| Heh, Cecila's jealous reaction was priceless. With this being the finale episode, it came to no surprise that they wanted to give Lawrence and Cecila one last time to interact. It also put more emphasis on closer they've gotten and what they feel about each other. A sweet episode imo with the festival mood and setting. It was a beautiful sight that seems to be prepared for this particular episode. 7/10. Enjoyable. |

| Welp, Eric's tutoring...also involving the lady saint, Ceciia's hopeless, but hopeful that Rebecca still has use for her being a fashion statement. Though Eric is quite perceptive about what Cecilia is to Lawrence, and it's like a family...is it? The issue is, both Cecilia and Lawrence aren't family, and once again, Rebecca made Cecilia indeed the walking fashion fiesta, though Mell is there to help console him about what it means to be family, while the Lady Saint is just staring at both Lawrence and Mell thinking that they're friendly to each other. That said, the town's Winter Market festival is the first time that Cecilia will be participating in it, though Lawrence raises the exact same question to her...and thinks that they're both family, to the chagrin of Hazelita, though this is normal for Abel. The clique sharing together and soaking in the festivities, and soon it's both Lawrence and Cecilia left together again with Abel and Hazelita intentionally leaving them alone, as well as the other townsfolk, which Eric almost blurted out the impossible, wanting their romance to naturally come out in the process. As Abel hearkens over his love of the late Federica, Lawrence raises the same prior question again, though this time, he's not dense to his feelings to actually think of Cecilia as his own family. Though at home, things are just the same old normal with Abel and Hazelita. Lily is back to bless Lawrence, though she is content that the usual flowers that are meant for him, now are meant for her. The sneaky lil' daughter knows that Cecilia's made for him. Overall, a simple, fluffy, small lil' fun Christian anime show that's just wholesome. |

| What a relaxing ride it was. You see, it did not do anything differently than many others in the same genre, but yet, despite that it kept its charm, with very colorful cast of characters, where of course our saint girl taking the spotlight, being the star ... + her chibi faces were priceless too. Also, i would like to mention something about the VA, Cecilia's character could easily be voiced by many much more popular VAs in the industry, im sure we can name a few just out of the bat (Nao Touyama, Minase Inori ...), but i'm glad they gave it to a total rookie, she did a great job with her first role. Wishing her well in the future. |

| Last Cecilia appreciation post of the season It’s really over 😭 today has so many good shows we’re saying goodbye to. Fitting that the finale deals with what it means to be a family. Cecilia and Lawrence have slowly but surely grown to be a family over the course of this show. Their shared history of hardship, mutual experiences and undeniable bond are more than enough to tie them together. While we may not have got a confession, we definitely changed the way Lawrence views Cecilia which is a big start. The Christmas festival was a really nice opportunity for them to get even closer and the scene of them on the lake was perfect. Nowhere to run or hide. Cecilia throwing herself at Lawrence definitely got the message across that she isn’t going anywhere. “I always be with you” 😭 such a cute moment. Every time I see Hazelita’s brother visit Frederica’s grave I get sad because I just wish they could’ve got their happy ending.. Mel stopping Erik from running his mouth about how Cecilia and Lawrence feel about each other was nice. Even though it’s a slow grind at times with them, you really do just have to let them get to that point on their own. The payoff when Lawrence finally admits he loves Cecilia will be awesome. 🙏🏾 Even little Lilly knows how Cecilia feels lmao. “I’ll let you have the pastor” what a sweetheart. What a finale and what a show. Thank you Doga Kobo. |

 Yes, you aren't family right now. They are making progress very slowly and everyone in the town is watching this happen. When they finally get together it will be the biggest festival in the history of their town lol. The scene after credits was really cute. This was wholesome. And for some reason I like how the Lawrence is so dense lol. The visuals were very high-quality as well. Sasuga Doga Kobo. The OP and ED were really nice too. 8/10 Did you know that they are also making the Roshidere anime? I was so happy when I heard that (even though I haven't read the LN). But that also means it'll probably be only one season long and that's it. As a native speaker, I'm really looking forward to Sumire Uesaka's Russian. |

