Ash might not have killed Sakuya, but he did leave her in a tight spot (at least temporarily). The constant murder in front of Sakuya was definitely leaving her in incredible pain, but thankfully Ash came back at the last moment to save the day and prevent Sakuya from giving up the Geass. Too bad the villain killed himself without giving up any information. Seeing Ash realise that he had fallen for Sakuya was easily the funniest moment of the episode (the entire crowd actually laughed out loud at that part which is extremely rare from what I've seen of Japanese cinemas). It was also really cool to see some actual cameo appearances again, with Suzaku, Nunally and even Akito amongst others reappearing. Unfortunately this came at a cost though, with the neo-Brittanians launching a new machine that seems to be more deadly than almost any before, absolutely tearing through people and buildings like they are nothing. It will be interesting to see what their plan actually is with this new attack and how they will be able to be stopped in the coming episodes.

Ash really got handed fresh Raspberry-flavored trauma when he was finally starting to come to terms with Roze. Can't help but imagine how Sakuya's rescue would've played out if he learned the truth of his favorite cafe maid sooner.

And did Arthur just communicate an entire paragraph of info to Suzaku with a single look? (Cool cameos btw)

I really hope they keep the story focused on Ash and Sakuya. It's nice to see the cameos but I really hope they don't play a massive part and derail the plot.

@chakracat probably a long ass battle including them but main plot (finishing) would be done by roze and Ash.

WTF. Ok, so now small Japan-based Britania wannabes actually have technology that is way upper of the rest of the world. None of big nations before or after could do anything close , but few extremists could, why not. Next Code Geasswill have aliens invasion or time travels, I am calling it

All good and well that Ash rescued Sakuya. But what about Natalia? She was kinda arrested 2 episodes ago, and Sakuya was going to see her in this episode. I hope she is well.

The cat is out of the bag of cat's bag, with the Raspberry business.

That's some realism, the world have flying robots and other incredible technologies. CCTV footage sucks hard still.

Where even was produced so many Knightmare frames to attack the world?

Would be cool if will have a all-star team up.

I cant think of any other show where the villain sends out killer blender robots on the entire world. Very cruel and unusual! But at least it gave us cameos spanning the entire Code Geass franchise. How conflicting...

wtf you can't just drop Suzaku, Nunnally and the characters from Akito's movies on me out of no where.

If all these characters are actually going to be involved in the remaining episode then this should be getting pretty good.

I still want to know how everyone ended up in their separate situations though.

@Leongolleyn lmao funny you say that since Lelouch of the Resurrection already had time travel in it as the villain's Geass power (Steins;Gate style memory transfer time travel).

... What? So, the island nation Neo-Britannia, completely isolated from the rest of the world, somehow managed to find the resources and manpower to build a swarm of killer blenders large enough to threaten literally everywhere on Earth? And somehow nobody noticed them coming before they were butchering people by the thousands, and even then there's no good footage of them? I could give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that the 'beneficial terms' to Neo-Britannia mentioned had something to do with it, but by the looks of things negotiations weren't even finished when the blenders attacked. Even by Code Geass standards, this is stupid.

The first time he missed, the second time, he saved her, keeping his promise to her father.

When he reacted to Sakuya pretending to be his younger brother, Ash felt rage.
But when Sakuya mousily owned up to also fooling him as Raspberry, he only felt embarrassment (better that lie ended sooner than later).
Well, I presume the Britannian Republic is the HBE's legal successor so if there's a concern for "Anti-Britannian Discrimination" in former HBE territories (we all know why lmao) rectifying it doesn't need Neo Britannia to exist.
Both Narah and the UFN have been had, now is an apt time for Narah to betray Norland
I don't think using Kaguya's familial connection to Neo-Britannia's puppet empress will change much now.
Where is a pariah state like Neo Britannia getting all these resources from? Is this just left-over Britannian tech?
How can they afford to launch simultaneous coastal attacks within and outside Japan with "Murder Roombas" (as the Japanese viewers have nicknamed them)
Leila, Akito, Ayano, Ryo and Yukiya!

For a moment, it was heartwarming knowing the Wyvern Squad got to go sightseeing in their ancestral homeland.

IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO THEM...

With Nunally in Zhilkistan, Suzaku is wearing the OG Zero outfit (as opposed to what Lelouch wore in Re;surrection).

