters make Mistakes, nothing is confirmed unless you are a Machine.
And about the second one, its just normal to get used to it. When i was 17 i almost cried like a Bitch when i had to put my Cat down, i visited her Grave each week for 2 years. But when my loved Grandparents died, i was also kinda "used" to it. Even tho its kinda insulting since i got used to it because of a Cat. Still thats how it works, new Experiences make us ready for repeat.

Bruh! This year I'm trying to teach myself Spanish through duolingo because of my job, but I was debating Chinese! Is there any reason you decided to choose Chinese? I love the language and I took it very briefly in college. If it was more applicable at my job I would 100% choose Chinese.
Positive reinforcement creates better psychological links in a person's brain towards the task they are performing. So, yes, I'd totally recommend it rather than negative reinforcement that makes a simple task feel like, you've said it, punishment (and nobody wants to be punished all the time, hence the procrastination problem becomes even worse).
So, yes for positive reinforcement & no for the negative type.
Try putting some rewarding fun stuff to your to-do list. Add in an entry for watching an episode of an anime you follow, an entry for drinking a cup of hot cocoa, or even an entry for taking a 30 minutes nap. Stuffing your to-do list with nothing but serious stuff will demotivate you from completing the tasks. Just adhere to the list with the exact timing of all things on it and everything shall go smoothly.