| Eric's mom really is shrewd. Hazelita's bloodlust at the family thing was damm amusing. The winter market though was nice. Really showed how much effort the town put in for it. The tower that lights up at night was a nice touch. While its a shame that there wasn't a major change to their bond as the others had wanted given that they're gonna be working together for a long time yet there's still plenty of time for that to change. Overall though a pretty chill ep to end the series with that focused on the crux of their relationship and the hopes and wishes of those around them. Have to say that i was really impressed by the debut of Cecilia's seiyuu Hime Sawada whose portrayal of the saint was simply amazing. This would be a solid first time exp for her. |

| An overall very endearing and cute show, especially Cesilia's bubbly personality interacting with Lawrence incredible dense brain was never really bothering me, it was always charming and lighthearted. Same goes for the entire cast around those two, always observing them and trying to give sublte hints and being teaseful without interfering to much with their relationship. I know that in other shows I couldn't stand the exact same things, but here it somehow worked really well. |
| Family, huh? Even Lily-chan and the shopkeeper’s son can see it, that’s so adorable ~ We got plenty of “family confirmation” moments this episode. God, why didn’t these come earlier xD? We could’ve gotten somewhere if that had been the case. Anyways, it’s been a nice and chill little watch. Wouldn’t mind if there’s more to come but it doesn’t feel like that kind of series, and I suppose I’m cool with it as well. Pretty content, 7/10. |

| Family eh, well they made some sort of progress so that's nice. Cute episode to end the season. The hugs were sweet. Pretty sweet anime, a bit boring at times but mostly it was wholesome and cute. Specially Cecilia, she's adorable. Had a fun time watching it. Maybe we'll get s2 someday. |

| What a lovely Father/Daughter like relationship we just saw lol, dude acted like a worried parent for the whole show, man this anime turned stale pretty fast. The annoying and frustrating moments quickly eclipsed the cuter and wholesome moments. |
| They made some progress in the last episode, even small but progress, even for Lawrence. Loved everything about this show, Abel the wingman, Cecilia's VA, her first role and she was splendid. Lawreen~ I can't say goodbye to this series. Hope to hear a S2, and Cecilia's VA in more roles! |
| I was thinking we’d get an SoL ending here where life just goes on, and we kinda did but not before that excellent moment between Lawrence and Cecilia in front of the Christmas lights, Lawrence initiated that hug like a pro not just once, but twice, and Cecilia even got her own hug in, and in the process we saw Lawrence the most flustered he has ever been in the course of the show which was the cherry on top of this great moment, thank you Hazelita for giving Lawrence the idea lol. And I was kinda surprised they ended on the Lily bit after the ED but it did work as a final scene, I really liked seeing the main couple from a child’s pov who also happens to be another wingwoman for Cecilia, not a bad place to end on, especially after the greatness this episode contained. And lastly, speaking of Christmas, that transition art where Cecelia was bundled up in warm clothes reminded me of “A Christmas Story” lol. And that was the end of one of the cutest shows I watched this season, really sad to see this one end, it really was a great way to end my Wednesdays seeing what goofiness Cecilia and Lawrence were up to each week. One of the best parts of this one was definitely the unique relationship Lawrence and Cecilia had regarding the pastor and Saint thing, and it also played into the romance aspect and also had some interesting lore about the saints in particular, and of course the development of Lawrence and Cecilia over the course of the show was great to witness, sure there was no kiss or realization but Lawrence has definitely come a long way from his incredible density in the beginning. It was also nice just seeing Doga Kobo return to what they do best after “Oshi no Ko” last season, this is the type of goodness I’m used to by them and will gladly take more lol, they did a great job with it too. And that OP and ED were a very nice combo, especially that ED, such a good chill song, it worked perfectly being what you hear after all the comfy goodness. I definitely need a 2nd season of this one day, hopefully it could possibly happen despite the track record of SoL anime getting sequels. |

| very wholesome little show, i do appreciate no unnecessary drama shows like this once in a while. definitely the most consistently good show of the season for me, even my other favorites like jjk s2 and my happy marriage have had some mediocre episodes but i enjoyed this all the way through. also, cecelia best girl of the season. doga kobo went back to back after oshi no ko and gave another solid adaptation, love the visuals. will definitely miss the cuteness of this show and the opening, strong 8/10. |