Did not expect such a meme strat and of course there's 10 trillion of them and the Burakku Nights and every other country on the planet has nothing to quickly respond to an emergency. adding Akito and Suzaku was a nice touch but c'mon, they should be clouds of mist, realistically so naturally they'll be in the final battle.

never bothered to explain how a niche military offshoot can withstand the entire world's armaments AND got the last remaining nukes that Suzaku & Nunnally had the key for so of course the Matrix Second Renaissance happening isn't that far gone.

Unfortunately, as many suspected, Sunrise just have taken a big and recognised brand and made very bad show where nothing makes sense only to make tons of money

Can't believe Ash didn't recognize Raspberry...although in his defense... I guess it was "dark" in that facility and his emotions were probably at PEAK chaos from the un-geassing revelations.... it was cute of them to include that scene later in the trailer when she admitted she was Raspberry... Ash turned so red there LMAO.

And whoa.....There were so many cameos crammed in at the end (including the Akito-gang) I freakin lost track.

Can I just call it now, Something is gonna happen to Suzaku/Nunally and Lelou is gonna jump in for funsies. If not well....I guess I'd be satisfied to see just Suzaku & his aerobics again (Suzaku vs Ash Knightmare dance-off. DO IIIIIIT!)

That whole sequence with Ash was weird. But Scissorman was a fun character. I liked his death.
It suddenly going global scale was kind of wild. I have not the faintest clue where its going from here, which is pretty nice since everything before has been so trite.
It showed a whole bunch of old characters, including even Akito and I think some characters from spin off manga. I wonder if these are just cameos or if they'll actually impact the plot.

@hexashadow13 I wouldn't mind if they made everyone get involved for one final spectacle moment at the end. Because in all honesty, they're definitely going to be involved one way or another.

Killer robots that eat humans are a classic sci fi trope and perfect for Code Geass. I'm not sure how well it would work in a world with mecha soldiers, but the spectacle in this episode was vintage Code Geass.

Once again, the story has become unpredictable. Other than the heroes finding a way to save the day. I guess next week we will get a chance to see how this anime ends.

The reveals in this episode could have been inserted into the anime sooner. I thought Suzaku killed most of the Knights of Rounds with the Lancelot Albion alongside Bismarck and all those brittanian soldiers.

I wasn't a fan of the cgi in Akito, though it did look creepy and other wordly. It looks the mecha designers went back to the same bag for this show. The Jaws approach to horror you can't see very well works better for this type of story, and could have been animated better to boot. But instead, they wanted to show off their shoddy CGI Sunrise spent all that money on. At least this mistake isn't entirely a fault of the story.

Also, i love that we are getting a dramatic moment between Sakura and Catherine and we have a shot of his boobs colliding. Yeah, that was so necessary...

The cameos weren't bad, but I ain't buying that Norland and his crony managed to manufacture enough subs and robotic blenders to attack the entire world. From an island roughly the size of South Carolina... Yep, no; that just ain't happening. I don't think you could even get enough natural resources to build that many robots and submarines in that short of a time, let alone all the manpower such a mammoth task would require...

That episode was fucking amazing.

Right at the beginning they give us that sick scene with Ash knocking the helmet off Christoph, followed by Christoph blasting his brains away so that he wasn't geassed. Honestly, I'm going to miss that character. At least we still got Arnold who is kind of unhinged in his own way.

Then the show follows that up with Kaguya reappearing followed by fucking AKITO, SUZAKU, and the others. I'm not a fan of Akito (the series not a hater of the character) but that was so fucking hype when I saw that asshole's face. I didn't know he was going to appear in this. And then they follow that up with a Suzaku appearance? The entire time I was watching this I was trying to make sense of the timeline... Like, where's Suzaku and the others and here they start appearing. Also, you've gotta admit that scene with the mobile blenders was pretty fucked up.

Hope we can get some mech action with Ash, Akito, Suzaku, Cornelia, and others (Kallen maybe?) joining in to fight back. I need more of that fan service crack.

As if Char's clone wasn't enough, now we are getting spinning murder machines, like in Gundam F91. Neo-Brittannia is pretty much Crossbone Vanguard at this point. I wonder what other plot points are going to resemble it. And a lot of cameos, perhaps they will play a bigger role. However, if they do, then they better not overshadow current main characters.

That fucking retard really left her there but well he came back atleast. Sakuya getting pushed down under the weight of everything that has happened but she has somewhat bounced back. Ash found out who Raspberry was lol, poor guy.

Narah coming as a peace envoy and taking the upper hand and initiative against the black knights but it was all to stall things? Cause damn that ending was brutal, is he trying to wipe out earth of humans and make them into some higher nano being or something.

Btw that Sakura Catherine confrontation was good and the oppai confrontation as well. Also cameo from a lot of old characters.
