| Wouldn't be a Shinobu episode without her eating them classic donuts now would it. But yeah, all to distract Shinobu, and I guess in a way it kinda worked. But who cars, because MY GOAT ONONOKI IS HERE AGAIN!!!! So glad she's been so prevalent this season. Sad she was only there to tell Koyomi about the summons from Hachikuji, but hey, we even got Hachikuji, so that's a dub. But yeah, Suicide-Master's in big trouble now, so all that's left now is to revive her... via Koyomi fighting her... LOL. Nothing but the two best lolis playing twister to make my day 😌  |

| I mean I’m not asking what was the need of such a rigorous training regime, because of course it’s anime… and because of course it’s monogatari over that, so yeah, but people are literally having suicidal thoughts, so I’d say they dial down it a bit. By the way, we can kind of guess what would have happened with the remaining two girls who are yet to be found, but I just cannot ignore the fact how Araragi dodged the question of him having a girlfriend lol. Makes sense to find a vampire, we’ll need a vampire, so being the resident vampire Shinobu is, of course Araragi would ask her only, but yeah, to think it took him one complete year, and countless near death experiences to finally ask about who made Shinobu a vampire is… just something else lol. Meta references aside, great to see how Hachikuji botching while taking Araragi’s name will NEVER get old… and she doing it intentionally at that xD Now yeah, Deathtopia is already being found, but we know yeah she needs to be revived… and needs to be asked a plenty of things… can’t wait for the next episode. Also yeah, dude always said he’ll land in hell but see, he did in heaven, and moreover already have a naked girl right in front of him… that’s why he’s goat-ed. |

| Yes, the sword part was a katanagatari reference, another work of NisiOisin. Episode was great. Loved seeing more of Hachikuji's antics and word plays. A fun Shinobu focused episode. |
| Another fun episode as a whole, story is picking up well and the ending only promises for more interesting stuff with Araragi meeting Princess Acerola there. Liked this more than the previous episode that kicked off this arc. |

| No OP in this episode. Maybe 3rd episode will have it like Nadeko's part. Man, I keep forgetting Gaen's VA is Satsuki Yukino. She's such a good VA and still sounds so good. 7:14, 7:49 That Urusei Yatsura sound effect tho. Tho it might just be a common sfx that's used in a lot of different things. But @ 19:45 that's definitely a Japanese Spider-Man reference. Finally, Mayoi-chan appeared in this episode! And she didn't do the gag with just Araragi but Shinobu as well. I feel spoiled now. So, why is Suicide-Master mummified now? The twists just don't end. It has barely been 2 episodes and Araragi has to go to hell already. Probably for being a lolicon. But he ends up in heaven instead?! I have no idea wtf was that ending... Can't wait for more episodes. Hope it won't end after this arc. |

Shinobu is finally talking about Suicide Master. Considering she's still that small she probably hasn't eaten as often. Plus I'm curious how long suicide master has been in this state. If she's been in that state and Hachikuji found her like that then the lead on those two girls seems to have gone cold. On another note, I get that Kanbaru is open about her preferences but maybe she shouldn't have put that in her profile card XD. |

| While the plot of this arc remains complex and gripping, I was happy to see the classic word play between Araragi and Mayoi flubbing his name in many ways once more. Heck, even Shinobu joined in on the fun! XD Still, seeing Suicide-Master in the position she is in makes sense as to why Mayoi called for Araragi and Shinobu for help. Thanks to Shinobu flexing her sword skills, she had to kill Araragi in order to send him to "hell", which isn't the first time that he's been there, although part of her reasoning due to her dislike of the child booster seat in his car did make me laugh out loud. Once again, this was another great episode as we delve further into this issue involving Suicide-Master. The post-credit scene was certainly something! You're a lucky guy, Araragi... |

