| Oh, this episode has JP subs, finally (where I'm downloading the episodes from). Ngl it was a bit hard for me to watch this with no subs at all until now. 真宝 (matakara) means "true treasure" btw I really want to learn more about Arajin and Matakara's backstory 13:24 ゴーヤチャンプルー (gooya chanpuruu) - bitter melon stir-fried with pork, tofu and other vegetables (Ryuukyuu dialect) I bet Kenichiro doesn't speak because has a really high voice lol 21:11 一夜 (ichiya) means "one night" (And sen'ya is thousand nights) The two guys from Sigma are at the end of the ED this time. I really liked all the over-the-top comedic animation this episode. |

| I had a feeling Shindo was the one who had a genie solely based off of the opening, nice to see its appearance. I'm so curious about Arajin and Matakara's backstory, but argh I wish Arajin would just tell Matakara his true feelings instead of continuously avoiding him without explaining why he's so cold towards him. So frustrating to watch. Matakara is way too nice. I'm also curious to see if Matakara will get his own genie (or perhaps he already has one? or will be able to borrow the power of other people's genies?) based off of the opening. |

It's kind of shocking how they wrote him this way; he does nothing right. I guess his overreactions are pretty colorful. He didn't even punch Shindo for the right reasons, either. He just got irritated because Shindo talked down to him a little. I don't think he even knows who Shindo is. I'll stick around for the colorful art, the action and the other characters, like Matakara and Marito. If Arajin gets better, great! If not, I can just ignore him. |

| I'm still waiting for the day Arajin explains his falling out with Matakara, but this was a fun episode. It turns out that Shindo has a spirit named Ichiya. That's probably why he was able to form his own gang after getting banished from Minato Kai. |

| Damn Mahoro was the key to preventing the war the whole time lol. Imagine if she starts falling for Matakara now.. lol. At the least she ls able to empathise with him over their shared admiration for their older brothers. I’m ngl I’m starting to get really annoyed with Arajin being such an asshole to Matakara. He needs to just have a real conversation with him instead of ignoring him and putting him down constantly. It’s so unnecessary So shindo is the blue djinn wielder. OP kinda gives it away and last ep we saw him talking to the air so it was kind of obvious. But again, Arajin didn’t even punch him for the right reasons.. he just got upset because shindo talked down on him.. |

| The war between Minato Kai and Siguma, Marito has no choice but to declare war on them for hurting their comrade. But Matakara has other thoughts, like honouring his brother Mitsukuni, who paved the way before him. The NG Boys's Emperor Shindo Akutaro approaches Zabu, which is how he lost his armband to his patheticness. And even Arajin is caught in this mix, which he's becoming less of a Honki Person than what Matakara once surmised about him from their young days. He's without hope from his older brother, who's locked up in juvie prison. Matakara, with no choice, approaches Mahoro for help, but not even she can help him. And like kids with siblings, he wants to resolve this problem ASAP...and there's no choice but to forcefully romantically impress him to stop Marito. But the bloodthirsty Marito, and even Minato Kai's Damon, as the time closes on them, they could not stop the gangs from doing so. Going straight to Shindo is the only way to stop him, and Arajin becomes a Honki Person to beat him up...though he's not the only one with an alternate genie, Ichiya. This Shindo guy is real trouble. |

| This episode really did cement that this show is just infinitely more interesting and watchable when Arajin isn't in it. I was actually really enjoying the first half of this episode, but as soon as Arajin appeared it all fell apart as he instantly started being annoying as fuck and bringing everything down in the process. |

| I love this episode a lot more than episode 3 and that was mainly because it focused on Matakara and the others. Right now i'm interested to see what happened to his brother specifically that made him be put on Juvie.Also that weird shadow that we see with him made another appearance. Curious, I guess we can't deduct it's the blue genie since it's with Shindo but maybe it's some latent power or curse? hmmm Also Matakara and Mahoro having a momentary understanding due to having big bros they admire was something I did not think would happen but it was a pleasant surprise. As for Arajin....yeah he becomes more and more annoying each episode and i'm just gonna set him aside until he actually gives us more info on what the hell is his issue with Matakara that causes him to be an asshole. |

| Now innocent and unbelievably-trusting Matakara will arrive only to see his friend confronting Shindo and start thinking "ofc, Ara-chan already figured out Shindo was behind everything...and he came to solve the problem all by himself...he didn't want to put me in danger that's why he pushed me out of his room that day....oh Ara-chan, you really have the spirit of a real honki in you" |

| I swear the MC is giving me second-hand embarrassment from how pathetic he is, but I still wanna see this show till the end. At least the animation and the ost make up for it. I've always thought that Matakara would be the blue guy with the long ponytail from the OP (Ichiya) as the opponent for Senya. |
| I really like the arab vibe in this anime. Ichiya has (ليلة) in his chest, which means (Night), and Senya has (ألف), which means (Thousand). So, together, (Thousand Night), (ألف ليلة). |

| I don't mind Arajin being a wimp. It gives him room to grow. What I hate, is the way he treats his childhood friend. Matakara reaches out to Arajin over and over again. To be friends again, to join his gang, for help. And he keeps rejecting him. Matakara is such a stand up guy. He's done nothing to deserve this sort of treatment. And I hate the way Arajin simps over Mahoro. She has zero interest in him, and it's painfully obvious she is just using him. |
