| @Mechabandit Kana is very perceptive of Ruby's feelings, as well as her own. Kana wants to push Ruby to do her best while the latter plays Ai. But, the only way Ruby can authentically immitate Ai is for Kana to unveil her jealousy: Kana can only shine if Ruby is not there. 😢 There is a lot of truth in Kana's words: her jealousy is inevitable. This jealousy must be, more or less, the same as the jealousy that Ai's idolmates felt: they hate her cause she's always at the centre; she's the face of the group; all the other B-Komachi members are extras. I am glad that this confrontation happened between Ruby and Kana. I just hope that they'll still be friends by the end of the manga series in one way or another. Also, this chapter cements my adoration for Kana Arima: she's a "no-holds-bar" kind of girl. She may have a sharp tongue, and she may hurt Ruby's feelings in this confrontation; but, it's all for Ruby's best so Ruby can perform very well in her acting. Provoking Ruby is one way so Ruby can identify Ai's loneliness, desperation, and isolation. |

| Kana is taking quite the gamble by throwing her friendship with Ruby away like this. Even if her intentions are good I can't help but have a bad feeling about how Ruby will process this. Hope things turn out good though, and hopefully they can salvage their relationship later. |

| Kana is once again taking on the role of leading the retreat and illuminating others, reminiscent of her attempt with Akane in the Tokyo Blade arc. However, is there not a better way to handle the situation? Why does it consistently fall on her to make the self-sacrificial decisions. |

| Kana is imitating Nino. Back then, Nino scolded at Ai, "Disappear already!!!" out of jealousy and frustration. This time, Kana is saying "I can never shine when Ruby is around. Disappear already!!!" Woahh!!! What a heavy chapter this is. Kana is telling the truth while provoking Ruby. |

Knowing it’ll cost her friendship with Ruby, or at least complicate things, but she wants her friend to be able to give her best to the role. Dunno if this’ll work out as intended, but at the least it’s a very cathartic moment for Kana. Awesome chapter and made me like her even more |

| Maybe the most harsh course of action, but ironically it's also the most effective for someone like Ruby. Also the author better have the mother of all rewards ready for Kana because boy, not only she lost almost everything, but she keeps getting hit for sake of the plot |

| (Thoughts when I first read the chapter which was a few hours ago and I've since read the following chapters) I can't believe this is happening, I love both Ruby and Kana and to see Kana destroying their relationship so that Ruby can improve is just heartbreaking ;-; It was necessary for Ruby to understand Ai's feelings but still... I hope their friendship isn't going to end but will be resolved somehow in the future I feel like Kana did this also partly because of her complex. She always feels she has to sacrifice something. She doesn't prioritise herself in a lot of situations, even though she must love Ruby as a friend. |