| Quite the fun episode this time with some great shenanigans with Shinobu and Hachikuji, and a short bit with Ononoki as well, she had nice star glasses there. I really enjoyed Araragi trying to stall Shinobu, bro was being very obvious about it the whole time, portraying the moments where Shinobu was catching on as a car going out of control was hilarious lol. But in the process of suppressing Shinobu, Araragi learned about Suicide-Master like we the viewers did just recently, it was funny how Shinobu romanticized the vampirization like Araragi did with Shinobu tho lol. And things ended up taking Araragi and Shinobu (in a booster seat) to Hachikuji which gave us some new iterations of the “flubbed it” bit which was fun, not even Shinobu was spared lol, but maybe Araragi should have stayed home because now he’s right on suspect number 1 but she’s apparently mummified similarly to the basketball girls before, how the hell did that happen lol, more is going on here than we once thought, and we didn’t have much to think about to begin with. And I’m surprised they went with the option of sending Araragi to hell again so quickly, they were ready to sacrifice this lad immediately lol, it’s cool tho how they referenced another work by the same author with that sword scene, I haven’t seen it but perhaps I’ll check it out one day. But now things have gotten even weirder with Araragi ending up not in hell, but heaven, and Acerola is there, huh? Is she a separate existence from Shinobu or something, or is this something different? The mystery getting wilder as we go is quite exciting, looking forward to seeing how Araragi’s visit to the afterlife goes this time. |
| Lots of nostalgia, even as the mystery rages on... Slowly, the arc in Wazamonogatari is starting to tie into this current arc, as Deathtopia and Shinobu's lore was just as important here it seems. While the mystery of the missing basketball players continued, this episode was very nostalgic, as we got to see Mayoi and Koyomi's awesome gag, as well as Shinobu eating donuts. What better moments could we ask for? The last segment was very interesting, as Koyomi met the Beautiful Princess in what seemed like heaven, and that has me very intrigued to see what comes next. |

| Ah yes, this is the peak Araragi we know and love, in his natural habitat surrounded by young girls throughout the episode lmao. I really hope we see more Higasa in the future, cause like I said in the last episode, it really does feel like there's 2 Kanbaru's when they're together and I'll happily take more Kanbaru's, just don't let Senjougahara hear that last statement from her though. SHINOBUUUUUUUUUUU! We're so back. This was a very funny episode, Araragi and Shinobu banter are always peak, though the same can be said for many of the other pairings in this series. I wonder what Ononoki's mission is, is it just watching over Tsukihi or something we don't know yet? I've been curious since the last episode. I'm wondering on when this arc takes place as well, if it's around the same time as Nadeko Draw. Shinobu doing the Araragi and Hachikuji bit was everything to me, that made me scream in happiness inside. Seeing God Hachikuji at work is really awesome to see. I guess she can just conjure waterfall springs from nowhere now. When Hachikuji said there was a young girl she wanted them to meet, I knew it was gonna be Suicide-Master, but damn, she was mummified as well?! Well, cryptobiosis. I think this is solid enough proof that it's not Suicide-Master going around mummifying the Basketball Club members, but the problem now is who? Is there another vampire on the loose out there? Aye, it's so nice to see Kokorowatari again as well. I guess I need to go ahead and watch Katanagatari now. I thought Araragi was just joking, he really did end up in heaven lmao and what in the hell is Princess Acerola doing here? It is going to be very interesting seeing this interaction though, I mean we already kind of saw something like it in Zoku Owarimonogatari, but still, this is the real Princess Acerola seems like. |

Koyomi mentioned in this episode that he's mortal again. I thought that he became a half-vampire again after returning from hell and dealing with Ougi. Or he's saying that because he's not full vampire anymore?
| @Sondfer No he's still the qausi-vampire he was in Bakemonogatari. He simply doesn't believe Shinobu's claim that he may be immortal. as for why he's a quasi-vampire he decided after the events of Ougi dark to re-pact with Shinobu, hence why she's back in her loli state |

@-Kugeki- No he stoped being a quasi-vampire after returning from hell in Owari. The bonding ceremony he did with Kiss-shot at the end did not make him immortal again. That's why he says "I'm no longer immortal" in this episode.

