| I like how confident Itsuomi is and not hiding the fact that he is dating Yuki now. However, I think it's also fairly interesting the amount of focus of Emma is this episode. I think her character is worth paying attention to and seems like she's a more self confident version of Yuki in the show. |

| I thought the meeting with Shin would be a disaster, but you know what? It actually turned out pretty okay. Itsuomi, who introduced Yuki as his girlfriend to Shin, was baffled. While blessing the two, what still weighs on his mind is Emma. Knowing Emma's feelings towards Itsuomi, Shin says that he'll tell Emma for him. Shin says that it'll probably be too big a shock if she hears it from him. But then Shin starts to wonder about how to tell her without hurting her since ever since they were in high school, he knew Emma was in love with Itsuomi. But Shin starts to say things about how he's been waiting all this time for many years... for something. I'm so relieved that the introductions with the girlfriends went well. It looks like Shin might be gearing up to make a move on Emma, but who knows how that'll go down with her feelings being uncertain. I was really nervous about how Shin would react; I just had this gut feeling that he might have a thing for Emma. I'm really rooting for him though. Although, based on what we've seen in the past, it seems like Emma will always stick with Itsuomi. They're finally taking a step forward by telling people about their relationship, and now they're off on a "sign language training trip." |

| Daaamn, so Emma liked Itsu for years. She sure is stubborn. I can kinda admire that lol. I think his hair looks nice like that. Actually it's similar to how my hair is right now lol. I dyed all my hair in white, but now only the ends are dyed. 12:15 Kamaboko (蒲鉾:かまぼこ) - steamed seasoned fish paste, usu. in a semicylindrical shape on a strip of wood and sliced to go in soup, etc. Oh, we finally get Itsu's last name. Nagi. Yukari Hashimoto (on the CD Ema gave to Shin) is a real composer! She made music for this, Komi-san, and even Toradora. Really enjoyed this. I'm rooting for you, Shin! |

| Well this episode was pretty harsh the second part at least Shin not being able to start a romantic relationship is a bid sad. Ema seems pretty obsessed with itsuomi tho which makes me wonder how she will react to the relationship and towards Yuki. |
| Time is flies so fast !!! Man I want this to be continued forever 😭 Shin I truly feel sorry for him. unrequited feeling's these aren't easy to cope with.  |

| “You’re in love with itsu kun, right?” 😩 man hearing, or seeing Yuki vocalise it for the first time officially was cute. But I couldn’t help feel that moment was overshadowed by the sad situation with Shin. Sitting back and seeing the person you love have feelings for someone else for so many years must be heartbreaking. The flashback to high school was so rough. Don’t blame Shin at all for falling in love with Emma at first sight, she’s absolutely gorgeous. Plus she was really the first person to pay him any mind and try to connect with him. Seeing her just go on and on about a dude who doesn’t even want her just had to be so infuriating, but instead of getting upset and being nasty about it, he was just supportive and was there for her. It’s a total contrast to Oushi and Yuuki situation. Shin didn’t blame anyone for his predicament or lash out, he just made the best out of things. Kinda feel bad for the girls he dated as he sorted out his feelings though. But he got a chance to see how Itsuomi felt as well. Like just because someone is attractive and confesses to you doesn’t mean they’re the one for you. Those other girls were cute too, but they weren’t Emma. “This whole friendship business is so tiring huh, nothings been going my way lately. But how people feel about me is out of my hands. And changing myself to fit in doesn’t sit right with me” man this series continues to be TOO real lol. First the Costco date now Emma with these facts of life. Back to present day man my heart broke for Shin as he was about to confess only for Emma to bring up Itsuomi again 💔 when she finds out he’s with Yuki, man it’s gonna be a waterworks affair. Sign language boot camp sounds like a great idea. Can not wait for next week episode! |

| Thats quite the CD collection that Shin has. Yea i would see Itsu dating a foreign girl as well. Things between Itsu, Shin and Emma sound complicated. The insight into how Shin, Itsu and Emma met in high school though was pretty insightful. I feel for Shin though because despite his own feelings for her Emma's feelings towards Itsu is just too deep. Incoporating the next ep preview into the ending was pretty smart. |

| they killed it with the highschool flashback anime original segment, great job setting up my boy shin but to be shot down so quick damn. his silence and acceptance at the moment was so real. him and emma listening to music on the roof was a vibe, and along with itsuomi as well it was great seeinf the trio. yuki got put on the spot by shin at his house lol, all worked out well though and i like how everyone gets along, literally everyone. |

| This is definitely my favorite episode of the series so far! Tbh I was rooting for Oushi in the beginning, and I still am a little bit, but Yuki and Itsuomi are so cute in this episode. I also loved how this episode was more focused on side characters- I think Shin is super cool, he might be my favorite. :P Honestly I feel like we saw more of Shin's emotions and backstory than like any other character so far- but my memory is also really bad so maybe that's incorrect. I feel bad for Emma, Shin, and Oushi... hopefully they can each find someone that is right for them. I hope the series ends with everyone happy (◕‿◕✿) |

