| Ofc it wasn't over just like that and they had to fight a greater demon arm which they struggled quite a bit as they were already exhausted from their fights so far. Both the priest girl and sword maiden were amazing this episode. The sword maiden was terrified yet still went to save them, love her. Hope she someday joins goblin slayer. Was a decent season with some good episodes but I remember s1 being much better and more engaging. While this season also had some engaging parts it also had less interesting and more SoL type stuff which I didn't mind as I liked watching more of them, specially since we got more of the guild girl, childhood friend and sword maiden. We even got to see the elven village. Goblin slayer might not have flashy action with magic spells and stuff like most action animes these days. Instead the characters are actually restrained with stuff like usage of spells, hp/mp/potion/buff/debuff/cleanse etc. They rely on various tactics in battle with what they have in hand instead of brute force and even though they fight goblins most of the times since there's several different variations of them it remains interesting. It feels more like a jrpg and I like it for it. Hoping for more season in the future. |

Felt like Priestess regressed in this last arc
Just constantly calling out for Goblin Slayer.
I wanted him to be like "Gimme a break, I'm busy"
I get it's just an anime thing to constantly call out each other's name, but it really annoyed me this time around.

| @ComboSmooth I think that’s why at the end priestess saw the archbishop and let go of him. She was ready to die with him and she always relied on him but after seeing AB save goblin slayer, priestess wanted to get stronger. You can tell in this episode how much she wants to be useful to everyone. |

Hmm while this Goblin Slayer season isn't bad overall, it's not as good as season 1 either. I remember how intense season 1 was and it was so much enjoyable to watch. |

| We got some character development for Priestess (though sometimes it seems like she's just a circle), and even Goblin Slayer seems to be beginning to question just what goblin slaying means to him. Side characters also got development. This season was a step down from the first in my opinion, but I also don't remember anything that happened in the first season or in the movie. Things seemed to really fly by, though it makes sense when you consider that this is really just a story of an ordinary party (barring the obsession with goblins) doing what adventurers do, and not of someone who needs to fight the Demon Lord or something. Though we did get to see Goblin Slayer and co. come into contact with the king and just narrowly missed the who I'm assuming is the hero, so maybe there's more to come. I'd like a season 3, though I don't know how long it'd take to get one, if we even get it. |

| Finally it´s over xD They talk way too much LoL and most of the talking is repetitive and not intriguing. I felt like skipping few seconds at those times. It was as if their were recycling/remaking the episodes over and over xD There were a few exciting scenes, but most of them were oscillating from okay-ish to boring and vice-versa. The brother of one of the adventures, that one from the first episodes who looks like a tomboy, he was too annoying... and that really did spoil my overall enjoyment in the 1/3 of the anime. I was afraid he would end up joining the party xD At least I was able to see the Sword Maiden at least a bit S2 In general a 'meh'/fine season, I would rate 5 or 5.5/10, but the Sword Maiden last scene boosted it up to 6/10. Saved the day, also literaly in the anime xD |

| Damn, I cannot believe that this is the last episode of the season. Anyhow, it was cool to see Sword Maiden’s powers in action. They were really in a pickle there. Farm girl is always there to welcome the goblin slayer. Well, that’s a wrap. I hope the next season is more action packed |

| This show is becoming a chore to get through with how by the number the plot is. It's becoming boring but there are some nice things here or there but the focus on goblins isn't....doing it any favors. When the main character talks about a neverending cycle, he should ask himself "Am I really making a difference?" We need to get out of the cycle of "Character does something stupid, gets captured by goblins, Goblin slayer's party saves the day, and then repeat." Not a bad show but its source material, similar to Shield Hero, is starting to work against it. 6 out of 10 Nice to see development for Priestess and the side characters. It's also nice to see Sword Maiden actually do something. |

| Ok the last scene was actually good and it show some kind of progress with GS's character. Though, this season wasnt like the last one I might say, it is good but it lacked the intensity, dark and thrill of S1, and the fact the studio has changed made it look worse, I didnt like the art this season I would usually give this an 8 but this time a 7/10. Would I watch a sequel? yea, hoping it becomes better than this one |

Learning more about High Elf was pretty interesting as well, and while GS doesn't talk that much, I feel like he has a lot on his mind, would be interesting to dwell deeper into that |

| didnt really liked the ride, quite a letdown compared to the 1st. i really hate fade to black transitions as it feels like theyre cutting corners, and surprisingly it was overused during the final eps. doesnt it feel like theyre skipping things right? |

one question, which season is more brutal/Bloody/Violent/Gore this season or season 1 ?
| @GoblinLordKing First season and Crown movie are violent, season 2 is tame and average. It's almost as if their American translators told them to tone down the tits and gore so the audience watching the show won't get offended or die of a heart-attack seeing too many ankles flying. So they did. |

| @GoblinLordKing sure theyve toned down the violence compared to the 1st. IIRC the manga was also far less iffy after they introduced the additional chars. it was like the 1st season was the whole sales pitch of "dis here be violence". we still get some headshots here and there but no more game like kill cam scenes havent watched the movie tho |

Are Lizardmen weak to cold temperatures?
Sword Maiden appearing like that was epic!
The part with the noble and the knight felt like a teaser for the next arc at first, but I suppose it's just one of those little peeks at what's going on in the world, like with the Hero defeating the demon lord in season 1. This getting a 3rd season would be both surprising and unsurprising, with all these sequels being announced right after an anime finishes lately.
I feel bad for GS here, but yeah, this is the path he chose, and he's not going to waver. Him looking back on everything is so wholesome.

I think I enjoy Goblin Slayer more than most people. It just feels very atmospheric to me. Love both action and slice of life parts. I like the artstyle of season 1 way more though. Also the OP by Mili is really good. I hope she gets to make OPs for more anime in the future.
Btw I heard that 2 volumes got completely skipped from the anime (between season 1 and the movie). Were they important? Would be cool if they got adapted too someday.

| I didn't like the new animation as much, and not enough goblin slaying....however it had real good character development. Overall I still really like this series. Also Sword maiden just jumped to the top of the best girl list. I give this a 7/10 and hope we get a season 3. |

| this season was hard to watch, the MC is just too boring, always with the "Souka" every single scene. the dark tone of the series in s1 was the only thing keeping this alive for me, but we don't have that anymore so I guess i'll stop watching future seasons from now on. |
| So the Anime sure changed a strong bit from the S1 i remember. Someone told me its character building, but it does seem like the girl is weaker and more of a hinderers this Season. I really want this anime to grow and get better, but they need to move on from training the priestess over and over. She can overcome the challenge and be a stronger part to the party. Well those are my opinions. Hope we can get a stronger S3. |

| So that's it. Did it really need a second season? It's now run off the mill fantasy, the dark parts are completely gone. That leaves us with the Goblin slaying and that was toned down as well. In season 1 you get shown tactics to taking down goblin nests, traps, warnings etc. In season 2 it's in fact the Goblins using one simple warning trap. Man that was rather disappointing. And like with season 1 I have to say that not giving the characters actual names is simply a bad idea. Yes the Goblin Slayer can have it as his name, or rather nickname for which he is known for. You can even make it a gimmick that "cow girl" (ffs) says his name when no one else is around and it then gets muted for the viewer. But for crying out loud everyone else should have a normal name that isn't their job title. |

| Sword Maiden MVP this time, she really overcame her fear and rescued their favorite adventurer. Kind of a shame that we didn't see anything more from her afterwards. This season certainly got hold back by its battle animation. The fights looked not very dynamic and for a show which relies on cool action scenes that's bad news. I still like the world and its characters though, but season 1 was far superior. 8/10 |