| This was the most wholesome and comfy show of the season IMO and I mostly enjoyed it. Beyond Lawrence sometimes being annoyingly dense (I still think he mostly acted that way or was in denial) Cecilia and her voice actress were great. I understand that this is the VA's first anime voice role and she did a superb job! I got a little sad when they showed Federica's grave but was also thankful that she wasn't forgotten either. On that note I know Lawrence has and will continue to protect Cecilia. Hopefully this series is continued whether it's a 2nd season or OVA(s) but regardless I still enjoyed what we got. Animation and character designs were fine, and so were the OP and ED. Only minor gripe, besides Lawrence's denseness, was that the storyline moved a little slow and I had hoped for more character development but at least they established a family bond (and got cute Lily's blessing lol). 8/10 |

| And with that, my comfy Wednesday's are over for now. =( I was very satisfied with how the last episode went. Namely, it was thanks to the incredibly wholesome and cute scene with Cecilia and Lawrence viewing the festival from a distance, where the pair could be alone in peace and voice out their honest thoughts and feelings to one another. It might not be an outright confession, but the pair of them were truly fine with that and for me as a viewer, that's a good enough outcome for me to be happy with it! It pretty much sums up the series as a result for me as well. The cosiness that this series offered when Cecilia, Lawrence, Hazelita and Abel were all together was great. Lawrence might be a dense brick a lot of the time, but that never made me dislike him one bit. Plus, seeing how the other characters teased him about his denseness did give me plenty of laughter. XD Doga Kobo delivered in terms of production values once more, which again adds to how impressive of a year that they've had in 2023 so far. 8/10 will be my final score and I hope it won't be long before I find another new seasonal show to match the cosy comfy feeling that this series generously offered. |

Not everything has to have a clear romantic resolution, some people need time with putting their feelings into perspective, as was well said by fortune-teller lady. It's actually good we didn't get a rushed realisation or confession. They both care about each other, and that's all that matters. |

| That was a cute ending even though Lawrence is still dense as can be at least he was pushed into progressing the relationship to be slightly more intimate. I guess that is kind of cute, acting like a couple not realizing they are slowly becoming a couple organically. I like the vibes of the show and I can give it credit for being the only anime ive seen that actually gave a lore accurate depiction of faeries and pretty cute throughout and I like Cecilia's Saint clothes. That said I also found myself trailing off on some episodes losing attention to the point I had to watch the episode a second time to actually enjoy it. I dont know how i feel about how Lawrence is dense to the point it is hard to believe which goes past cute into pure frustration too often. He is like at the level with someone that is far on the spectrum, even Lilly saw more than he did CarbonMD said: it just seemed to have no plot It is what it's supposed to be. For whatever reason MAL didnt include slice of life in the genre or iyashikei in the theme for the anime entry. |

| I like how the festival on winter changed the usual fireworks classic as those towering light. The fuck so this is ended up in the family-zone territory? Smh shame on you, Lawren. Even the kids here have more delicacy to find romance, instead, our black pastor Lawren stucked up with what his grandpa said, and there they go, as a family. What a hilarious take at least for me xd. Overall, Cecilia adorable asf. Black pastor truly an awesome husbando, but sheesh need more time to gets better. Claris simply goated. | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Another great series coming to an end. I absolutely loved this series. I'm a huge fan of angels and holy stuff so when I saw this was gonna air I was super hyped and it didnt disappoint. Such a wholesome experience. Very re-watchable as well. This is in the same catagory as Is the Order a Rabbit for me where I dont have to be in any particular mood to re-watch this series. Cecilia is a national treasure that must be protected at all costs. |

| Knew from the start that I might enjoy this series. And man what a show. It hits exactly what I need in a wholesome thing to get me into a good mood. Good stuff. I am not sure if its a 8 or a 9/10 for me but I still enjoyed it the whole way through. |
| It's nice to see the two lovebirds get closer and closer despite Lawrence being dense. Such a great, wholesome, cute and relaxing show. Every episode makes me smile from ear-to-ear. Cecilia is such a, innocent, and pretty girl. Someone you want to protect. Despite that, there were some emotional scene about Frederica. Thinking about it makes my chest tighten as she's the one who was poorly treated and would love to see a Frederica x Gilbert scene. She could've been treated but the @holes of people just let her die. It makes me angry. I was kinda hoping that Hazelita would become Frederica's successor and become a saint, but that's just me. Just glad that Cecilia found someone to make her happy and Lawrence found a family in her. In the end. This show is great and always puts me in a really good mood. Ever since seeing it in the upcoming summer anime line up, I just had to try and watch this wholesome show and I am glad that I did. |
