| Into the school we go. Ougi, taking advantage of her distraction, activates the fire alarm, causing a major commotion at the school. Sengoku then manages to seal her Nise version in a piece of paper. The dramatic escape of Ougi/Sengoku is made with both of them riding on Ougi's bike, speeding through the hallways. The connection between Ougi and Nadeko this episode was weirdly good; they really get along well. Also, it's getting pretty notable with each passing episode that Ononoki is becoming more profound in her discussions. She seems to joke around less, almost imitating Gaen. Sengoku and Ougi soon part ways. Sengoku discovers that her Bake version (Shy) is running around the city almost naked (wearing only bloomers, a type of swimsuit). She follows some clues and, instead of finding her clone, she finds Sodachi! Sodachi is skipping class because she feels out of place in the university environment. Having a better understanding of life, she decides to give Nadeko some sincere advice. Getting a Sodachi appearance was nice. Back to the main quest it is. |

| Finally an opening lol, from HanaKana and Hayami Saori no less. Though hey, if there’s one such feeling out there to find yourself… your true self, then with all practical sense we can conclude Sengoku is living that feeling lol. I mean she watching her own self, which isn’t the usual “meek” self we’re used to but the “playful” self, which she herself was kind of baffled to see, or more her ability to attract a crowd around her lol. These copies are running wild lol. I mean stealing clothes from your “other” self is as strange as it sounds. Still, I’m really glad to see Sengoku just didn’t restrict her interactions to Ougi and Yotsugi, I mean we got to see Kanbaru and Sodachi after all as well, and hey, important to note, the latter is in a whole new look. I loved Sodachi’s arc back then, so I’m glad they gave her the screen time here after skipping over her arc in Oroko. Though spare her Sengoku, by sharing whatever the hell is going on lol, I mean she’s not the best person to give advice.  Liked how chaotic this felt with Sengoku chasing Sengoku(s). Loving the arc so far. P.S. She’s still the same xD |

| More character we had not seen in a long time it was nice to see their changes. The school part was funny in a way but don't start pressing fire alarms since you will get in trouble. |
| Glad to see this season finally showcase one of the openings and it was a pretty good one with Nadeko and Yotsugi there. Wouldn't say it is among my very favorites from this franchise but still a good one that sounds nice and creatively displays elements from this arc well in a fun way. It was more buildup with the Nadeko Draw arc in this episode too, with seeing some nice cameos from Sodachi in particular and her conversation with Sengoku there (showing her character growth in a really good way) and even a brief scene with Suruga on the phone with her too. Nadeko's 'flirty' version was quite something else, basically swapping clothes with the meek version and having her parade naked around while she went to school and immediately became the talk of the class in a way. Ougi did manage to help Nadeko in the situation with bringing her back to the paper by causing havoc in school with the fire alarm and biking away with Nadeko out of there in a flash. Visually, the series continues to do its thing really well too. Overall, a good episode with a nice sidetrack focusing on Sodachi and Nadeko's conversation there briefly, and Sodachi's advice was actually pleasant to listen to given her growth and understanding herself and life in general better as a college student now, even if she still feels out of place even there. The other two episodes stood out more to me than this one, but this is good still in its own right with some pleasant nostalgia in the back end. The cliffhanger at Koyomi's house is interesting, although I doubt that he himself would be there in this whole ordeal. He is a college student himself now as well. |

| Nadeko continues to find her doppelgängers, and gets some sage advice from a familiar face... This was such a gorgeous episode in terms of the visuals. I'm so glad Studio Shaft has finally returned to form after so long, and this episode was a prime example of how great of a job they can do. Nadeko and Ougi's relationship feels very interesting so far, as they make a really nice tag team. It's certainly weird seeing Ougi being really helpful. This was overall another setup episode, but the highlight for me was seeing Sodachi again, and I loved her advice toward Nadeko, which drew from both her own experiences, and hearing about what Nadeko has gone through. She might not be the best role model for Nadeko, but it's clear that Sodachi has grown since leaving the town for college. It was also really nice to finally hear the opening. It was yet another great song from a Nadeko arc, and a chill and catchy tune overall. Great episode overall, and I can't wait for more. |

| Nadeko's search for a fulfilling identity continues. We got a nice OP in caramel ribbon cursetard. Nadeko found a kindred spirit in Sodachi, as someone who also had trouble fitting in. Very good episode once again. |

@Jeffhanekawa_564 It is hinted as the picture here but Sodachi and Nadeko have met through being at Koyomi's household. Sodachi stayed at the household briefly to protect her from her family in the past. Nadeko visited because of playing with Tsukihi, Karen and Koyomi. |

