| A pig as a main character! Thought the voice sounded familiar as they're in many seasonal anime these years. Jess is also introduced and she's very ladylike for her character. She and the pig has some...peculiar chemistry I guess. This episode also feels experimental, to test and see how a human and pig can interact. The setting has a natural fantasy feel, nothing too advanced but works. Cute episode imo. |

| Isekai has peaked… though downwards like ever. And by the way, as meme-esque this story sounds, it ain’t any hilarious on the surface. I mean our local resident… a (former)japanese OTAKU protag has literally become a pig this time around… what? WHAT???????? Jokes should have been interpreted as jokes, but guess the author's the kind of person who takes them to heart. Who even fantasises about becoming a girl’s pig in the first place lol. Anyways, the dude woke up in the body of a pig, and had a cute plumpy blonde right in front of him, for reasons unknown. By the way, she could read minds too, so it goes without saying she was aware of them planet-full cringe monologue too, mister pig was speaking within his head. Isekai protags aren’t just insufferable when they're in the image of gloomy dark-haired teens, but even as pigs the story is quite similar, or kind of even a level above than usual. Also, what’s with this girl, talking about her prince charming with a pig???? Is there really such a scarcity of humans in their world???????? She’s even willing to help this pig become a human again smh. Just what’s wrong with this world? Though the setting of an otaku becoming a pig for some reason doesn’t seem much wrong to me. Anyways, this literally falls under the category of, “WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH”. |

| You though vending machine was the worst Iseaki could get? Pfft, nah we got a pig now. After passing out while indulging in raw pig liver, an unassuming otaku finds himself in the body of a pig. To his surprise, he's now in the company of Jess, an innocent girl gifted with the ability to read minds. Despite his less-than-polished thoughts, Jess accepts him, although she does harbor intentions of consuming him. As Jess faces the looming threat of a grim fate, can Pig rely on his sharp intellect, wisdom, and keen sense of smell to rescue her. It's a tad unusual that the hook in the title seems like a passing remark at the start. I assume it won't hold much significance beyond setting up the premise. Nevertheless, the narrative thus far is intriguing. It's rare to be thrown into a setting with such distinct worldviews that what we consider commonplace is seen through an entirely different lens. This took me by surprise. I'm relieved that he's not OP. Indeed, he's nothing more than an ordinary pig. ASCA's OP also seems to have a heartwarming and sweet tone to it. What seems to be a strange Iseaki, seems to also be a just a fun wholsome show that I'm intrigued on. |

| AH YES, author Takuma Sakai's Pig Liver Isekai is finally here. If Vending Machine Isekai works, why not this? Out of all the reincarnations, someone has been reincarnated into a pig...and barring like an Otaku weeb who died due to having eaten pig liver to see a blonde girl saving him from the slaughterhouse and hoping to get a peek under her skirt, he's indeed a pig that she's in charge of. Jess the Yethma, who can read minds, shows the pig of the fantasy world he's in, with Jess being a maid and wearing the silver collar to indicate as such. Indeed, Jess tailored herself to his thoughts, but the pig itself having his lewd desires be fulfilled, not everything needs to be fulfilled. The dream life of a pig, to truly be treated like a pig, the pig in its state can't do any form of thanks, but he'll try. Strolling outside, both Jess and the pig continue their observations, like magic in the form of Ristae crystals of magical batteries, other than the fact that teh pig desires for his wild pleasures to be fulfilled by Jess. She has so much in life going for her like meeting her Prince Charming, but for the pig to turn back into a human, it's a tall order. And since Jess is going to the royal capital, the pig might as well go with her, while catching a glimpse of her panties. It's hilarious hearing Kirito's VA Yoshitsugu Matsuoka be the pig, but this is like Project No. 9's Winter show of Otonari no Tenshi-sama, in a way that only Isekai can do. Still mixed, so let's see how to progress from there. |

| Yoshitsugu Matsuoka on his quest to appear in every anime. "Heat the pig liver" (Imperative) is the literal translation of the title btw lol. When I first saw Jess I was immediately reminded of Fauna (Hololive). The artist for the LN is her character designer too. This one is kinda sus but I'm going to enjoy it and no one can stop meeee! Btw in the synopsis it's mentioned that Jess wants to eat him, but I didn't see anything like that this episode? |

| So we’ve been reincarnated as a sword, vending machine and now a pig 😂 I think the scoring for this is too harsh. I liked this first episode a lot! Way too early to judge the worldbuilding and story yet. Yea, our MC, obligatory Matsuoka Yoshitsugu voiced protagonist, is a bit weird, but it’s isekai. When are the MCs ever not loser otaku who get reincarnated and a second chance at life. Need to see how he and Jess’ journey progresses before I make any judgment on that front. From what we saw today though, it seems good. Jess is so damn cute and innocent. Another waifu of the season contender. I like that she can communicate with Buta via telepathy. That was one issue I had with Hanbaiki/vending machine. A lot of things with Lammis and Boxo would’ve gone way smoother if they could have communicated properly. Dude is a pure degenerate though. Soon as he gets reincarnated his first question isn’t about his parents or family, but about getting stroked by a cute blonde girl 💀 I guess fate put him in the perfect body for his personality as of now lol. I will give him some props though, wanting to be spanked by Jess makes him just like me 😂 Cute premiere, let’s see where things go |

| I like pigs. Therefore, I like this anime. I read a few chapters of the manga before this aired and it does have a charm to it. I will say the anime seems like it'll be the weakest version of the story, but damn, pigs voice actor is putting in the work haha. He's very funny. Would've been nice to see his human self in the anime. I do like that he feels like a early 2000's otaku character and not a modern isekai guy who just sits in his room doing nothing. |

But the way matsuoka bring voice rendition make it's not too boring, actually I expected to be boring but it's not atleast for episode 1. | They don't make them like this anymore. Unapologetic otaku-rooted media, just like the good ol' days. Even got a rare panty shot. Overall it was fun and Matsuoka is going crazy on the VA as usual. |

| It's a cute set-up but the next episode is going to be critical in determining if this will make-it or break-it. At least I can picture it going into several directions: The two most extreme would be: Either a totally expected and boring "Oh look it's a pig that's totally Babe-level cute there's nothing wrong with that" OR "Can I eat that pig? What else could it be for?" Or [hopefully] something else in between the two....guess have to wait and see. The pig's VA is at least not boring...although I'm personally bugged by the fact her and possibly other Yethma can totally hear everything he monologues but selectively has no reaction to random bits and pieces. |

| Honestly, this was more entertaining than I was expecting. It's like Kazuma from Konosuba, but he reincarnated into a pig and has the mental voice of Kirito. Though the question is, will it get old fast? |

And yeah, it is freaking hilarious hearing Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, the uncrowned king of harem voicing as a pig and Tomori Kusunoki as the cute girl Jess. Two MCs of Sword Art Online franchise (Original SAO & GGO Alternative) are together in this one show. HAHHAHAHAHA XD |
