| The food gimmick continues into this show, with more sweets. However, I like the setting of this episode with the Summer festival. To get away from the classroom and school environment is a breath of fresh air. Plus, Osani even wears a yukata for the occasion. One of those nice breather episodes that they deserve. Thi show loves food too much. |

| Raaaaah Osanai in Yukata I’m so moved. The festival scene was too damn short I needed more of that. Shoushimin is funny tho because they’ll have these completely mundane and over dramatic situations like Kobato figuring out how to hide that he ate the Charlotte from Osanai, and it’ll be so engaging that you can’t turn away from the screen 😂 Honestly Kobato deserved to eat it anyway. She had him go get the food and he couldn’t get one so it’s only right he get paid with part of the food. That would’ve been the minimum for me getting out the house in that Japanese summer heat for some bs like this lmao. It’s scary how Osanai was able to piece together that he ate one of the charlottes based on how he wiped his face with the tissue instead of handkerchief. Never try to hide anything from her. It wouldn’t surprise me if she did this on purpose to get Kobato indebted to her to complete the summer food tour lol. Good episode. Kobato may be a great detective but he got a ways to go to become a better criminal |

| The perfect crime? Not really. Osanai saw through it effortlessly. Kinda a reverse from the last episode, this time it was Kobato who did the eating. Damn, do the festival food and sweets look good, tho. As tasty as the pastry may be, personally I dunno if it's worth incurring Osanai's wrath. Kobato got off the hook .. this time. |

| This is the dream-come-true for everyone who has every said "I'd watch a spinoff of X and Y just doing silly things all day long". Exactly what this ep was. Loved it. 5/5. Kobato-kun and Osanai-san's dynamic seems a lot more aggressive when they're not at school. I'm enjoying this side of themselves, they're clearly more comfortable showing their true selves with each other |

| I bet Kobato is regretting with his shins, after he made that joke about Osanai's height, when she was wearing wooden sandals. Oh, interesting to see Kobato's family has a confectionary shop. I'm guessing they're not up to Osanai's taste, seeing as how she's only been eating western style cakes and desserts. Kobato sounded like he was plotting a murder by not leaving any evidence of his "crime"...but it was just him plotting to eat one more cake with Osanai being none the wiser. Devious. And this is coming from the guy who said he wasn't a fan of sweets. And he was exposed in an instant after slipping up, making all his effort pointless. Should have just shared it by cutting the 3rd in half. And now he's on the hook for accompanying her all summer long on her sweets tour. Note: Never F with Osanai. Now I'm curious...why Osanai didn't want to cross paths with her old classmate at the festival, what held up Osanai on day 1 of their summer sweets tour, and who she was on the phone with for so long...her parents? Not all that important in the grand scheme of things, but would have been nice to have those questions that arose briefly touched upon. Overall, a nice and and easy-going episode of just them hanging out at the festival and at home. These two should just officially start dating already if they aren't already. Kengo probably assumes they already are. |

| Hahaha, for a moment I honestly thought Osanai would kill the dude when she found out about the 3rd cake. When Kobato decided to "steal" the cake, I immediately thought "no you fool, don't!" I think this show would work better with more episodes. 10 is too little when most of 1 was spent on THIS. |

| this one of the better episodes in a while because it's just osanai and kobato in this. the way bro just gave into temptation was jokes and i felt bad about him trying to deceive her like that lol but glad she found out, he's not getting away if it's her beloved sweets involved. |

| Probably my favorite episode so far. I don't know why I find this show so engaging to watch. Really makes me want to give Hyouka another try, even though I almost fell asleep watching the first episode. Anyways, I found it terribly amusing at how Kobato went through all that just to hide the fact that he already ate a cake lol. It's impressive how the characters are always in the most mundane situations and spin something into a mystery/something to solve. The way Kobato was relishing in how good the cake was and watching him enjoy it so much was really adorable to see, and the way he was thinking over every single possible evidence he left behind was fun to watch as well. Obviously Osanai was gonna find him out...these characters pay so much attention to every single little detail, it's crazy lol. But yeah, overall a fun little episode. |

| It was a bit infuriating when Osanai sat down but then got a long ass phone call, I mean it seems to always lead to her having an issue with (or losing out on) a dessert/sweet. Also, why was she not able to go with him to eat the sweets she wanted? I figured it would've been easier for both of them to eat at the locations rather than having Kobato bring them to her house, and who was she with on the phone that took so long? Anyways, I thought this was another ok episode and now Kobato got roped into her summer sweets eating plans. |
| Who's this sassy lost child? That was amusing. She looked nice in Yukata. Kobato can be quite childish lol and Osanai might actually be even smarter than we thought. This short but amusing interaction revealed more about the two characters personalities then you'd think. |

| Imagine eating Osanai's pastry and then trying to cover up as flawlessly as someone could.. except it didn't happen lol. Still catching someone just because they used tissue to wipe off sweat and not handkerchief seems like a stretch to me, but hey, works perfectly with this series. Hope he doesn't try eating her sweets next time, I mean we're not sure if things would remain as peaceful as they were this time xD |

| That was too intense. I can't believe how amazing this episode was, my favorite so far. From Kobato enjoying a sweet treat—mind you, it's not just any day that Kobato enjoys something sweet, so this alone is historic to the intensity and brutality of the duel between Kobato and Osanai, I was on the edge of my seat, tense, not knowing who would make the next move to win, deceive, or lose. It was absolute madness, entertaining until the end, and very unique. Even though Kobato's plan was perfect, Osanai is extremely dangerous, and that made Kobato nervous, as he wiped the sweat from his brow. I don't think she is as brutally intelligent as Kobato, but she is more intimidating and titanically perceptive and cautious. |

| That's new level of slice of life. It is short season so I will finish it anyway but I couldn't wait for this episode to finish. It is literally like watching paint dry. I appreciate that some people enjoy it but it is not for me. |

| The best part for me was the name of the great guitar player Jeff Beck on the bakery. Besides that, it was a low energy whisper fest. As to dirtying his handkerchief, he could have gotten a bloody nose.... or blown his nose on it. Saying that only Bavarian Cream could have soiled it was a long stretch and not the only plausible answer. |

| I like the little "twist" with the detective character using his abilities to hide his tracks instead of solve a mystery... was fun just felt a little weird, for someone that thought Osanai could figures by the number of paper tissues they sent, Kobato using a paper tissue to dry his sweat after reach for his handkerfit, was a little reckless... and I think would be better if this bit was a little early, not immediately before Osanai "cracked the case"... they made too obvious what gave him away... |