| Yey backstory!! And this was beautifully done: Shin and Itsu have such an amazing friendship, with Shin respecting the possibility that Itsu may go out with Emma and the fact that Emma is in love with Itsu. It was also great seeing Emma have an actual personality and be a genuine friend to Shin—being her own person even if she ends up alone for it, giving the CD to Shin, bonding with him over music, etc. Up until that point, all we saw of her was her lusting for Itsu and venting to Shin. But oof Shin's utter rejection of Emma, even for her benefit, def led to his predicament now, when Emma can only see him as a friend. I'm rooting for him tho ^^ |
| I really liked this episode! Yuki and Itsuomi are super cute together, I love them. The flashbacks to when Shin was in high school was super sweet, I feel super bad for Shin though. I really hope him and Emma end up together:( |
| Let's get surprised because this one guy with a weird hairstyle likes that one annoying girl. Really though, who would've guessed. Also, I would've liked if they might have tried giving any reason other than, "he's so good looking, so I love him", to justify that annoying girl's whole character of being head over heels for the main guy, but that's not what we do here, right? I mean we're yet to hear any other reason except "he's so hot/he's so handsome" out of Yuki when it comes to liking Itsuomi lol. |

| I got to see more of Itsuomi’s feelings towards Yuki through his talk with Shin. It helped me see more clearly how important she is to him when he brought her to his best friend and when he talked about her. I like him better now. Poor Shin. He held in his feelings all this time, just so Itsuomi can eventually fall in love with Emma (which will never happen.) :( Btw, hey both looked so good with black hair. 😩👌 Haha, Yuki is a stoat this episode. |

| I don't blame Shin for saying "don't ask her in front of me". It would be awkward if she said no. Broooo the way Itsu looks like Yuki melts my heart bc he has a twinkle in his eyes, that's so damn cute. Shin is so cute too ugh. I like wired headphones more. Yes, I still use them, in fact, I'm using them rn lol It sounded like Shin was listening to Math Rock. Its sad that Shin has felt so inferior compared to Itsu. He should've just shot his shot anyways! Itsu doesn't even seem like the type of person who would be upset. Stop being silly and just freaking tell her Shin!!!! Ohhh so Rin was Yuki's notetaker! |

| Not a whole lot of Itsuomi and Yuki goodness in this one, which is something I had a feeling might happen after they officially became a thing, tho I did really like that we got some backstory on Shin, Emma and Itsuomi. After seeing all that things make a lot more sense between the three of them in the present day, poor Shin man, but perhaps his chance will potentially come soon if he can actually manage to spill the tea about Yuki and Itsuomi to Emma, him not telling her after all that backstory kinda hurt lol. And I’ll say Emma did grow on me after seeing her school days with Shin and Itsuomi, she was a bit of a nuisance before but I can appreciate her more now, I also really liked how she first bonded with Shin over music, that first song they enjoyed together sounded like a jam, and in the future we saw that Shin amassed quite the collection, I hope my own CD collection will be like that someday, and unfortunately I doubt Shin has any Grateful Dead in there lol. And what we did get of Itsuomi and Yuki was very nice, I’m sure Shin could really see how close the two of them are from that one interaction. And near the end of the episode as the college was sweet as well, I definitely look forward to the sign language boot camp. |

| And so the triangle becomes a square, and now it's so painful to watch. Poor Shin-chan, I feel so bad for him. He's such a great guy, too good to be friend zoned. But it's been so long and everyone knows he loves Emma, but her. That girl has rocks in her head, and a stone of a heart to ignore Shin chan for so long while taking all the friendship and affection he offers without giving him anything in return. He's a great guy, and he does hair too. Baka Emma! Argh! |

| Alright, time to went deep into Itsuomi high school time with Emma and Shin. Ofc they gonna use the very generic place to start all the story, rooftop. Nao really nail it with her usual energetic voice over Emma, and when something not gonna end well, sulking, or that 'jerk' saying toward Shin. Man i really need to kneel down to Nao voice acting there 🧎 Long short story, that's it. Just because the damn Itsu making a vague hanging statement like that, Shin truly be haunted by that. Lmao poor dude, even used other girl as a bumper, and for sure its not gonna end well until present. Then when there's a chance dude, to make the first step, he's unable? Idk anymore about it, Shinchan, smh my head. Enough with Shin and his dilemma tho. Let's get back to our main couple lovey-dovey episode. |

| really loved this episode, especially the backstory of shin and emma. was a little sad they didn't resolve their issues in a single ep but hopefully everyone gets a happy ending (based on the OP) |
