| Even though Gabimaru didn't won but he still dealt a good amount of attacks on the Tensen. Thought there's only one tensen but sike, there are seven, now the thing is how are going to defeat them all to get the elixir, maybe through the teamwork of everyone on the Island or just Gabimaru unlocking a new 'power' or something to defeat them. |

| I honestly don't see how this show ends conclusively in 4 episodes, but there's also no way there's enough content for another full season. Either way, this show went from being the most overrated anime of the season to the show I'm most excited to watch every week, even though I maintain it's poverty version of greater predecessors. I'm loving the mystical yet tense atmosphere. |

| Sometimes when an anime has a particularly intense action scene when the characters are fighting with all their strength, even if it's not a particularly sad or heavy moment, I'll start to tear up just because of how much I'm feeling what the character is feeling in that moment. When Gabimaru was fighting the Tensen and punching it rapid fire was one of those moments for me. This anime is actually so good |

| "Are you human?" Been wondering about that with Gabimaru ever since his first appearance and seeing him fight the Tensen alone really showed just how much this smol shinobi is capable of. Though with this fight, it does seem that the Tensen themselves may have limits seeing Zhu Jin in that elderly and weakened state after going into that flower monster form. We even get to know more about all seven Tensen. The main Tensen have picked up that these new humans aren't typical at all. And we even see the brothers getting out of that hole. I was afraid they were goners but I'm kind of glad they made it. Anyway, am loving all of this. |

| 3/5 It was a fine episode. Again, the animation and compositions remain average but we do get a lot of exposition, especially on those Tengens A very Gabi centric episode, the fight sequences were generally consistent but nothing extravagant. They lack punch and ferocity which is appalling for a battle shounen. We get introduced to all the Tengens and their respective beliefs and personas. Very hard names to remember and I'm a very faithful manga reader myself xD but anyways, that bit was the highlight of the episode for me. The VA's are doing terrific job portraying all 7 Tengens Gabimaru is saved by the little girl and runs into another group or duo. Decent, is all i can say ~~ |

| Damn bro, Gabimaru was fighting like a madman. Bro was throwing hands at a godlike immortal being and still coming out on top for the most part. Mei protected Gabimaru in the end. Hoko IS a human after all. It's just he's nearing the end of his life. Old age for these guys is becoming Groot I guess. There are 7 tensens. I'm pretty sure that there is a supreme leader above them or maybe their fusion of a single being is the main antagonist of this series. Also, we saw them drinking some drink which is most likely the Elixer. They were also talking about Tan or smth. Still confused if that is the elixer or the power system in this series. |

| Pretty good episode. Gabimaru was an absolute badass. We get to know more about the Tensen as well. |
| I knew she would go and help. But who is she anyway? She seems to have some sort of the same powers (from the attacks we have seen), but she has a scar so I guess she is not immortal? Didn't they say that 1 person was split into 7 personalities. Weren't they all adults? Anyway, this was a hell of a fight. He really would do anything to go back to his wife. Wish I would encounter someone that loves as strongly as he does lol And the next fight seems to be right around the corner. I wonder if they will group up as well or there will be some sort of fight. The brothers seemed to have escaped so they also will be a threat. Even though I really do not see how they could possibly win over all of them. Last but not least - I ain't sure how the Elexir works, but it would seem you need to keep drinking it to stay immortal like / recover forces. And it is made out of human energy or something like that. So in theory you wouldn't be able to take the elexir and go away because ... you would need a refill at some point? How many times a day or week or year u need to drink it? Wonder where the story will lead. Not many episodes left and I still have so many questions (and I am so scared to loose more fav chars :< ) |

| That was one amazing fight to watch but Gabimaru should not have been able to overpower it, when two seconds before hand was getting pummled and on the brink of death. Learing more about those god/monster people is always nice i want to see what the other ones can do. Gabimarus is in trouble now encountering more samurai well injured. |