Sad that Suicide-Master is in a coma, I guess I should have seen it coming, they always make this (the really cool young girl Shinobu/Hachikuji is actually the true villain/conflict of the arc) but in this case the villain was just the victim. We did see someone resembling Suicide-Master so I wonder if he split somehow or something, that would be a really monogatari thing to do, like Tora and Neko. No clue why Araragi is in Heaven? tho, and why Princess Acerola is there as well, can't wait for next episode and please bring Suicide-Master! I really need more of her and not just in the resolution. I loved the detail about the immortality tho, that Araragi isn't immortal but he DOES age really really slow, by the time humans are extinct, he will still be the same height, by the time the sun explodes, he will die tho (but from old age) xd. |

| @-Kugeki- I mean that's what I thought as well "everything goes back to normal" Kiss-shot just made him a quasi-vampire again, but it reset the vampirification he had started by transforming so many times, which was a pretty big problem he had, that's the only thing that changed. I mean like you said, Shinobu is still a child, so I doubt he did a bonding ceremony with him still being a human...That's what I would have said any other episode but, the fact that he's in Heaven again, makes me wonder if it's because he's no longer a demon (oni). Doubt it though, since Princess Acerola is also there so it makes no sense. But yeah, the "I'm no longer immortal" is what I said in my other reply, him aging slow doesn't make him immortal but still abnormal |
| Holy shit what a great episode maybe my favourite one so far. I feel like they absolutely perfectly nailed the vibes of the earlier seasons with Araragi back in the spotlight this episode the jokes, humour, screenplay all looked amazing and played out how i use to remember, and of course it's pretty safe to assume with the goat back in the spotlight, so i expected peak cinema. Will also say Araragi's new look has grown on me, specifically his hair. I did find his Hana look a bit meh, but when the promo shots of Monster Season Araragi came out, i could see the vision, now a few episodes deep i can safely say i dig it 100%, second to non behind Kizu's Araragi of course. Also liked the way they did mini recap's of important plots in the previous seasons for new people or people that haven't watched the series in a while, Shinobu and Araragi's connection, the premises of Kizu, past Vampires, failed vampirization zombies from Kabuki arc, all of it flowed in quite naturally in the episodes plot and in general was a nice touch. Absolutely fucking peak how we got to see the dynamic loli gang in it's full power, i was happy enough to see Araragi and Shinobu together on screen again, then the Ononoki jump scare and we got to see Shinobu and Ononoki banter, then God Mayoi's reintroduction and classic flubber was enough to bring a tear to my eye, all of course with Araragi's freak going into full gear, never change man please. Fuck, it was so nice to hear Mayoi's "Kamimashita" again after all these years, and a Shinobu flubber bonus as an extra treat as well. Equally nice how the old Vampires from Kizu and Seishirou Shishirui himself get mentioned, some little nostalgia to poke at, and it was cool to know what caused failed vampirization and thus zombie mummies. Being linked to the Vampires desire's, more reckless they are in the process the higher chance their victim turns into a mummy, and like the show said, i feel like this discovery adds more depth to the classic Kizu scene of Kiss-Shot turning Araragi into a vampire. The link to the alt time line in second season Kabuki arc was crazy, was peak to actually see that throw back and a proper explanation to the cause for the zombies and further explain alt Kiss-Shots emotions. Didn't expect a hell round 2 for Araragi as well, i honestly thought the "medicine" Mayoi was describing would be something simple like blood, but a material from hell is insane. Shinobu also not having second thoughts about slicing Araragi up especially since he put her on a child booster seat got a laugh out of me. Ending was unexpected, i expected Deathtopia to be the surprise from Mayoi's description just not in the state she was in, honestly makes the story more interesting in how she ended up like that, might also beg the question to what her connections to the failed vampirization mummies are. Post credits scene was wild, i remember hell looking funky the last time Araragi went but maybe not to that degree, and of course a Princess Acerola look alike there with him is a killer cliff-hanger. |