From the encounter scenarios to the shots of Flirty-Nadeko to the stills, to the escape, it was beautiful. I found of note how Nadeko points out at multiple moments that she's uncomfortable or afraid and it's not of her doubles. It's starts with her not wanting to go inside the school, then continues when she becomes scared that the people will see her during break. She also expresses how she's uncomfortable being near Ougi and she gets scared of Sodachi a few times. Each time I thought, that's where the old Nadeko would've either bailed or gotten aggressive. Our current version however can simply acknowledge that she's scared or uncomfortable and continue anyway. Ougi's little speech about Nadeko's envy was sweet. I love how they seem sincere and yet so indifferent most of the time. The cryptic archetype really works here. They're a fascinating character. Did anyone else think the way they handled the sexual nuances was unusually... tasteful? Normally, Monogatari likes to go to uncomfortable extremes to make its point stylistically, but thinking back to the shots of Flirty-Nadeko and Shy-Nadeko, it felt less over the top. | I wasn't expecting any OP song to drop, but I'm really glad that they did and the duet song between Nadeko and Yotsugi was very nice, both for the song and the animation itself. =) Ougi and Nadeko do make for an oddball team, but I enjoyed seeing the pair work together to capture the first of the runaway Nadeko creation. After that, one thing led to another and we had the surprising return of Sodachi, where she and Nadeko had a nice and enjoyable chat with each other. Another pleasant bonus was hearing Renai Circulation playing in the background during their talk. After that, Nadeko finds her at the Araragi residence. I have a good feeling that she'll end up talking to Tsuhiki, although I do hope Karen makes an appearance as well. |

| Wonder if these kids remember how Nadeko used to be. Flirty Nadeko seems to be the most sociable at the moment. Love that they have Renai Circulation playing in the background. And the manga panels look great. Wasn't expecting the Zenigata Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy gags. It was good to see Kanbaru. I guess has been a while since they've seen each other. Probably since the snake curse incident at the shrine. |

| We finally got the OP, love the combined vocals of the VAs for Ononoki and Nadeko even it’s mostly Nadeko lol, the visuals are very fun too, now that is Nadekotopia. And speaking of music, we really got the full force of the Nadeko OP inspired ost, that was without a doubt an instrumental version of Renai Circulation, it works really well as the ost during scenes in this arc so far. And the episode began the hunt for each version of Nadeko, starting with the one they’re dubbing the Flirty Nadeko, and I’ll say the encounter with her went surprisingly smoothly not counting Ougi setting off the fire alarm lol. I loved the visuals of Flirty Nadeko being the center of attention, the poor real Nadeko wanted to be the one to disappear instead because of it, but thankfully she was able to close in and turn the Flirty one back into paper and make a quick getaway thanks to Ougi, I wasn’t expecting Flirty Nadeko to be so devious there at the end tho, perhaps these Nadeko copies aren’t exactly like she was in the past. And next came time to hunt for the Meek Nadeko, aka the OG, and she’s apparently been running around with no shirt and just bloomers lol, nice fanservice there which I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of because she wasn’t actually found before the episode was over, but we did at least encounter Oikura, the real one this time lol, and she’s got quite the cute hairstyle for this season, definitely one of those times I’m a fan of the hairstyle change. I really liked her scene with Nadeko too, while Oikura may not be the best person to take advice from, I found her words to be quite inspiring, tho somehow she was the one leaving the conversation feeling motivated lol, very nice to see her again tho, hope it’s not the last this season. |
warghh My Sodachi-chan.. She's so pretty *_* sorry but she really caught my attention in this ep. anyway, another good story especially when Sodachi mention about how actually parent intended when they scold us. Looking forward to the next ep. |

| One of my favorite episodes of monogatari like fr. The opening with the remix of renai circulation was nice. Ougi with the clutch I never liked him as much as others but he/she is making me enjoy there character more and more. Also never knew Sodachi knew Nadeko love how she helped her out and she seems doing fine, Can't wait for her arc! Not sure if im using the term right but there dynamic is really cool I hope it gets better in the future. |

| Oh damn didn't expect Flirt Nadeko to be the first and to go so quickly. I did think they portrayed present day Nadeko's feeling's towards the popularity pretty well, and Ougi's description of how it was something like a fleeting moment in the spotlight to mask the anxiety that is still sure after. Nice quick Suruga appearance as well which was cool. Oh my God the Sodachi reappearance hello?? I'm actually so happy we get to see Sodachi again and looking better, i think her story is definitely up there with how tragic and haunting it was the first time i saw it and left lasting impressions on me. The last time we saw her was in Zoku Owarimonogatari and her appearance was pure bitter sweetness since it was the reversal of her actual self. Seeing a what-if happy and innocent Sodachi that only had a few more strokes of good luck compared to her original self, but was enough to literally turn her entire life around for the better, still sticks with me as some of the hardest punches i feel like Nisio Isin has thrown. The time before was in Owarimonogatari s1 where Hanekawa and Araragi visited Sodachi, and she was living in like a shitty one room apartment all by herself and had a freak mental break, lashing out from how bad shit was which was heart-breaking. It does warm my heart to see her in better and healthy state then the last time we saw her. Although she does voice a lot this episode how she's still struggling with parts of her life, feeling like she's in a repeated "cycle" of trying to make change but ending up where she began, like applying for college but loosing motivation to attend, at least she's become self aware of some of her faults and tried to improve them like her tendency to lash out quickly, or seems to become more caring hence all the talk and advice she gave Nadeko that seemed to be coming from her own experience. Honestly another reason i really like her character cus i personally feel that viscous cycle of trying to do change on yourself only to sink back where you began and feeling like you gained nothing and lost time. Also yippiee we not only got an opening, but the third Nadeko theme. I like this OP, the visuals are great, the beat to me is pretty catchy, sounds like a mix of Renai Circulation and maybe a bit of Mousou Express thrown in it with it's own thing, the surprise Ononoki collab as well was a welcome. |
