Definitely not a fan of the games so far. They look to just be facade for the author to do whatever. And maybe the anime's portrayal was different but that bike was horrendous.

Anyway this has been very fun so far. MC's like a reverse Ayanokouji, since he's a dumbass pretending to be smart. He feels a bit too silly sometimes, especially when he keeps calling the heroines cute over and over, bro at least expand your vocabulary. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a genius, this twist's been done many times already.

One can just purposely lose? In these challenges, winning is extremely important because it determines your status and worth. Nobody wants to purposely lose and give a low rating to themselves, since everything is based on accumulating more stars. Stars are like a currency that represents your progress and skill level. If you lose a challenge, the winner takes one star from you as a penalty. However, if you only have one star, you can use the island's currency instead of a star to pay the penalty for your defeat.

What are the benefits of the stars? Stars are a visual representation of where you stand in the class system. They serve as a clear indication of your status on the island. Having more stars comes with privileges and benefits, such as access to restricted areas that lower star holders cannot enter, power struggles, and many more.

Why does a 7* need to accept a challenge when they only lose stars? It's because duel requests cannot be refused, however, one is free to choose in which order one takes them.

Why 7* are not common? One can become a 7* only after enrolling by having an entrance exam score that is the highest in history. Also, students with five stars or more will not be able to get more stars unless they defeat a higher-level opponent(higher star count number), so it is almost impossible to reach 7* without being directly enrolled at that level.

Also the bar where they were having the secret talk was supposed to be underground and a dark place with no windows.
